What is the best way to acces icloud from the iPhone 6 plus. Is there a app?
I'm wondering if there will be with the iOS 8.1 release on Monday. The iCloud drive P.R. on the main apple site shows what looks like app access the same way the DropBox app does.
For now, it seems that you can only access iWork documents through those apps.
What a shame....

Set up the new phone as a new iPhone (without using your backup), then update it to the latest iOS (7.1.2). Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup and follow the prompts. I am unable to access iCloud because my iPhone states that my Apple ID and\or password is incorrect. Based on Apple's own policy my current ID and P/W should be fine to access iCloud. Any suggestions?

Whenever I update my iPhone software, it asks me to sign in to iCloud with an old email address. My other devices all have the correct address. How can I get the correct address for my iPhone? The only Apple ID that works for logging in is my new one.
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

We both use the same iPad my father and I as of today, as is letting me use it too from now on (sweet! ), I do not want to make a mistake and accidently use my father's ID & passwords (dohh ), but each time the ID & Password pops up it ask for his (???), how can I access mine, so it's my account and financials being used. In order to reliably save the info and be able to restore at a later date, you would need to use his AppleID.
Switch to it on iTunes, back the iPad up and confirm the backup exists (Preferences / Devices), then switch to yours, wipe the iPad and start afresh. Will also wipe his apps, as they are tied to the AppleID as well. -

You don't need an AppleID to access an iTunes library. An iTunes library is stored on your computer.
Default location is /Music/iTunes/ folder. -

ThanksAre you talking about an iCloud backup? If so, no, an iCloud backup cannot be viewd, it can only be restored to another iOS device.

It sounds rather like you are only connected via your mobile signal - no data and no WiFi. Perhaps you might want to think about trying it again when you have better connections.

The phone answered this for me - when I connected the iPhone5 to my computer it gave me a choice which included "restore from backup". Problem solved

apple?If you are using IMAP mail connection (IMAP keeps the mail on the server), then you just configure the other computer's mail client to access the same account.
If you are using a POP mail connection, then the mail is generally downloaded to your Mac and deleted from the server. That is a much more difficult problem to solve. NOTE: Google's gmail does have a POP option that does NOT delete the mail on the server, so it is accessible via the gmail web page.
A lot depends on what you are using for your mail service and whether you are using IMAP or POP protocols.
