I am trying to build a dropdown list dependant on another dropdown list
Once a selection is made in dropdown list 1:
Only items associated with that selection are populated in dropdown list 2 AND
populates text field 1 with the data selected in dropdown list 1
Once dropdown list 2 selection is made:
populates a text field 2 with the data selected in dropdown list 2
Anybody know how this can be done?

The idea is that you can read in data from an external or attached file, but it will need to be a different format such as XML, tab-delimited text, or CSV, which can all be exported from a spreadsheet.

We are creating a writeable/fillable Form PDF that asks for a person's birth month, birth date, and birth year.
We want to make filling the form as easy for our respondents as possible. For the blank that asks for the birth month, we would like to create a dropdown list of all 12 months.
We also would like to make the creation of the form as easy as possible for us. Is it possible to avoid having to type all 12 months into the list?
What about for birth years from 1901 to 2000?

And you are aware of the possible options for listing the months and having an optional export value for each month.
For listing the months, you can use a number, a 3 character string, or the full name.
For the export value, the full name, the 3 character value, the 1-2 number, or the 0-11 JavaScript value.
I would look at deciding how you want to populate the drop down box and build a one page form with just this field. You can then insert that page into a PDF and copy the field as needed and then delete the inserted page. Or you could create an FDF file to create the drop down box.

How can I use a Dropdown list in a table col and only get the choosen key?

I have chosen Cell editor = Dropdown for two of the columns in my WD table (ordinary Table not ALV) .
When the table is displayed the first time this looks OK, but if a user selects a value from the dropdown list, both the key and the explanation text is copied into the cell, and the cell column is automatically widened. I want to copy the key value only, and not the connected text. How is this possible?
I started setting the table as fixed and setting the width on the column, but this was a puzzle I gave up since there are quite a lot of columns.

Well , the problem is that in the dropdown list I want to see both the key value and the text, like you do in SAP GUI. Fex. if I would like to create a dropdown for langauges, factory calendar or countries, I want to see both the country code (the key) and the name of the country in the dropdown list, and then when user choose a line I would only like to see the keyvalue in the input field. Right now I concatenate the key and the text into the 'value' in the valueset table.
In some cases the user knows the key value better than the explanational text, and then it is good to show both values. But sInce I would like to save space in the table displayed in the view I only want to show the key values selected in the table (ex. NO if user choose Norway) .
But maybe it is better to create this kind of input help as an OVS with no input fields .?

Instead of hardcoding a static menu using an unordered list, I would like to populate it from a table
(just two fields, MenuID,MenuDesc) so that the menu can grow or shrink depending on what is in the table.
Tried googling this but cannot make head or tail of php server side recursive scripts, datareaders etc

I am trying to create a NCAA bracket where they select teams from a dropdown menu. For example, they choose which teams win in game 1 and 2 through a dropdown box. The winner of games 1 and 2 then play each other, so how can I populate the dropbox with their selections for game 1 and 2?

Game 9 winner needs to populate with their selections from game 1 winner and game 2 winner.

I would look at using the setItems Acrobat JavaScript method.
Have you considered using a Mouse Up action for "Game 1" and "Game 2" to fill "Game 9"

I have the dropdown list working.
(rinse and repeat)
However, I have coded each 'addItem' with a value.
So, if I have 3 radio buttons - I code for 72 different 'addItems'.
There is also a very good chance that some selections will only result in 3 values - where as other selections may yield 12 or 24.
I want to use global variables as an array (I think) and then be able to loop through these variables and populate the dropdown list with each pass of the loop.
This reduces the code from '72 lines' to 'very few lines').
The variable values for each RBG value are set in a script object.
How do I use/declare an array for my variables??

When you connect the iPod to the computer and iTunes is authorized for your Apple ID, then you will get a prompt to transfer the purchases from the device to the computer. Keep in mind this will only transfer purchased items from the iTunes Store.

noiw you get also other values
So better solution run the query twice over AGR1251 first on IT0008 and secondly on values W OR R and then the result over table AGR_USERS
Youu also might put an additional selection on object P* (only selecting HR objects)
output wll be UID in table AGR_USERS
