How can you create a contact sheet that you can email?

I see that you can print a contact sheet but how can you make a contact sheet that you can email where receiver can open the thumbnails and view?

Hi,
You can either use Bridge and the Output workspace, or grab optional plug-ins for CS5 and run Ps on OSX in the 32 bit mode. (Or grab the excellent 3rd party script, Contact Sheet X, and run that in Ps. http://ps-scripts.sourceforge.net/ContactSheetX/csx.html).

  • How can I create a contact sheet?

    I've got 32 PSD files of a customers paintings that we use to make greeting cards. She just turned 100 last week and her daughter in law came in to pick some up and asked if we could make a sheet with small versions of the paintings on them with the file names so that she can remember them. She thought we only had 5. I told her we have more like 30. So the old lady doesn't know what we do and don't have here.
    Since they are Photoshop files, I can't just toss em into iPhoto to create a contact sheet. I guess I could do a batch convert to JPG on all of them and then drop those into iPhoto but is there a way to do this within Photoshop? just open up all 32 PSD files and create some sort of a contact sheet with file names under each image? Maybe 6 to a page?

  • [O365] [EWSMA 2.0] [C#] [Windows] How do you create a contact folder that resides under the "My Contacts" node in OWA for O365

    In OWA for Office 365 you can create a contact folder that resides under the "My Contacts" node on "Peoples" tab. This folder ends up appearing under the "Contacts" folder in the exchange store. However, if you attempt to create
    a contact folder under "My Contacts" using Outlook it ends up under "Other Contacts" node in OWA for O365. Even if you attempt to position folder at the root of exchange store it still places it under the "Other Contacts" folder.
    The same is also true if you attempt to create a folder using EWS. Is there a way to create a folder using EWS that will appear under the "My Contacts" node in OWA for O365? I've tried the following with no luck:
    ContactsFolder myContactsFolder = new ContactsFolder(EwsService);
    myContactsFolder.DisplayName = "My contacts folder";
    // Set other properties
    myContactsFolder.Save(WellKnownFolderName.Contacts);
    and
    ContactsFolder myContactsFolder = newContactsFolder(EwsService);
    myContactsFolder.DisplayName = "My contacts folder";
    // Set other properties
    myContactsFolder.Save(WellKnownFolderName.MsgFolderRoot);

    Hi Tony,
    Lots of questions, here goes:
    CAN YOU: Yes.  You can create multiple server nodes.  You can add a server node by going into the Visual Administrator and clicking the add node button.  Make sure you have the required space on the physical drive to accomodate the space needed for the new node (hint: check the space of your existing node).
    PERFORMANCE: Yes, maybe.  If you are running on a 32bit OS, yes, this will definitely improve your performance as you are most likely memory constrained at the moment.  If you are running on an x64 or 64bit OS, you will find that performance will improve but only to the extent that you have memory free and that you have available CPU for the new node.  Remember Java processes are CPU hogs at times, especially during startup, and the more of them you have, the more CPU you need.  Also, watch out for garbage collections.  Be sure to tune your instance to with incrementals and fulls in mind.  Another benefit of multiple nodes is the HA you get by default when you add more than 1 node.  Now if 1 node should crash or restart, your portal is still running and accessible on the other node.
    PARAMETERS: Yes and no.  For java startup parameters, you can create a template under the global --> servers to have your parameters be all the same  When you create a node, those parameters will be used.   But, your currently configured child configuration parameters will not be reflected in the new instance since those parameters are taken from the global (parent).  This is what the global is for and you should consider adjusting the global if you want your child nodes to have consistant values.
    Let me know if you have more questions.

  • How do I create a contact form that will work with Godaddy???

    hello,
    Godaddy hosts my website and i can not get any type of contact form to work! When I publish to my .mac account it works fine, using the HTML snippet, however when I publish the exact same file to the Godaddy server it doesn't even show up. Anyone have any idea how I can resolve this? should i change hosting companies?? godaddy says that it is not there issue...

    One reason why it would not show is if not all your files have been uploaded. How are you uploading?
    If you are using Cyberduck or Transmit, you can actually check that the relevant files have been uploaded to the server. If uploading that page with the form on it, then ensure that you upload both the html page, plus the files folder that goes with it.
    Are you using Windows or Linux hosting? Linux hosting is preferable for iWeb.
    If you use GoDaddy they have facilities for you to use FormMail, so you can upload this directly to your hosting space and then create your own form using html code in an html snippet and then upload. You have more options if you do it this way and you have more control. If you use a third party such as Wufoo, everything is stored on their servers and if their servers go down for any reason you have not workable form.

  • Can I print a contact sheet that includes the caption for each photo using Photoshop Elements 13 for Mac. I previously used Photoshop Elements 6 for the PC and could do this.

