How can I take a picture of a camera output on the Front panel

Hi all,
I've been fighting this one for a while, But I have a DataRay WinCamD CCD image in my front panel, I need a way of saving that image to a file. I've been crawling through NI Vision and IMAQ VIs and I can seem to piece the process together. This is a sample of my VI with the CCD image code. Can someone help me figure this out?
Many thanks

Its a simple version of what I use and its an integration code I borrowed from DataRay. The entire CCD image and buttons need to be included in a picture that I can save to my computer. I reuploaded the VI with the blocks labeled but thats all I have. Can anyone help me?
Thanks

  • How can I display a changing variable in a subvi on the front panel of the main vi as the subvi is excuting

In the document attached the vi on the right is sub to the vi on the left. On the subvi on the right the variable "Field Reading" is continuously updated on the front panel of the subvi as the "for" loop is executed, but only the last value of the variable is updated on the main vi front panel which is what is expected. My question is how can I display the changing value of "Field Reading" on the main vi front panel as the "for" loop in the subvi is running?
    Thank you.

Hopefully I can explain it well enough. It really is simple.
    1) Create an empty global variable and call it something like User Interface References.vi
    2) For each and every control and indicator on your front panel, right-click and select Create/Reference
    3) Place these references wherever you like (I use a series of Event cases to perform my initialisation and these all live in one of these event cases). They can be placed anywhere in the main vi.
    4) For each of the references, right-click and select Create/Indicator
    5) Moving to the front panel, Cut all the indicators and Paste them in the global variable (eg. User Interface References.vi)
    6) Moving back to the block diagram, wire the global variable to each of the references and select the same named global variable.
All the hard work is now done (until you add another user interface terminal). You should now have something that look as shown below, [except the reference labels would be to the left (not sure why the snippet put them above)]. In my latest program I have 82 references!
Done. You can now access all your front panel controls and indicators anywhere in your program as shown below.
You can just select Value in most cases, but in this particular case I wanted to fire off an Event to do some things (log the alarm) as well as just update the value. So, this is another bonus with the method.
Hopefully this all makes sense. If not, let me know.

How can i take Better pictures from my Sony Cybershot DSC-HX9V like DSLR?Kindly Best Settings...

Taking better pictures on an HX9v isn't something you can just 'do'. It takes learning and creativity.
Understanding how the camera works, and having a good imagination to use it.
Look at phone cameras for example, amazing photos.
If you're talking about image quality, that is, less noise, crisp sharp photos, etc, compact cameras in general just won't match the DSLR.
If you're talking about photos that look stunning, again, learn how to use the camera, and be imaginative (creative)
I have a couple of articles to understand the basics to a camera (I really need to find the time to add more) on my website:
    http://d3studio.com.au/
One thing I'm definitely lacking on there is composition, and that's something you can learn on YouTube - compositions in a photo is very important when you're first starting out.
Put your 9v onto M (manual) mode, and try out the different things - learn how the camera works, think about what you want to shoot, and then do it.
    Good luck.

You can't. You can take a screen cap of it, but the container doesn't allow access to the individual images used in a SWF or FLV.

Then ask whoever sent it to you to remove it and create a new PDF.
There is one thing you can check first and that’s layers in the PDF. Perhaps whoever created it put that on a top layer and you can just turn it off.

  • How to create a cluster, whose elements are all scattered across the front panel?

    Hi everyone!
I've been designing a front panel, which (I think :-)) feels pretty well when the override switches are scattered all over the screen. Anyway I'd like to process their states in a cluster. I tried pulling them in a cluster in the block diagram, which didn't do anything (actually they hid underneath the cluster). I tried bundling them, but the only way I could do so was after creating a hidden cluster on the front panel and filling it with the same number of boolean controls as I've got override switches.
    Anybody got any suggestions?
    Kindest regards,
    Severin

    Severin,
You should be able to bundle the elements without creating a dummy cluster. You cannot use Bundle by Name without a control (or indicator), however.
One possibility, if you need a cluster, is to make a cluster which is bigger than your front panel. Make the background transparent or the same color as the panel. The problem with this is how you handle other controls or indicators which are not part of the cluster. You could put them behnid the transparent cluster, but then you cannot operate the controls and panel updates are slowed considerably by overlapping front panel objects. You may be able to slide them in front of the cluster without embedding them into the cluster by placing them on the panel outside the cluster and using the keyboard arrows to move them. This works for some things; I have not tried it with clusters. You still have overlapping objects.

  • How can i take a picture of a website on my mac?

I would like to take a picture of my website. How can I do this?

Safari runs better without extensions or add-ons so I avoid them as much as possible. These are the keyboard shortcuts built into Mac OS:
SHIFT COMMAND 3 captures the entire screen
SHIFT COMMAND 4 brings up a cropping cursor to let you select a portion of the screen
Example of the second one's results:
Screenshots save to the desktop as .png files and can be opened with Preview (by default) or with any other photo-editing software.

  • How can I take folder pictures off my mother's iPad?

My mother has an iPad 2 and I sent her up with folders on my Dad's computer so we could file grandkids' pictures and then sync them to the iPad. Everything was fine until my Dad deleted the folder of pictures from his computer (don't ask!). Now, when I sync the iPad, the pictures don't sync back to the computer. When I open the iPad as a hard drive and look in the photo file, there is nothing there but Camera Roll photos.  What can I do to retrieve my Mom's pictures? She's ready to divorce my Dad over this!

I'm assuming there is no backup of the computer files. Is the computer a Mac or PC? The photo files are still on the computer's hard drive, but since they were deleted the Finder can't find them. You need to use a file recovery program like DataRescue http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10259/data-rescue
Another important point. You need to quit using the computer until you run the file recovery program, since if you save new files the area of the hard drive where the photos are will be overwritten. The photos are gone unless you use a file recovery program. There are companies that do data recovery, but it's usually expensive.

  • How can I use One Plugin with all his outputs on the region

    Hi All
In Cubase I have a PlugIn Manager and when I have a Plugin like Omnisphere with 8 outputs I can route each output on one sequencer region.
Can I do This as same in Logic?
    Exemple
I will open a new Midi Instrument on a region. Than I Know I have 8 outputs and than I will have 8 Lines and each line I will create Midi comandos for each output separatly.
can I do this? Or any Idee how can I do this?
    Thanks for help
    Marco

When you load a plug-in that's capable of multi-output, you do have a menu choice about that when you load it, yeah ?
You can create the additional channels that you need in the mixer - press the '+' button on the channel strip and it does it for you.

  • In AS3 how can you detect if someone pulls their camera out of the USB port?

In AS3 if the SWF gets a hold of someone's camera successfully and they start streaming video across and everything, but then mid-stream, either they accidentally wiggle their camera out of the USB port, or the camera just sort of breaks down, or something else like that, how could you detect it from that user's side?  I've tried using event listeners and also polling different variables every five seconds, but neither has worked; none of the public properties of Camera or its events seem to act funny at all when something like that happens.  And apparently you can't just keep scanning the computer for devices (for good reason, I guess).
Is there something I'm missing here?  Is there a way to detect from a user's copy of a SWF (FP or AIR, but much more importantly FP) when their camera has effectively stopped as the result of something going wrong, such as them wiggling it out of the computer by mistake?  If so how?  Thanks!

Run your code and disconnect your camera. What are the common properties of it? Does your stream stop? Return only a specific color frame? Those things are usable to detect it but you're right in saying you can't detect much more than a loss of packets from a NetStream object.

  • How can i take my pictures from my photo album and put them onto my computer without losing anything?

Ok so my computer crashed and i had to restore my computer to factory settings so i took all my pictures off my computer and put them on my phone well i fixed my computer so now i wanna put the pictures back on my computer is there a way i can do it without having to email each pictures to myself?

The picture sync is ONE-WAY -  computer to iphone.  Iphone is not a storage device or a backup device.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Use your backup copy to put the pics back.
When you sync pics from your computer to your iphone they are reduced in resolution.  They will never be of the original resolution, but you can e-mail them to yourself.

  • How can I take a picture on iPhone and instantly transfer to a Windows computer

I need the ability to transfer a just taken picture by an iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad wirelessly to a Windows computer UNC path or a share?
I would prefer an off the shelf solution including a paid one. Does that exist?
I don't want the user to have to do any other action (plugging in, lengthy logging on etc.)
If no off the shelf solution exists, what is the best approach for writing a custom solution?
    Thanks for any pointers.

If a cloud based solution is out of the question you will have to roll your own.
    BTW if
the pictures are trade secret and cannot go out of the building onto a public network or cloud
how would email fit into this then even if it could be automated?
