Firefox has a very powerful Password Manager. You can access it by going to ''Tools > Options > Security''. If you want to disable the feature completely, you can just uncheck the box next to ''Remember Passwords for Sites''. If you just want to remove your stored login information for a few particular sites, you can click on ''Saved Passwords'' and delete the entries for any sites you don't want stored.

Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

Ah ok that all makes sense. You are correct that would turn off Find my iPhone. Based off the additional info you provided, it seems to me that the password needs to be updated. What I recommend doing next is entering the password when it prompts you to. If the password is incorrect in the settings then Find my iPhone may not be able to find the phone because it does not have the password authenticated.
Then you can turn off any iCloud features you choose not to use with this article and leave only Find my iPhone enabled.

How can I get sso login info ''urlc'' in a portlet?

For partner-app, when the user tries to access the app through a direct url, the user will be directed to the portal's sso login page. After the portal's sso authenticates the user, it will redirect the user back to the app with the authentication information (urlc to be more specific) appended to the url. The app then can use this urlc information to call the sso-sdk api to get user info and to set cookie etc.
Instead of having the user to access the app directly by typing the url in the browser, I create a "gateway" portlet to display a link to the app and inport the portlet in a portal page. When the user gets to this portal page, the user has already logged in, therefore when the user clicks on the link, the user should not be redirected to portal's sso login page. In order to do that, I have to insert the urlc information in the link. My question is, how can it get the urlc information, therefore when I create the link dymanically in the gateway portlet, I can insert it into it? FYI - I am writing the gateway portlet in java. Is there any java api in the jpdk that I can use to get the urlc information?

The easiest way would be to set a SESSION of the username, and then insert the contents of that SESSION into the classified table's username field. You need to register a SESSION on every page of your site by placing <?php session_start(); ?> at the top of every page (in code view). This must be the very first line of code. Using SESSIONS is very handy because it stores any information that you want in a cookie - except that this is stored on the server (not the user's hard drive) and is destroyed when the user quits the browser.

As mentioned, you need to create a secure zone in your Business catalyst site and have a landing page set there only. This cannot be managed from Muse only.

I nearly learned this lesson the hard way: If you have something you want to distribute but need to do it securely, then keep a backup copy that is not protected by the same means. Example: email yourself a copy of the unprotected file (not for extremely sensitive stuff, of course) or save it to a flash drive that you can lock up. Bottom line: never depend solely on your memory for these things.

How can I stop gmail login from hijacking my blueyonder webmail

( Please note that I have posted this story, as a reply to someone else's gmail problem; but now realise it should be a separate question. At least I realised..... eventually.)
I recently set up a gmail account: in my ignorance, I thought it was a good idea. How wrong!!!
Since getting this computer several years ago, I've had no big problems with Firefox; but weirdly I couldn't get thunderbird to connect to the server: so, I've just been using Virgin-media's webmail. A year or so ago, Virgin passed their email service over to Goggle: making their webmail now over-complicated and messy on the screen- with many click-buttons duplicated, and some useful functions have been removed completely. Even with the old-style appearance option; my experience is worsened. For example, if I want to "add a new contact", I now have to open another tab in the new "standard" view: there is no longer any way to do it in the preferred previous view!! I don't like the new "standard" view because over half of the screen is covered by things other than my emails! I don't want to constantly have to look at multiple search boxes; and all those repeated clickables.
So, now I'll describe what happened when I registered for gmail: to my deepest regret!!!!! Suddenly I found my open virgin webmail page (tab) was being repeatedly HIJACKED, and taken a gmail login page. I never asked for any synchronization/amalgamation of my virgin (blueyonder.co.uk) email account and this flaming gmail account. So I closed the gmail account: because it is too much trouble for sweet f.a. in benefit! Google confirmed the gmail account is closed.
But the same blasted thing keeps happening: my open blueyonder page disappears, and the gmail login page appears. Goggle must have installed some form of MALWARE.... IT IS HIJACKING MY FIREFOX !!!
I have hunted all around goggle, including forums, for info on how to remove this unwanted malware. There is no info on how to remove anything goggle! There is no access route to ask actual people at goggle.
Perhaps Firefox folk can help? Please!

Please start by clearing your cache. [[How to clear the Firefox cache]] This will clear all old history of the page. Since Google has confirmed the account is closed but the MX records for the domain still have google servers: [http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=mx%3ablueyonder.co.uk%29&run=toolpage] the email address will still be directed to a gmail login page. When closing a gmail account it can take up to 24 hours to fully close. Clearing the browser's cache will remove the stored local cache from the last 24 hours.

How can I stop my login screen changing to shrunken dimensions when I log out from my account, it does so randomly!

Does anybody know how I might fix the followin:
When I log out of my user account on my macbook the screen display has started to do weird stuff like change size so that the usual log in screen appears small and to the left, not filling the whole screen, then if someone else in the familiy logs in to their user they may have the same problem within their usual screen, with a small area instead of the full screen to work with. THe remaining screen displays blue, without the chosen wall paper etc. It seems to do this randomly so that logging in and out of accounts, shutting down and reopening can get things back to normal, but only until it goes weird again.

It sounds like a problem wih the backlight inverter. Usually they just go, instead of on and off.
In a dark room hold a flashlight on the display when it blacks out. If you can see the items on the desktop, it's probably the backlight.

How can I stop Firefox from remembering a password for a site, so anyone on a shared computer can't use it?

Someone who used our home computer must have clicked "Do you want Firefox to remember this password?" when using one of my shopping sites. So now when I try to sign in to that site, the password and email are already filled in, and I just have to click. Anybody can do that and I want to stop it. Tried changing the password, but it was no good.

I am trying to get Java to work on my Firefox browser. I have followed all the suggestions on the Java website and also all that I can find on the Mozilla support.
Can anyone please help me as this is important to my work.
When I do a check on the java website it says I need a plugin; but when I try to check which plugin, there is no plug in that is available. I have checked my plug in manager and all my plugins are up to date.

If what you want to do is share your purchases with one Apple ID and have other stuff separate, that's pretty easy.
Check out the section "Use one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store purchases" in this article.

Basically he would use your Apple ID for the Stores (iTunes, Apps, iBooks) and his Apple ID for everything else (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, FaceTime, Messages etc).
Now if he has been purchasing stuff on his own account then you would have to make some choices on the purchase accounts.
You may also want to check out Family Sharing, which allows people to share purchases within a familly, each having their own IDs.

When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.

What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.
