How can write string in jsp on beans..

Hello.
My English ability very poor sorry....
I am developing jsp using beans..
I want to see value on beans....
but I can't see....
I want to check my values...
plz help me....
how can I view my String , int... on the beans....

Write a "getter" method for each variable you want to be able to read in the JSP.
example:
public class yourBean
// ... some code, contructor, etc...
private String yourVariable;
public void setYourVariable(String s)
yourVariable = s ;
public String getYourVariable()
return yourVariable ;
You can retrieve the value in your jsp with any of these ways:
1) use the <jsp:getProperty> tag
2) <%= yourBean.getYourVariable() %>
3) <% String s = yourBean.getYourVariable() %>
}

              Thanks Deepak but I think you don´t understand me.
              I would like the include works like a normal include. I have a jsp in my application

  • How can i catch the jsp checking event ?

    As we know, there are three parameters which is about checking in the weblogic.xml, pageCheckSeconds,*servlet-reload-check-secs*,*resource-reload-check-secs*, but how can i catch the checking event when the webapp is active.
    The fellowing is my simple test, i deployed a webapp on a weblogic server instance, and it was actived. I wrote a simple bash shell to try to catch the event, but fail. i througnt it may be dependent on the webapp's stage mode. but i change the mode, and try again, it was fail too.

  • How can I include a JSP, Maximized, and retain look and feel(WSRP)

    I have created a page group and defined a root page with a certain look and feel. There are two portlets on the page. Once the user clicks on a submit button, the portlet performs some action and includes a jsp included in the EAR file. The portlet needs to maximize the UI to display the jsp correctly.
    Once control returns back to the screen, the look and feel is lost and uses Oracle's default style. I have two questions:
    1. From the portlet, how can I retain the look and feel of the page group when referencing "external" jsp (i.e JSPs in the deployed portal EAR file).
    2. How can I "redirect" the user to the home page in a standard way? If there is not a standard way, how do I use the Oracle specific utilities to do it?
    All of my JSPs are developed externally out of the scope of the Oracle Portal.
    Environment - Oracle Portal 10.1.4 on Release 2 using WSRP to contact Oracle Release 3, hosted EAR file (WSRP Producer).
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi José,
    I don't think that is possible. But you can import the css files that ep uses for its look and feel and try to give your web pages similar look and feel. The tables and other controls used in EP are totally different and are done through complex JavaScript coding instead of simple HTML tags. If you want exact lok and feel then i thin you must go for a Webdynpro based application rather then a J2EE application with JSPs.

    Guru.

  • How can I create a stateful session bean?

    I created a stateless session bean. Now I want to make it be a stateful session bean. How can I do? Where can I find a session bean sample?

    Look at this site. The tutorial explains it all.
    Well if you want to convert your stateless EJB to stateful, all you have to do is change the deployment descriptor and re-deploy the ejb. You should be ready to go.
    All the best.

  • How can I change between JSP and Java in the page language attribute

    Does any one know the answer to this? I am trying to Switch between the 2 in the middle of the page. I want to include a file that uses <%@ page language = "JAVA" %> but the main mage uses Java Script. How can I switch it for this one file. I can't find the answer anywhere. Thanks for your time, and please help me. Also can some one post a good link for Session Tracking. I can't find much good information on that. Thanks again.
    Eagles757(JAY)

    Wow this didn't make sense in so many ways. It's truly bordering on nonsense. I think it's written in English.
    <%@ page language="Java" %>This is optional. JSPs don't use any language other than Java. This is known as a JSP Directive. This line will be processed by the JSP/Servlet engine, and you won't see it in your output. If JSP ever supported a language other than Java, this would be where you would change it.
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    // -->
    </script>You can include a block like this in your JSP file. The JSP/Servlet engine will not process this script block at all (unless you include JSP <% %> tags somewhere in there, in which case they will be processed before the response is sent back to the web browser). This script block is where JavaScript goes. This code will be executed on the client's browser.
    This is about as clear as I can make things given how muddled your question is. Please ensure you understand the basic differences between JSP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Servlet engine, web browser before proceeding. Understand what code executes where, and in what order.

    I used a different method...
    I used servicegen with only a.jar to create the ear.
    I touch-ed my own application.xml to make it newer than the one already in the
    newly created ear.
    I used the ant <ear> task to add b.jar, c.jar, and application.xml to the ear.
    Worked like a charm.

  • How can write select statement inside case operator

    Hi all,
    I like to write a query which get result from other table in case operator.
    e.g
    select a,b,c from dual
    where a=1
    and b=case when b is null then "select any value from other table" else null end;
    Please help me to write this query.
    Thanks

    sorry, but thats funny.
    You ask for case with subquery and choosed a solution with decode as correct.
    Furthermore, the solution proposed might not be so useful.
    First of all many people prefer case over decode, because of understandability and readability of the code (toad has this as a coding rule built in too)
    Secondly in this case the decode does nothing. Take a closer look:
    select a,b,c from tableA a
    where a.a = 1
    and a.b =(select decode(a.b,null,( select 1 from tableB b where rownum = 1 ),a.b) from dual)the decode chooses the subselect if a.b is null. But if a.b is null the a.b on the left side is null also, so the predicate will never be true.
    aside from this, you can write this shorter as
    a.b=nvl(a.b,(select 1 from tableB b where rownum = 1))so what will work in such a case might be
    ANEXPRESSION(Literal, scalar subquery, ...) =nvl(a.b,(select 1 from tableB b where rownum = 1))otherwise look for a solution with case ;-)

    chiranjit

    No can do. JSPs can only output plain HTML (and javascript...) They are not used like normal Java classes.
    If you need a complex GUI then you might use an Applet instead. If you want to use a JSP then you are stuck using normal HTML components, like <table> <form...> <input type="text"> etc...
