How can we add user defined fields in My Account Profile?

Hi,
When adding new field for user,user groups,my resource,organizations and request all exist in the drop down menu list but the MyAccount(In the page where we add user defined fields).
Please help me to add user defined field in MyAccount also.

As I said before it is not that straight forward.If you will decompile tcViewProfileAction .class using any java decompiler you will find out that data in setAccountProfile method is not getting set through formmetadata.xml . If you are well verse with struts then only you can achieve what you are trying to do.You need to extend tcViewProfileAction class and also tcViewProfileForm class and then you need to modify tjspViewProfileTiles.jsp .It will not be easy job.Usually in implementation we do not change action class until its absolutely required as oracle also do not recommend that so now its between you and your client to make a call if they want to go for such customization.I won't recommend you do that.

You absolutely right, TimesTen doesnt support object types (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13085_01/doc/timesten.1121/e13076/plsqldiffs.htm) and User-Defined Aggregate Functions.
Is it crucial for your application? Could you rewrite this functionality by using standart SQL or PL/SQL?

how can i add STORAGE LOCATION field which is not in the standard tables namely
KOMP, KOMK, and KOMG.
how to include it in our FIELDS FROM FIELD CATALOGUE.

we are selling our products in two ways
(1). one is straight from factory ie direct sales from factory
if customer asks for excise invoice then we will sell thru factory and keeping freight in mind we will
deliver him which ever is economical either rail or road.
before coming to second case of selling the goods
we will do STOCK TRANSPORT ORDER from plant to different storage locations.
if we did STO thru road we have to sell the goods thru road only.
if we did STO thru rail we have to sell the goods thru rail route only.
(2). if the customer is not asking any excise invoice then we will send the goods thru depo/storage
location which is not registered under excise.
if the goods came by road then it will be delivered by road only.
if the goods came by rail then it will be delivered by rail only.
my logic here is
basing on the
storage location, transportation types, and distance i want to create condition record
that captures exact frieght at the sales order level.
confirm whether i am right or wrong.

Hi,
It is not recommended to add new fields to any SAP standard tables. It disturbs the whole SAP functionality.
But if you have no choice expcept to change the standard tables to meet your requirement - then you need an access key to modify the object, which is available from the market place.
Nevertheless, the better option is to create a 'Z' table with the required fields and use that accordingly.
Changing standard tables will have serious impact when you apply patches or do an upgrade on the existing functionality.

Add User Defined Field (Landed Costs Window)

Hello All!
Somebody can help us on this, we wonder if someone can tell us how can we add a user defined field in the Landed Costs Windows -> Fixed Costs TAB place.
We were unable to add this field, and now we're thinking that's impossible through the USER DEFINE FIELD function, there's not reference about Fixed Costs TAB in this tool, but if someone knows the 'how to', please help us.

I am afraid you could not do that. User defined field is not be added into landed cost. Landed cost seems like process external bank statement. I have ever asked to SAP support about this (how to add UDF in process external bank statement) and they said it could be done using add-on. You have developed add-on to do that (DI/UI or UI API only).

Can i create user-defined fields that are checkboxes?

I need to create a set of user defined fields on Activities that are a checkboxes. I cant see any options in the manage user fields dialog to set the field as a checkbox, the only options are alphanumeric, Datetime, Units & Totals etc.
Can user defined fields be added that appear as checkboxes? if so, how do i do it?

What you need will not be available by UDF. You need SDK programming for any Check Boxes. However, you may use predefined list for UDF to imitate part of functions of the check box.

Plug it in and upload your music.
You don't need to have two separate accounts for iTunes on one computer, me and my 3 roomates all share the same computer and iTunes library. Separating them only causes headaches.
If you really want to though, if your on a windows computer you can create another user for the computer by going to my computer and add a user, then once in the new user download iTunes and upload music. One thing to remember with this however the iPod and iTunes does not support fast user switching (meaning when switching users in windows instead of logging out, just going to switch profile.)

Now I am trying to add serial number in my apple support profile but I found this error " According to our records, this serial number is associated to another Apple ID. If you have more than one Apple ID, log in to My Support Profile with that Apple ID to see your other products. Not sure if you have another Apple ID? ". so what should i need to do in this respect? further I have original seller purchased invoice (not apple original invoice) and I have proof of purchased thought paypal statement/invoice. I want to extend fields for an extractor, and the additional fields come from a third table (for the extractor, there is a view which 2 Tabels inner join.) The third table should have LEFT OUTER JOIN relation to the other 2 tables. So I have to use "User Exist" to add the fields from the third table to my data source.
How can I do it via user exist?

I have 3 unions and each query displays different records on some criteria. I also have a column hard-coded
Ex:
select a.col1, a.col2,
add as update
from table1 a
where ...
union
select a.col1, a.col2,
change as update
from table1 a
where ...

select a.col1, a.col2,
del as update
from table1 a
where ...
And I need to display a column in the report only if update is Add. I was thinking of writing a format trigger for that field. But I do not know how can I access this user defined column named update in the trigger?

Try ":update" minus the double-quotes. Ex:

You'll want to place your hard-coded values in single-quotes. Ex:
