How can i get rid of In-Box:don't want it - won't use it - don't like it and most unprofessional to take-over a past wonderful site.
got home from out of town and when computer went on up comes this In-Box thing. I did not order it, Don't Want it and WILL NOT USE IT and it has a lousy "google finder" in other words IT STINKS. I want to get rid of it and have Firefox open with Google
on the page in the center which is the only way I want it.
Your help will be most appreciated. Thank you for your fine service. Until now with In-Box....

The keyboard has been white since iOS 7 first came out. Now at least with 7.1, the letters are much better looking. And you can reduce the white a little. You can't get another keyboard and you can't go back to a previous version.
You can do the following in Settings > General > Accessibility Bold Text - Increase Contrast - Darken Colors - Reduce White Point
That should help you with the keyboard. -
A few days ago, Yahoo decided to put up a vertical section on the right side of the game window that takes up 30% of the screen in the game. I have not been able to get rid of it.
I asked the Yahoo Customer Care rep and she said that it is not supposed to happen as the game should not be stopped by the ads and that I should try with another Browser. I tried it with Chrome and that ad section was not there with Chrome.
I was told that it was probably a browser issue and I did disable most of the add-ons and plug-ins but it did not work.
Any suggestions as to how I can get rid of that vertical ad section?This problem is not a pop-up. First of all the problem did not start until Yahoo changed their set up for ads in Yahoo Games.
Once it did start, the ads do not "pop-up", it is a vertical bar that is there all the time. You cannot get rid of it.
By the same token, it is not a Yahoo Problem since the problem does not exist using another server.
Yahoo says it has to do with some add-ons or plug-ins in Firefox that is causing the problem.
As you can see by the screen picture, one third of the game screen has a vertical ad area. I want to get rid of it. -

Do you have Lock Rotation turned ON? This creates an icon that has a circle with arrow around a lock. See the control panel to turn off Lock Rotation (swipe up from the bottom of the screen to show the Control Panel). -

Launchpad on my 3 week old 13inch macbook pro with OS Lion, is displaying all sorts of strange files and icons, some of which include: disk image mounter, dock, how can I get rid of this? ods agent, 50onPaletteServer, spotlight.service, SCIM, TCIM, makePDF, PressAndHold, MassStorageCamera- to name but a few! Theres over 100 of these icons and I have no idea what they are and where they came from? whilst using googlechrome yesterday my macbook suddenly slowed down and all running programmes froze. i eventually got all programmes closed and restarted twice and was still running slow. Today it is up to normal speed but I noticed how Launchpad is totally messed up and I dont know how to get rid or move any of these icons, that is if they are even meant to be there. Im not sure if it is relevant but I shall also add that the Hard Disk Icon was randomly being displayed on my desktop as well.
Any help on whats happening to my launchpad and what these icons are would be greatly appriciated.

According to your descriptioin, I don't think this is system problem, it should be Intel driver problem. It would be contact Intel to confirm this issue whether this is their driver problem.

After opening my yahoo mail window, I keep getting a very short and narrow dialogue box with the words "log into Xmarks" I cannot ... when it pops up, always upper left of my laptop screen and I try to get into my yahoo mail web page, I get a DING sound and cannot enter it ... everything is frozen. I have to hit CNTRL + ALT + ESC to get rid of it - and then reload my Firefox browser to get back to my yahoo e-mail page ... fortunately for me, Firefox re-stores a previous session ... I do not know of any such option. I don't think that it is even possible at this time, however it doesn't mean that maybe sometime in the future Apple or someone else will make a way to do such as your request.
