How can I join/Full outer join two different columns instead of union all?

Hi,
I have a scenario as the following:
I am performing set operations using obiee 11g where I want to take values from two different criteria. Howwver, I dont want union to take place, instead i want join to take place to see all the columns in the output.
For that, I tried changing the sql in advanced tab and tried to put full outer join instead of union all but its not allowing me to change.
How can I achieve it? please help.

(1) your title ask the way to link different spreadsheets.
In Numberland, a spreadsheet is an entire document.
There is no way to link different documents.
(2) in the message, you ask the way to link different tables.
This feature is available and is described in iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide (which is available for free from the Help menu).
Getting the info just requires a simple search in this available resource !

You need to make a copy of the bookmark to have it appears more than once.
If you click the star then you modify (edit) the existing copy of the bookmark.
You can also drag the tab or globe/padlock to a bookmarks folder or the Bookmarks Toolbar to create a copy.

Hello,
Left outer join behavior is what you get by default with a link between two queries in Reports.
If you want a full outer join behavior, you'll need to create a third query that selects the detail records that have no corresponding master, and also create an extra layout region to display them in as a default group left or group above won't pick up these extra records.
If you want right outer join behavior, you'll need to put in a summary in the master query that counts the rows in the detail, and then put in a format trigger in the master repeating frame that suppresses printing when there are no detail records. And you'll also need the third query and layout section as in the full outer join case.

How can I use sysnonym to hide two different views?

My question is how can I use 2 different users to login and they point to different views. However, in the program level, the view name always stand for "Test_View".
I try to meet the requirements and do the followings:
Step 1: In user A account, it creates two different views and also grant select to User B and User C respectively.
Step 2: Login User B and create public synonym called "Test_View".
Step 3: Login User C and create public synonym called "Test_View".
I encounter the problem in Step 3 which is public synonym called "Test_View" is already exist. So, anyone can tell me once login and it will depend on which view you can see on program level.

As 399811 told you, you have to create private synonyms.
"CREATE SYNONYM ...." instead of "CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM ...."
the private synonym has to created in each user.

Actually I am totally new in ADF world and I am trying to implement some applications in ADF.
I created an UI based on some 3 tables(there is foreign key relation between them) and some other tables. I am able to modify and save my application if there is any data in all the tables.
My Actual issues are
1) I removed all the data from the tables. There is a submit(CreateInsert) button, what I expected is on click of the button I should see all the fields in editable mode. But I was able to see only few fields and also in readonly mode. So here my issue is how can i create and save these data.
2) Consider on my landing page I have just CommandLink/CommandButton. After clicking that page I should get the above screen in create mode(I mean to say all fields in editable mode). How can achieve this?

Just change the showAll as shown - * is a wildcard - any object/event will work.
You can also do like:
function showAll(evt:* = null):void{
By putting the = null you can call it with the events or just call it like showAll(); if you need.

How can I edit my project on two different computers?

So I began a project on computer 1. I need to continue editing on computer 2. I emailed the document to myself and saved it onto my computer. The video for the project is coming from my phone so I have the files on both computers. When I opened the project on computer 2 to continue editing, it asked me to locate the files that we're on computer 1. How can I locate the files to the ones on computer 2?

Find the missing media file in your project panel. Right click on it, and choose "Link Media".
It will open a new window in which you can navigate to the location where you saved your file on computer 2. If you check the "Display Only Exact Name Matches", it will be easier to find. Bear in mind that when you begin to edit on computer 2, there is no way to update computer 1, except by going through this same procedure in reverse.

Its not advisable as such to use complex join in physical layer......Use physical primary-foreign key relationship join on the tables.
But looking at your where condition
where tab1.date between tab2.start_date and tab2.end_dateIt is not possible because you are taking table1 date and giving the table 2 dates for evaluation.
it should be this way if its primary key relation ship.
where tab1.date between tab1.start_date and tab1.end_dateIf it is equi-join then you need to write what you have mentioned in your query.

I downloaded a video that is in black and white (pitbull's feel the moment). I want to superimpose videos and pictures so that it looks like my clips were the ones used originally. i was messing around with the hue (from my videos) and managed to get it similar. But is there a way to automatically match the tones and hues of one video so that it can be used on the other?

What happens if I enable iTunes Match in a different account on my Mac Pro. I am already set up with iTunes Match because I was travelling and I wanted to use my iPhone on the road but not fill up the storage. I turned off iTunes Match in my primary account (user of course) becuase I have all the "original" music in that library. I have another account though that I would also like to be able to use just some of the music at different times. I have a separate account for using Final Cut Pro X.
So, would ITunes Match be the solution I am looking for? iCloud status gives me all of the music I have purchased but it is short about 800 music files.

I recently bought a new laptop and i plugged in my ipod shuffle but i cant add any new music to it because it was originally set up on my old laptop. Unlike other ipods, when i plug it back into the old laptop, there is no box to check like "Manually manage" or whatver. Is there any way for me to set up my ipod on my new laptop without restoring it to its original settings and losing all the other music?

If there is no Manually manage music setting, it must be a 1st or 2nd shuffle, not a 3rd or (current) 4th gen shuffle. The older shuffles act like simple playlists. You can only associate that shuffle with ONE iTunes library at a time (just as a regular playlist in iTunes belongs only to one iTunes library).
So, the answer is no. However, you can put the songs on the shuffle currently into the new computer's iTunes library, then sync the shuffle to that library.
For songs that you purchased from the iTunes Store, you can re-download them on the iTunes Store Purchased screen. You can also use iTunes to transfer songs you purchased from iPod to computer.
For other songs, you cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer. But there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your new computer, add them to the iTunes library by dragging the them (or the folder containing the song files) to the iTunes window. After confirming everything is there, you can sync the shuffle to the new computer's iTunes library.

In theory an DBURI can be used, making use of the DBURIServlet which is part of the XML DB Infrastructure
/oradb/SCHEMA/TABLE[predicate]... I'm not sure I'd recommend this approach.
XLink, XInclude and XPointer are the right techniques to do this. As I in my earlier post we don't do anyhting special to enforce or resolve these techniques in the current production product. You can store documents that contain these kind of links in the database. If you organize your content approriately in the XML DB repository you can resolve these links programatically today.
We will be doing some interesting work to support all of these standards to a greater or less extent in a future release of the database. To use the repository to manage these links it will be necessary to create a resource that allows URL based access to each document that you want to link to. You can create links to existing content by obtaining a REF to the XMLType and then foldering the REF under the required URL.
Note that this technique cannot be used to refer to XMLType stored in columns of XMLType in an relational table, only to rows of XMLType in an XMLType table.

When I run the above query I get a problem.
I am expecting to see is a merge of all the attribute_id's and their values.
The query does not appear to be merging the data as intended.
My understanding of the full outer join is that its a combination of left and outer joins,
so the above query is intended to return with the total number of unique attributes
and their appropriate values
a) I have a bug in the Sql
b) This is an oracle bug
c) My understanding is incorrect

How do you expect a full outer join operation when you have given --
where c.partner_id=710326;According to your supplied data - i don't think your query can perform that full outer join operation because of that filtration. Just remove that last condition and checked it. You will get your desired result - hopefully.
