How can I stop Google News coming in on my Mac Mail Account?

For no reason I keep getting Google News. I never signed up for it and don't want it. It comes into my in box every 5 minutes. How can i stop it completely.
I need a step by step approach since I'm a computer idiot. It's why I own a Mac. Thanks.

You don't do this in Word. You do it in the OS X Finder.
All you need do in Word is open the file, then select Save As from Word's File menu. Change the destination to your new folder then click on the Save button.
The Finder method is much faster if you have a number of files you want to move. Just remember that to open those moved files in Word, you will have to change the directory from which you will open those files.

My wife and I each have an Ipad and only one mail account. Both of us receive the same e-mails but when one of us deleates an e-mail it also deleates on the other Ipad. How can I stop this? I might delete an e-mail she wants to read. Thanks

Both Ipads therefore get the same mail and when either one of us deleates an email it also deleates on the other Ipad and this can be a problem if one of us doesn't want that e-mail deleted. Obviously our Ipads are synced and I don't know how to correct this. Any advice ?

If you both have the same email account, there's no setting on iPad you can use. When a message is deleted, it's deleted from the mail account server, which will happen on both devices.

How can I create a shared review using a web-based mail account?

I believe I should be able to do this using Acrobat 11 for Windows XP (I have the trial version), but I can't figure out how. We use Google Mail. Help says to:

I have both mac mail and AOL mail both together on my macbookpro. However the AOL contacts are not available in mac mail. I have to use safari to open AOL, sign in and copy down the contact i want to e mail. very inconvenient. there has to be an easier way! I do not want to add 28 pages of printed contacts (one by one) in the mac address book.

Go to the Apple menu (top left), and then system preferences. Go to users and groups. Find your user down the left and then go to the 'Login items' tab. Click messages in that list, and then click the little minus icon below the text that says...
"To hide an application when you log in, etc etc..."

Every time I try to open anything on Drive on my computer, it crashes. Whether it's a document or presentation, my computer will not open anything without the browser (Safari) crashing. How can I sync a new desktop computer to an existing sync account, already set up in an android tablet?

The story is, I had my desktop and android tablet synced, with a significant amount of bookmarks in the desktop PC. Then my desktop hard drive was reformatted and Win XP reinstalled.
I had not taken note of the recovery key previously (nor backed up the firefox profile), thinking that I would just easily sync the "new" desktop back to the existing account.
I can see the synced bookmarks in my tablet (but associated to the now nonexistent desktop).
I just can't find a way of retrieving the sync key or recovery key from the android tablet, to be able to join the "new" desktop to the same account.
Anyone have any idea of how to do it?
I've seen references to an add-on that would show the key but it doesn't work with the current firefox version (19)
An alternative would be to export the bookmarks from the tablet, but I couldn't find how to do it either. The option to export is not there on the android version.

I've tried, but it requires me to enter a Recovery Key and I can't find a way to retrieve that from the android tablet.

My name is Khilila and my boss wants our creative office to switch to PCs for our next upgrade. I'm been a graphic designer for close to 10 years and I am completely heartbroken. Is there anyone out there that's experienced the same thing? I'd like to create a manifesto of sorts but I'd love to hear from some fellow Apple professionals so I know I'm not crazy.

What are you using now? an iMac has limited upgrade options and shorter shelf life.
You can run Windows 7 on any PC and have your picks of graphic setups, SLI, CF, higher clocked RAM and cpu.
A boss gets to decide. And for same $3,000 per seat plus software, cross-platform license....
You can run Windows on your Mac but... there is total lack of real fan + thermal control so that does not work well in long run.
And your boss probably doesn't want to wait on Apple or buy into higher cost proprietary technology or 3 yr old design.
Haswell PCs? Unlikely they want Xeons.
Software? good use of cores? probably Windows.
Best Windows laptop: MacBook Pro 13" (but heat again is the Achilles heel)
Security: Mac
Hardware support and reliablity: Mac
Dealing with firmware updates: Apple tends to issue very few, usually one more after a model ships, PC: tend to see much more that you need to deal with and can be PITA and necessary, esp. with motherboard and processor support with new line.
Make a spreadsheet and list all the things you can come up with and see for yourself.
I don't think you'll win over your boss and how does it make you look? team player? reliable? dispensable?
