How can I use ViewObject in Reusable Validation Rule ?

I read chapter 9.6.1 of ADF Developer Guide 4GL, "Creating View Objects at Runtime for Validation". In our system there is a validation that can use ViewObject, e.g :
SUM of outstanding AR cannot exceed the Credit Limit of the Customer.
This rule must be applied to more than one entity :
- During Order data entries
- During Invoice Creation
- ..and some more..
So I think about create a Reusable Validation Rule
(Like Steve recommends on : http://radio.weblogs.com/0118231/stories/2005/07/21/recommendedValidationStrategies.html. => DateRangeRule.Java )
And within this Reusable Validation Rule, I use View Object to do SQL based validation as explained on chapter 9.6.1 above.
How can I do that ?

The ADF Toy Store Demo 10.1.2 version contains a reusable rule that uses view objects. If you google for "ADF Toy Store Demo 10.1.2" you will find it. Its a validation rule in the FwkExtensions project in that demo that validates state abbreviations for a country code.

User Variable Options: How can I use them in a Business Rule?

How can I use a "User Variable" set in File / Preferences in a Business Rule? It doesn't seem to appear as an Essbase Substitution Variable or as a Global Variable of Business Rules. The only way I know how to use it is to place the dimension on the POV or Page dimension of a data form, then use a Global Variable in a run time prompt to pick the member and run a BR against it, or some function of it.
What do I do if I want to have that dimension in Columns or Rows? How can I set a BR to directly reference the member chosen under User Variable Options?

Thanks Alp, but I can't seem to reproduce what you are writing below. I want to refer my Business Rule to address the value set in File / Preferences / User Variable Options; no matter what members I show elsewhere in the data form.
My other workaround is through a run time prompt and hope the user selects the appropriate user variable at the very bottom of the selection list in order to calculate the appropriate list of members.

It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.

Oh thank god i am not the only one with this problem. It started with me on Saturday (aug 28) and still, no solution.
I live in the border with the USA so i’ve been using my itunes account with a USA debit card and then it started with that **** declined CC problem =S
The funny thing is that i’ve been trying to change countries, setting my account to Mexico and it would still say that the CC are declined. Tried 2 USA cards and 2 Mexican cards, no results =S
Wanna read something funny. I even tried to create a brand new account based in Mexico, with another email address and it still wouldn’t let me, tells me my cards are not valid……..the **** apple!!! i cannot update any app and i just got my iphone 4 on friday last week and i am dying to try new apps.

I live half a year in Germany and half a year in California. How can I use my different Apple ID's to buy in Germany from the US-iTunes shop and in the U.S. from the German shop. Reason: the shops have different offers. Some booksare not available in the German shop and some are not available in the U.S. shop.
For a person, who lives in both countries the restrictions makes absolutely no sense.

For starters, there's probably not many people who have dual national residencies so I'm guessing it's not a priority with Apple. The solution according to the store terms of use regarding your physical location, credit card billing address, nation of store, is when you are physically present in Germany you should be making purchases from the German store with a credit card billed to an address in Germany. When in the USA you buy from the US store with a credit card billed to a USA address. You're not supposed to use a store in another country when not actually present in that country even if you have a valid account there.

(for sales order item) as target fields of derivation step 'enhancement'
you have to modify the coding of subroutine EXIT GET_ALLOWED_TARGETS

Actually sales order number and sales order item shouldn't be changed
by derivation (therefore they are no valid target fields in standard)
but if you need to fill them within an enhancement this modification
will help you to define them as valid target fields. But this is just
the technical frame so far; the logic from which table you'd like to
derive the sales order number correctly depends on your implementation
of the enhancement! I just want to ask you to be rather careful with
the implementation of the exit so that the sales order number isn't
changed in cases that shouldn't be concerned.

You will need to set up an account in the US iTunes Store to use that card, for which you will need a valid US mailing address. Note that the Terms of Use for the iTunes Store state that you will not attempt to use the US iTunes Store from any other country, so you will not be able to buy new items or re-download previously purchased ones from the US without violating those terms. So you may want to reconsider your purchase and perhaps return the iTunes card or sell it to someone who lives in the US.

Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times. I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. If you are just visiting Singapore, then leave the account as it is. If you have moved there, then view your account using the iTunes app on a Mac or PC and change the country/region to your current location and address. If you do not have a bank card, you can fund your account using iTunes gift cards if available in Singapore.
