Did you restore the iPhone? Did you update the iOS version?
Need a little more detail as to what you were doing when the
software disappeared.
Or are you asking how to return to a previous version of iOS?
If that is the real question, the answer is that you cannot.
There is no supported way to revert to an earlier version of iOS.

Who is everybody? All the millions who have downloaded and installed Mavericks? I don't see many of them here in these Troubleshooting Forums.

Well You haven't exactly given many details to try to solve whatever issues you are haveing. Complaining without details is not going to get much help.

How to get my old number back?

My number has been disconnected for over 10 months because I was out of the country. Now that I am back I would like to have my number back since I have had the number for 5-6 years. I have been told by verizon that the number is not in use, but it is aging. verizon won"t tell my how long this aging process is going to take nor are they willing to help in any way. I just don't see why I can"t have my phone number back if nobody is using it. is there no way to get my number out of this aging stage? Is there anything I can do to get it back?

It's great to hear that you are interested in starting service back up with Verizon. It's unfortunate that you had to leave us before but its great that you want to come back! In regards to obtaining your former number typically if you are reconnecting your service with in 30 days this is an easy process to complete. How long has it been since you canceled service with us? I look forward to your response and to working together to resolve your concerns.

As I said all music should reside in iTunes. iCloud only recently came out, before that you couldn't reload music. It's always important to maintain a local backup.
As the music in question was not purchased you can't load it from the iPod into iTunes if you hadn't been syncing as it will attempt to mirror the iTunes library and erase the iPod. You need 3rd party software to get unpurchased music onto the computer from an iPod

You don't... If you restore the backup, it will restore the restrictions passcode.
Do you have your contacts, calendar, etc, synced to your computer? I'm not asking if you backed up, I'm asking if you synced... In other words, if you open Outlook, or Windows Address Book (I'm assuming you use a PC) are your contacts there?
If you have not been syncing your contacts, etc, you may have to restore so that you can set up the sync, get the contact data off the phone, then set it up as a new phone again, do not restore the backup, and set up the sync with your address book.

The Yahoo toolbar may have been added by an extension or other (security) software on your computer.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Do you still have the old PC around? If so, you might be able to still copy the iTunes library from that PC over to the one.
Or is the music still on your Nano? If so, see this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your new PC and into iTunes.

Otherwise, you can redownload most iTunes purchases again at no cost using iCloud. If the music and content was imported from outside of iTunes you'll need to either re-rip the tracks into iTunes or redownload them using whatever utility or store you originally purchased them from.

Before losing those pics and during the syncing, I saw that iTunes were backing up my files. Question is, how do I get my old pictures back? =( Please help me. =(

Very sorry, but you cannot get them back from the phone or its backup. Photos synced from a computer _are not_ backed up as part of the iPhone backup process (only Camera Roll pics, those actually shot with the iPhone, are backed up). See this kbase article for info on what is and isn't backed up.
Hopefully, you have an existing backup of the pics on an external drive, etc., or some other way to get the pics back (originals on CDs, prints to scan, etc.). If the pics were still on the phone, 3rd party software could have been used to get them off (although at reduced quality, since pics synced to the phone are reduced to ~0.6 megapixel images).

The profile will automatically be added back again when you connect to the network again. Here, I assume that you have a check mark in the box next to Remember networks this computer has joined.
If the box is checked and the network does not appear, then there may be an operating system problem with your Mac.
That would be beyond the scope of what we handle here with the AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme or Time Capsule, so you would want to post in the appropriate operating system community to follow up on that.
