How can I have multiple rows of bookmarks in the bookmark toolbar? I can't find any way to do this in 4.0. If I had know this wasn't possible in the new version, I would not have downloaded it.

I have many bookmarks that I like to have readily available on the toolbar. With the older versions of Firefox, I was able to have multiple rows of icons that I grouped by topic. I have now wasted a lot of time trying to find a way to have multiple rows in version 4.0. I do not want to use the down arrow on the right.

This can be done by adding a userstyle with the Stylish add-on.
# First install the Stylish add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/stylish
# Go to http://userstyles.org/styles/29428 and click on "Install with Stylish"
# Restart Firefox and you should then have a multi-row bookmarks toolbar.

Rather late to mention that it is good practice to keep backups, for instance by following

* and although it must not be regarded as a backup method consider using [[what is firerfox sync|sync]] that is intended to allow you to sync two devices, you then effectivly have a backup on another device.
Make a manual backup of whatever you have now and store it somewhere safe, not in firefox profile or program paths - maybe use the Windows Desktop location. Note unfortunatly the restore process overwrites existing bookmarks.

I love the new FireFox 4. Looks great. Feels great. Top of the game. Best browser ever.
There are two versions of the bookmark(s) button. The 1st is just a folder/star icon that when pressed, opens up a panel with your bookmarks. I hate that one. Never use it.
The 2nd is similarly a folder/star icon, but functions as a dropdown menu. That version, I love. Problem is, it (the bookmark button itself) ALWAYS has text beside it saying "Bookmarks" -- hogging up my toolbar space. Is there any way to remove said text?
There used to be an add-on that replaced or added a new dropdown bookmark button to the customize menu, but it's not compatible with the latest FF.
I can't help but think there's an easier way than creating/installing a WHOLE addon just to remove some (1 word) of text.

EDIT: I would also like to add, that yes, I'm not a noob, and have the "Show: Icons (only)" option enabled within the Customize Toolbar menu -- it STILL shows text for only this (bookmarks dropdown) button.

I have an iPod Touch but I currently don't have a PC. I found an app that would allow me to connect to my network drive and I was able to transfer music files to it. These files do not show under the Music app and I can't find any way to do it.

Unfortunately, these new files do not show under the Music app and I can't seem to find any way to convince the iPod that they are music. I can play them through the file manager only. Android doesn't have this problem, any music I put on my phone is recognized as music and can be played through any of the music apps. Am I missing something or is Apple to inflexible to handle this?

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

Personally, I would not recommend deleting/removing the iWorks 09 folder for several reasons: one is that the new versions have had several functionalities removed and until you decide that you can work with the new one and do not miss any features the older version had, I would leave the old one in place. Personally, I will not be using the new versions.
The second reason is that you can accomplish what you want using a different approach: simply open a Get Info window of your document and choose which version of Pages you want this to open in - you can also stipulate that all docs like this are opened with whichever particular version.
FWIW: Once you have edited an old document in the new Pages version, you can no longer open it in the older version. However, you can still export it to the old version.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
When you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner

iOS 7 allows you to have your apps update automatically. Therefore, the list of what has been updated stays so that you can see what was updated, when and what the release notes say. It has been suggested that they list has a limit, much like Recents. Currently, there is no way for the user to delete the entries manually. Just try not to look at them.

Try restoring the iPhone to factory settings. If you are having difficult restoring, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode and see if that then works:

You can only get the iPhone serviced by Apple in Canada, so you will have to take the iPhone there or send it to someone you know in Canada who can get the iPhone serviced and send it back to you. The only option for getting service in Pakistan would be to pay some unauthorized repair shop to attempt a repair, after which Apple will no longer provide any service even in Canada.