    I just switched to a Mac and installed Photoshop Elements 13. I previously worked with many years with Photoshop Elements 6 on a PC where I used the contact sheet function -- with each's photo's caption included -- to print print a collection of 400+ member photos for a club I belong to. This worked beautifully. I assumed I'd still have this ability with my new software, but can't figure out how to do it. Help.

    Try using psd.  Some rerports indicate some confustion between the apps with TIFF.  See:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/15921933#15921933
    I cannot confirm, nor test, since I use PS CS5, and not Elements.

  • How do i create a form so that it can be saved once filled

    I am trying to figure if there is some way that after I have created my form if someone would be able to fill it out the information and then save there information instead of only being able to just print or email it.
    thanks
    A.K.

    I'm also researching how to create fillable forms and have users at 22 locations fill them out, save the filled form locally, send the filled in (but still editable) forms as an email attachment to the Corp office for revisions and then have the Corp office lock, or flatten, the form so it's no longer editable, to the originating location to be printed/posted/filed.
    Acrobat Pro 7 can do the creation of the fillable forms I need. It includes LiveCycle Designer 7. But, it appears I need LiveCycle Reader Extensions to allow users to fill in and save the form locally with Adobe Reader. I can, however, find no price info for LC Reader Extensions on the Adobe site...and no reference as to whether Reader Extensions is an included module in LiveCycle Designer 7.
    If LC Reader Extensions isn't included in Acrobat Pro 7's LiveCycle Designer 7...and if it's separate costs are too steep (which some forum posts refer too), I'm thinking I can go with something like CutePDF's FormFiller which can fill out and save completed fillable PDF forms locally. I'd rather make use the "free" Adobe Reader, but $29 bucks times 22 locations isn't that bad.
    Does anybody know if LiveCycle Reader Extensions is included in LiveCycle Designer 7?...anybody know the cost?...any other form filling/saving options besides FormFiller?

    I apologize my dreamweaver skills are a bit rusty to say the

    Find the DW executable file (in the Program Files/Macromedia

  • How to create a Contact Sheet with Adobe Photoshop CS5 from a disc with images in different folders

    I got a disc with images files (mainly ai and psd files) in different folders and subfolders, how can I create a contact sheet including all the image files in different folders. (It seems that Adobe Bridge can only create a contact sheet by clicking the image files directly but not a folder including the images files)
    thx!

    Use the optional Contact Sheet II plugin which is found in Adobe's Downloads:
    1) search for contact sheet in PS CS5 help
    2) choose the first result and read carefully about the Photoshop Optional Plug-In Picture Packager
    3) follow the instructions to download the zip file and note the location that you download it to.
    4) follow the instructions to install the files.
    I'm not sure how PS CS5 will handle ai vector image files or if you have to batch convert them to raster images first before using Contact Sheet II.  Contact Sheet II allows you to choose a folder and Include All SubFolders as an option so you could create a Contact Sheet folder and copy all of your desired folders into that folder which will become subfolders of the main folder you choose for your contact sheet.

  • How do I create a new Style that can be applied to an object?

    Under the Assets menu there is a tab called “Styles”.  My question is how do I create a new Style that I can apply to an object???  A link to a tutorial or something like that would be useful because I can’t find anything!!!    Thanks in advance for helping me eliminate this frustration!!!

    KomputerMan.com wrote:
    What I want to do is create a library of styles that are basically pictures of various wood types.
    There are a couple of approaches you could try.
    Clipping paths
    1. Draw the part shape as a closed path.
    2. Position the image of woodgrain above or below the shape where you want it positioned.
    3. Cut
    4. Select the closed path.
    5. Paste Inside.
    See: Using FreeHand MX > Contents > Working with Objects > Working with clipping paths
    Tiled fills
    1. Use autotrace to trace the image of the woodgrain, using plenty of colors.
    Using FreeHand MX > Contents > Using Imported Artwork > Tracing bitmaps > Tracing an image
    2. Group the traced paths (but not the image) and create a tiled fill,
    Using FreeHand MX > Contents > Using Strokes and Fills > Applying attributes to fills > Using tiled fill attributes
    3. Make a style from a tile-filled object
    4. Apply the style to other objects.

  • Creating InDesign Contact Sheets

    I just upgraded to CS3 from CS2.
    I am trying to use Bridge to create InDesign contact sheets.
    The problem is when I am in Bridge CS3 and go to Tools > InDesign > Create InDesign Contact Sheets, I can not get Bridge CS3 to recognize photos in sub folders.
    Bridge CS2 had a "Files" button that would open a window that had a "Include Sub Folders" button. That button has been removed in Bridge CS3.
    Any ideas on how to tell Bridge CS3 to include sub folders when creating InDesign contact sheets.
    Thanks

    It can be a little convoluted from a logic perspective, but search for "filename does not equal" and, to find all files, set the value to something stupid like "#@#@#@#@"
    Check "Include All Subfolders". If there's any chance you haven't browsed all of the subfolders in bridge (to build the caches for those subfolders), check the "Include Non-indexed Files (may be slow)" checkbox.
    I wrote the Contact Sheet script as a contractor for Adobe. I removed the "Files" button because Bridge actually does a much better job of filtering and finding files than the "Find" button ever could.
    The "Find" button encouraged people to not use Bridge to its best advantage. I got a number of emails from folks wanting more functionality in the "Find" button than was possible (via scripting) when everything they needed was available in Bridge!
    By the way, I am planning on releasing a updated and more feature-rich contact sheet (for InDesign) script in the coming weeks. Check my web site for it in mid-late October.

  • Creating a Contact Sheet in CS5

    Arrrrg!  Where did the contact sheet go in CS5?!  I found out how to make one in Bridge, but the output is a .pdf.  How can I create a contact sheet in PS as a .jpg?

    I believe the contact sheet II plugin only works in the 32 bit version of cs5,
    so you need to run the 32 bit version of photoshop and then the plugin(s)
    will be under File>Automate>Contact Sheet II.

  • Can Bridge output a contact sheet from nested folders?

    Can Bridge create a contact sheet of all images I have in a series of nested folders? Seems like there's a simple option missing to 'include all subfolders' option so I can maintain my folder structure for my file organization, but be able to get a grid of thumbnails of everything together... or consequently be able to create a contact sheet folder by folder automagically where each folder represents a new page in the pdf, allowing the option to insert the folder name as part of the header....
    anyone have suggestions? Am I missing something here....?

    or consequently be able to create a contact sheet folder by folder automagically where each folder represents a new page in the pdf, allowing the option to insert the folder name as part of the header....
    Each folder a new page can only be done manual or maybe if you could use ore write a very complicated script for this. You have to specify the columns and rows and therefore the amount of photo's on one sheet.
    As Curt pointed you already to the 'flat view' option this is to get all content of one main folder (but according to content amount and Output settings this may mean a lot of pages...
    You have two other options:
    1- Select each folder and create a contact sheet while giving it a proper name. When finished combine all the PDF files in to one large PDF file. You can do so in Acrobat Pro but if you Google on 'merge PDF in one File' there will be a lot of other free options to do so.
    2- Use a proper batch rename for the files to make each name unique. If you already have done so you could choose to add a number in front of the name to keep the natural sort order in the folder. You can use Batch rename for this under the menu tool and choose the option you like. Be aware that this renaming can't be undone in an easy way so if you want it just for this occasion first make a back up and then rename the files.

  • I have several issues that I hope you can help me out with. I am a professional photographer with a Mac with OS X 10.9.4: - I can only make ONE contact sheet in CS6 (from AUTOMATE) from pictures indicated in Bridge. If I want to make another contact sheet

    I have several issues that I hope you can help me out with. I am a professional photographer with a Mac with OS X 10.9.4:
    - I can only make ONE contact sheet in CS6 (from AUTOMATE) from pictures indicated in Bridge. If I want to make another contact sheet I need to shut down and restart CS6.
    - Camera RAW: if I change any setting in Camera RAW (except exposure), having first optimized the exposure, the exposure will automatically return to zero. Sometimes when I've set exposure and cropped the picture in Camera RAW Plug-In, the effects are lost just by opening the picture in CS6.
    - Sometimes if I crop a picture in Camera RAW, it may be impossible to open it again from Bridge!
    - I cannot do lens corrections in Camera RAW, at all. The Camera RAW comment is that "it cannot load the correct lens type". Why?

    Are you writing that when you select  a large number of images in the bridge  like a hundred thumbnails  when you then use Bridge menu Tools>Photoshop>Contact Sheet II that Photoshop only produces a single contact sheet for the first few thumbnails and fails to produce additional contact sheets for the other selected thumbnails? Photoshop contact sheet II script should create as many contact sheet as needed  for the numbers of thumbnails selected.  Perhaps the script is hung or you have exhausted  your machine resources.
    ACR Crop tool does not crop the RAW file it records crop settings to be used during the conversion process.    Camera RAW DATA is not altered.  The only changes made to RAW Files is ACR Metadata may be added.  Anything you do in ACR can be un-done in ACR.    If you can not open a RAW File in ACR the Files is either corrupt or from a new camera ACR does not support yet.  ACR should not corrupt RAW files.
    If you do not have a lens profile for ACR I think you should still be able to do lens correction manually in ACR.
    Some of what you write I don't follow could you post some screen captures of your problems often a picture helps.
