How could i store this

I am doing a university assignment for a fictional car company. Anyway, the scenario says there are 3 categories of viechles, with a number of cars in each.
small car: 3 renault clio's
family saloon: 3 vauxhall vectras
light van: 2 Renault traffic's.
I have to be able to print a report of these cars, and also hire them oiut to customers. So my question is, how do i track this information. I was at first, going to just define them as arrays with literal values, just to demonstrate how to do it. It is only our first assignment.
But i thought, maybe i could use a file. However, i would have to track the car, the type of car it is, and if it is hired out or not, and also, it's mileage.
Any suggestions how this could be done. Remember, it is only our first assignment, so nothing too crazy!

Normally, "I have some homework, how do I do it" does not fly here. You need to get started, and post when you have some specific problem that is hanging you up.
In this case, I suggest that you may want to first consider how you are going to encapsulate the data and behavior for each Car object in your program. This is done during the design phase of any project, simple or complex. Then, once you know how to represent a Car, then you can think about storing Car objects, perhaps in a Fleet object. MORE DESIGN! What is a Fleet? What can it do?
You are not just learning a programming language. You are learning how to design applications to solve problems. You have to start NOW.
You have one saving grace. You did not say URGENT in your question. However, your teacher, your book, and the online Java Tutorial are where you need to start. You have to do some up front work.

I had a similar occurrence with my just activated iPhone 4.
I had been using the phone for three days when an odd occurrence with voice mail caused me to call tech support. After some discussion they decided to push the activation to my phone (even though I had been using it for three days). When I went to power it back up again I repeatedly got the "no service" notification. I got tech support on a land line and we tried hard reboots and so on. No joy. They told me to take it in to the point of sale and either the SIM card or the phone needed (or both) needed replacing.
I tried one last hard reboot after dinner and the phone came up with service, but I took it in to the point of sale in the morning and they swapped the SIM card out and I went to a Genius Bar appointment to get the phone checked out. It is supposedly OK, but I am still having some problems when syncing it so I will have to visit the Genius Bar again tomorrow about that. At least I have not experienced the "no service" problem in the roughly 24 hours since the SIM card was replaced. (Fingers crossed)

Regarding your problem, Manu is right, there is not need to wrap around the parameter in quotes..

Check the iPhoto preferences:
From the main menu bar: iPhoto > Preferences > General:
"Connecting camera opens" : Set this option to "iPhoto".
If that does not help, disconnect your iPhone and reset your iPhone.

The utility app is an "assistant PKG installer." It allows Lion and Mountain Lion users to install the older QT MPEG-2 Playback Component installer PKG file which is not allowed to run on its own under Lion or Mountain Lion since these operating systems already have a QT X only MPEG-2 component embedded in the QT embedded structure. If you found a phone you should take it to the police. You don't have the right to hang onto it. If it's not claimed after a period then you may be able to retain it. But in any case if it is 'Activation Locked' only the original owner can unlock it. There is no way round this, and without being able to contact him (and if you could you should return it) the phone is permanently unusable if locked in this way.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

The wifi on my macbook pro (lion) is ridiculously slow. the wifi on my pc works perfectly though. how could i fix this?

So I recently bought my MacBook Pro, about three days ago, and the wifi connection is horrible. I can barely access anything on the internet. I tried using my PC laptop, and the wifi worked very quickly, so the problem definitely isn't my wifi connection and has to do something with the MacBook Pro. What would be the problem? And how would I be able to resolve this problem?
By the way, I am using the OS X Lion and this is my first Mac ever.

I think the other devices are fine. I'm not sure. It usually only happens like a couple days out of the week. I do know that the network I'm using when I click on the wifi symbol at the top of my screen doesn't have a padlock on it. It IS MY network that is at my house, but maybe that has something to do with it.

Looks similar to a smoke effect. But you can use a paint brush and paint your colored lines then use the Liquify tool on multiple layers (Filter / Liquify).

If you have the LabVIEW Operator Interace, you can place your TCP/IP Vi anywhere you want. Either at the beginning of the execution, when a particular sequence is running, when a user logs in, etc. Since you have the LV code, you can just add your TCP/IP as a subVI in the right place. You could also place a button in the front panel that will allow you to CONNECT/DISCONNECT by calling your VIs.

its actually connecting to flash media server remote shared
object as opposed to the local shared object. The code in question
was actually taken nearly word for word from the macromedia sample
file so I know that that portion is correct.
If I replace the shared object name from

everything works fine and the connection is succesful,
however since I hope to have many many rooms that is just not a

5. Keep separate cumulative sum of the decimal versions of the first and second number of each integer pair, and print that number below the appropriate column after all numbers have been read.

That's a little tough to believe. It's far more likely that you need some help on figuring out how to go about writing such an application. There's nothing wrong with that; just know that most folks who volunteer to help here aren't particularly interested in "proving their skills" by way of programming "challenges". They typically get far more satisfaction by helping others learn Java.
