How can I set position of a JTextArea inside a JPanel?

Hi,
I'm trying to add a JTextArea to a JPanel. It works as expected but what can I do to alter the position of the JTextArea inside the JPanel? Right now the JTextArea is centered and starting at the top of the JPanel. I would like it to, either start one row down, or be centered vertically, depending on what looks the best.
Tried to mark as question, but that option is gone once the message is posted it seems.

JPanels don't have "rows", so that probably isn't the best description of your requirement. But the short answer is that you do it with a LayoutManager. There's a tutorial about them. Google keywords: java layoutmanager tutorial, and look for the ones from Sun.

It's not completely obvious. What you have to do in Spaces is to position your cursor to the upper right of the screen, after which faint + (plus) sign appears in that area. Click that, upon which another Desktop will appear.
The + may be difficult or impossible to see with some desktop backgrounds (black, for instance):

i have a Selection-Screen with two Parameters. Both Parameters should be have an Title.
But how can I set a Title two this Parameters? Is there existing any options????
For example, the Parameters "I_WRBTR" and "I_NBDOCS" needs two Title´s.
Every Parameter must have a title, but how can I realize this???

How can I set a default file for JFileChooser

Hi. I am developing a p2p chat application and I have to unrelated questions.
1. How can I set a default file name for JFileChooser, to save a completly new file?
2. I have a JTextArea that I append recieved messages. But when a message is appended, the whole desktop screen refreshes. How can I prevent that?

How can I set a session Breakpoint inside a macro (i.e. DEFINE .... END-OF-DEFINITION) in order to debug a prog.?
I keep on getting the message: "The position of a breakpoint cannot be determined." What does this message mean?

We cannot see the program control flow inside a Macro, instead we can place a break point on the statement which calls the Macro and we can see the content of variables and internal tables before and after the Macro call.

Dear friend,
I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?
Sorry if my question is simple, I had try to find solution myself, but it not found

Hi,
You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:
public class ConnectionClass {
static Connection con = null;
public static Connection getConnection() {

Context ctx = new InitialContext();
DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/TSPAGE");
con = ds.getConnection();
return con;
}catch(Exception e){

You can place the above class file in src folder and you can use this class in webdynpro.
You can have another UserInfo class for reading and writing the data into the DB .

Hi,
As you said you could do it at the report level and also at the universe level.
One more way is to create the filters in the universe levele and add them in thequery filter.
Ex: in the filter you need to write :
Column1 is null and and column 2 is not null etc.

How can i get the content of JTextArea with out loosing Indentation.

I am developing one mail sending application. I am getting mailid , from address, mail body from one Swing. In one JTextArea i am typing i have typed some matter. When i call the content of JTextArea using
jtx.getText() method, i am getting all the content as one paragraph. That means there is no indentation which was there in TextArea.
Please provide me some solution how can i get the content of JTextArea wiht out loosing indentation.

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. Is there any chance that you guys will come up with an update for your app so that open VPN can be made to work on all iOS devices? Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina.That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. We need to find an easy way to choose.

I found some resources that I think might help with the visibility of your IMAP email folders on your iPad and Mac.
On your iPad, you may need to follow the steps in this article to make sure your folders are visible:

On your Mac, I am not sure if you have the sidebar enabled, but you can enable it using the steps in the article below. When this is showing, you should see your email account listed near the bottom with a triangle next to it. When the triangle is pointing down, it should show your folders:

Without use the http console, how can I set BPEL server enviorment and create BPEL domain?
When I try to use API like below

But I always got four exceptions and one warning like below:
