How can I use VBA in Outlook to "Save as pdf"???

I want to create a macro in Outlook 2010 that will create a pdf file of the open email... using the "Save as pdf" command. How can this be done?
I have looked all over the internet, and have not found a simple answer...
Please can someone help me.

There is only one documented and supported way to create PDF files from a
VBA application, and that is via the Adobe PDF printer. You can set the
output filename programatically as I described. Anything else that you may
be able to discover in the type library is not meant for you to use. Adobe
can (and has in the past) changed these internal interfaces without notice,
so even if you could make something work, it would be a dangerous way of
implementing things. Any small update to your Acrobat installation would
put your software at risk.
I understand that sometimes this is frustrating because we think that
"there must be an easy way to do xyz"... Try to come up with a different
way of doing things.

    I'm trying to use Firefox 10.0.5 on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which is running Ice Cream Sandwich. My problem is I can't get to any of the menu functions, escpecially the 'save as pdf' because there is no menu key. I can't get the tablet version because it's a 7" tablet. I have tried the Beta (14) but it doesn't have a cookie manager like 10 does. Anything I can do ?

    I have one particular site that happens to be a bank. It will not let me get the full desktop view, only mobile. Even with the phony addon that makes it think it's the desktop version of firefox. I'm assuming it's because it set a cookie but my only choice in v14 is to clear all cookies and passwords and I don't want to do that. There are cookie managers in v10 that let you delete certain cookies as oppossed to all cookies.

    Although it is for windows 7 it does work on 8 and 8.1 .. tell us if you have problems loading it. Some people find it won't work without using safe mode.
    The utility will not help a lot to setup the latest model TC.. it is fine for Gen4 and earlier. But it does load bonjour for windows and a disk access agent.
    The TC should run simple names.. Short.. keep them below 10 characters if you can. No spaces and pure alphanumeric.
    That includes the base station name and wireless name.
    Once all of that is correct, open windows explorer and type in the address bar.
    \\TCname or \\TCipaddress where you replace TCname with the new short name or TCipaddress with obviously its actual IP.
    You will then get a request for username and password. Username is whatever.. admin will do. Password type in your disk access password.. public by default.
    TC is not designed to allow partitions so you cannot partition the TC disk. Create a folder and simply copy and paste your files to the folder.
    NOTE:: The TC cannot back itself up. So make sure you do not move files to the TC without having another copy.
    NOTE:: The TC does not happily mix TM backups and data.

    I'm having trouble building a Workflow to open and save Word docs with links.
    My Workflow so far:
    1. Get Finder items
    2. Copy Finder items (to new folder)
    3. Rename selected items
    4. Open selected items (Word docs)
    Three problems occur.
    The first is a Word 2004 problem -- I can't get the warning "This document has links in it; do you want to open it with/without updating the links" to go away (Unilke the Macro warning toggle capability, there is nothing in the Preferences for Word 2004 that addresses the links warning, as far as I can tell; any insight you can shed on this would be terrific.)
    The second problem happens with Automator: if I manually accept the update of the first document's links, Automator opens that document but then halts completely, even though I've instructed it to open multiple documents.
    The third problem I have is that there's no Finder action in Automator that allows me to save the document that's now open (as far as I can see).
    Any suggestions for how to fix? If I can get this to work, and scheduled in iCal, it will be an unbelievable time saver.

    These will rely on GUI Scripting. So first you need to activate GUI Scripting.
    Now we need to add in a Run AppleScript action to the end of your workflow...

    The above script should open each Word Document, press a button in the dialog box then do a save and then close the doc...then loop through the rest of them.
    You need to replace the name Text Wrangler with Microsoft Word (or whatever it is called!), I don't have it on my Mac.
    You will have to let me know what button needs pressing in the first dialog, if it isn't the 'highlighted ' one then we will have to amend the script...

    Our users have scanned pdf files they want to be able to search using ctrl-f.  I got them to be searchable by doing a recognize text using ocr with Acrobat Professional vesion 8.  They want to know if they can make the files searchable with Acrobat Reader only or if they need the full Acrobat Professional software to make the files searchable.

    To clarify a bit they need to have Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader. Reader has not been associated with the Acrobat name for 3 or more versions. The process you are asking about is a creation process - the purpose of Acrobat - and NOT a reading feature.

    Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

    What aspect of Microsoft Office? Office is a suite of programs... Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
    You've got several potential options. Libre Office and Open Office (both googleable) are 'open source,' free, downloadable programmes that will open most MS Office programmes and perform many of the functions of MS Office. Might be an idea to have a look round for reviews (etc) first, to see if they sound like they'll match your needs.
    If you're keen to use the App Store, there's Apple's own suite of programmes: Pages, Numbers and Keynote. They're a word processor, spreadsheet programme, and presentation-type programme with similar functions to Word, Excel and Powerpoint respectively. They're pretty good for most functions, and are better integrated with Macs than MS programmes. They're excellent programmes for what they do, and relatively cheap (about £14 each?).
    But if you're heavily reliant on MS, want ALL the bells and whistles of MS, or need to regularly transfer files between MS programmes on other computers and your laptop / desktop computer, then they might not be the best of ideas. Keynote - IME - can have some difficulties in transferring formatting to Powerpoint.
    Finally, there's MS Office Mac 2011. You can't download MS Office from the App Store, but can order the CDs from most online stores (including Apple's own store). It might be worth price hunting - if you're a student, you can usually find the programmes relatively cheap (£38 at the moment on Software4Students, though you'll need to belong to an academic institution / have a UK .ac email address). Apple's own prices on MS software are unlikely to be the best prices out there (though the product will be identical).
    MS Office includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint in the basic version. The slightly more expensive version (which, I think, is the £38 one on S4S) includes Outlook. Which - IME - is far more of a nuisance than Apple's native Mail programme.
    (I should probably add - I'm an academic. I own both Apple's own programmes, and MS Office 2011. I tend to use the MS programmes more, if only because they're the ones that other people tend to use, and transferring between Apple and MS programmes is a minor inconvenience. Pages also lacks Garamond, my favourite work font. The Apple progs are, however, far more beautifully integrated, and would be MORE than good enough for most users...)

I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times.     I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks

    If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.

    The Pages app is also compatible with MS Word. Unlike some of the others mentioned, the document is actually stored on the iPad as opposed to 'the clouds'. Again, most of those mentioned are cut down versions of MS Word.
    Stand back and look at this constructively; do you need to regularly access to the document from more than one computer/device without the need to keep amending your document on your computer and sending it to your iPad? If so, Documente to Go etc may be the best choice.
