Hi I moved to New Zealand and brought my Meteor Nokia Lumia phone over with me. I couldn't get it to work here and bought a cheap phone to get me by. I loved my Nokia Lumia though and am trying to get it unlocked. My sister recently came over on holidays and wasn't able to use hers either but rang home and got it unlocked. I have tried to get it unlocked it but is it very expensive and you might as well get a new phone. I have rang home but Meteor told me they can't as I haven't topped up the phone in over a year. Does anybody have any advice without it costing a bomb. All of our savings are gone emigrating and just hope someone would know how we can do this or Meteor might have pity on us? Thank you Lorraine

Meteor are a commercial company and don't do pity.I had a similar issue in New Zealand working there for 6 months where despite my phone being an Irish one and unlocked, It was still regionally locked by Huawei (European) and couldn't be unlocked to Vodafone NZ. NZ is full of Asians plus Asian phone stores, you might try them to see if they can unlock it... The cheapest option for me was to buy a local PAYG phone.

i lost my iphone a cpl off weeks back and reported it to the local police then four days later a local taxie driver handed me it back it was working for a cpl off days then was blocked when i phoned up to find out why they just said it was reported as lost or stolen now i have my phone back is there any way off getting them to unlock it again ??

it wouldnt be sorted out as apple cannot unblock phones from a network they dont own or control and apple does not have any cellular network to block and if you get a samsung and it gets blocked it is the carrier doing the blocking not samsung you need to contact voda phone and tell them you want to elevate this issue to a higher level of customer support as they are the only place that can help you what will you for just wait for if you do not contact voda phone nothing will happen your phone being blocked has nothing to do with apple might as well go ask your neighbor to unblock it

How can I get refund codes back after deleting the e-mail?

A mistake by iTunes had me purchase Taylor Swift's Red album for full price even though I had previously purchased a few singles. iTunes sent me an e-mail with some refund codes, but I can no longer locate the e-mail. How can I get my phone to search for the network

I have a BB 8310 Curve, my issue I have is that I work in an area that I dont get cell service until I get outside (very thick dense walls) so while I am down here, my BB basically gives up searching for a network. When I go outside it takes a long time for it to search for a network again, unless I power it off and power it on again.
Does anyone know of an easy way to make it start the network search again?

Some carriers lock this down so it may not be available for you.
But try it out.
Options> Mobile network
Scroll down and change selection mode to manual, it will scan for networks manually. . . .Quite honestly you are best of just turning the device off and on, or just turning the mobile network off/on

     If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
     below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
     simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
     same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync).      2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the
         red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
          If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake
          and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake
          and Home buttons.
     3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device.
         The device should turn on. Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device
         charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then
         start with step 2 again.
     4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
         When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
     5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
     6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
Additional Information:
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

Do you have copies of them in the Tones section of your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync them back to your phone? If you haven't then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload
