Have you even looked at the calendar app? Did you not notice the "Alert" field in the event details when you create a calendar event?

Actually, Reader SHOULD keep showing documents that no longer exist, I disagree. It's no big deal, and people will quickly realise why they can't open the file. They open more files, the old ones move off.
The REASON why it should not check is that checking whether a file exists can take a long time when things aren't good. For instance if a file server goes down, or a memory card is unplugged. That in turn would mean delays opening the File menu, and I've seen some software that can sit there for several minutes. That would really give people something of which to complain... -

I am new to actionscript 3 and trying to learn as I go. The problem I am having is the following:
I have a carousel of images that load an external swf movie with a FLVPlayback component on it. The problem is that when the external swf unloads the sound of the FLVPlayback component continues to play. I am using a carousel component I found online to load the images and each image loads an external swf file. here is the code for it.

The external movie loads fine. Then the external swf calls for a second swf containing a video. This is the code that is used to load the swf:

When the carousel unloads, it unloads both movies but the sound keeps on playing.
Is there any way to stop the sound from keep playing?

-MYou want to stop the audio from playing and also downloading more video/audio if it is still downloading when you go to a new keyframe where the video display/component or mp3 player is removed from the stage because it's keyframe ended or do not exist anymore but you still hear the audio.
Add an event listener to your video playback component that calls a function when the flash player tries to remove the video plaer from the stage that stops the netstream or at least stops/pauses the video playback.

It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.

If the phone was previously owned and is locked to that owner's Apple ID the ONLY way you can activate it is to get that person to release Activation Lock. This is an antitheft feature of the phone; stolen phones are useless.
If you purchased the phone new you created the Apple ID, and will have to remember it. If it is only the password you have forgotten go to https://iforgot.apple.com -

Apple doesnt give this feauture and there are certain apps in app store under utilities which provide password facility under this app and u can store photos videos and orther stuff and lock so
Kids will be not able to access this single app ortherwise there is no such feature of locking apps feature given by apple

Follow these steps....
1. Goto se16 and enter ur table name.. press F7 you can get selection screen now press F8...
2. Click one perticuler record that u want to delete.. and press Change icon in App'toll bar...
3. enter ?H at command field and again press enter...
4. switch into classical debugger...
5. write CODE at field ... it will gives EDIT as value...
6. Change that EDIT into SHOW and press pencel icon just beside the SHOW...
7. Now press F8...
8. you can get delete option over there...

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. Is there any chance that you guys will come up with an update for your app so that open VPN can be made to work on all iOS devices? That would be nice, particularly if the Open VPN Connect app does not give me a choice of exit points.Thanks,
I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?
Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina.That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. you can try to take a snap shot of the screen. to do this open your calendar, hold down the home key and quickly press & release the power button, release the home button the same as the power button..... if you do it right the screen will flash and you will hear a camera shutter sound. the snap shot will then show up in your pictures under the camera roll section. at that point you can print it to a wifi printer, or just email it you and print it out from your computer..... i don't know if there is any other way to "print" the calendar.

You can't do this in PSE by itself. I'm assuming you have windows, so output your slideshow as a wmv file and then use Premiere Elements to finalize the disc, if you have that. If not, use whatever you do have (if you can burn DVDs, you have software). Even windows dvd maker will do this.

Thanks much!When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

I just thought that the example you pointed the OP to, is far more complex than what I understood he needs. The OP was talking about using a button, which I thought was a very basic and simple case. Your example is much more complicated. If memory serves, the radio group item, at the time (prior to 3.1 fieldset) behaved differently, so you needed to create a new value retrieving function, and then was the need to preserve the items show/hide status upon reloading the page. In short, I thought maybe I didn’t see the complexity in the OP post, but it seems that his requirement was indeed a simple one.

a gap between letters started to show in my indesign files. tried to undo with tracking, then with the paragraph settings. nothing helped. it ruins the fluent view of the document. how can i restore the program so that doesn't happen?
for example: say i write a paragraph. then, in a weird some sort of way an involuntary gap suddenly appears between different letters of random words(i did not recognize any pattern to the gap appearing) throughout the entire paragraph. once i've double clicked on that paragraph, and made a minor change, lets say tapped a 'space' key, and then clicked ctrl+z to undo, it has aligned(or fixed) the entire paragraph and made it look ok again. i've tried numerous ways to undo the entire thing, but cannot find the reason. i've been working for a few years and there's no reason why this thing all of a sudden should happen right now.
if anyone has stumbled on something like that and can advise, i would welcome it.
