Do you know where I can download a VI that can generate a bar code.
I use LabVIEW 6.1.

The easiest way to generate a bar code is to just use a bar code font in a string indicator. I've got a 3 of 9 font on my system that I don't know where it came it from (printer or Word installation maybe). Other formats are available - do a web search for barcode fonts. If you need to read bar codes, get a keyboard wedge type. These go between the keyboard and pc and give text input just like typing. No special VIs are required. Good luck.

Not sure on porting out the log data, but you can find it under General->About->Diagnostic&Usage->Diagnostic&Usage Data. It will give you a list of your log data, and you can get additional details by selecting the applicable log you are looking for. Hope this helps.

The Notes features of the 3G iPod Nano only supports TXT files and not Word Documents. If you want to be able to read these word documents, you'll need to copy the text from each over to a text file. See here for more information.

         i have attached my program to this mail. i have some problems in this program.
problems:
1. I want to select the threshold for the rms,varience and s.d.
But what i used is not doing that. i want to fix the upper threshold value and lower threshold value.
when ever the input crosses upper threshold value i want the output and it will remains uptill the value above the lower threshold value.
Once it come down the lower threshold value the output should be stopped.
2. I want to write this in to a file and i want to read this file. is this possible or not.
            please try to help me i am very new with lab view6i

The easiest way to perform a certain action (such as file I/O) based on a certain condition (such as whether a value has passed a certain threshold) is to use a comparison VI in combination with a case structure. Then you can specify that if your rms, standard deviation and variance are above a threshold then perform a certain action.
Also consider using shift registers to keep track of data from the last loop. If I understand you correctly, you want to start logging data when an upper threshold has been passed. Then you want to continue logging data until a lower threshold is passed. I have attached a non-functional but explanatory VI that will help explain how to implement logic to that effect. It also demonstrates that you can indeed write and read from the same file in a loop. The best way to do this is to open the file before the loop, do all the necessary writing and reading in the loop, and then close the file after the loop.

Bought the wife a new iPad mini and I inherited the older iPad 1st generation. I would like to use it to store and read a lot of my pdf's. How do I get them into the iPad and how do I view and read the pdf's? I think the IOS 5 is far as I can go on updating... I think. Thanks for any help.

The user reviews on that page seem to rather clearly indicate that the add-on does not work in CC2014.
Personally, I've had little or no success with in-application barcode generation via add-ons and plugins. I would strongly recommend you try Terry Burton's excellent Online Barcode Generator.
After you click the Make Barcode button, you'll have the option of saving/opening it in EPS format, which will come into Illustrator as vectors.

Yes, I know the idiom, but Microsoft strives for backwards compatibility while Apple is known for not slavishly adhering to it. Since they dropped it from the OS on the Nano with the 6th, and they also would have had to add controls for scrolling I'm sure they decided it wasn't worth the time or effort given the demand. You are the first person I've seen ask for this in a long time and I fail to see any big demand for it.

Yes the files (no extension) these are mbox files and have different sizes so they must contain emails.
I also notice that all the '''.msf '''files are a different date and firefox files instead of text file that look same as the mbox file.
In your Profile folder, Mail, Local folders - Locate the file you showed us in the image.
Close Thunderbird now - this is important.
Delete all the files that show a .msf extension.

Long hold on the document in mail and it should give you the open in... option, select adobe reader and the file is now saved locally for viewing even while offline.
