How do I add adobe reader to my printer so I can print a pdf?

Are you trying to print to a PDF from Adobe Reader?
If so, you need Acrobat for that. Reader doesn't not install a PDF printer.

  • I have Adobe Reader Version 11.0.03 and can't open PDFs.  Would appreciate some help.

I have Adobe Reader Version 11.0.03 on a new iMac OSX Version 10-8.4 and can't open PDFs.  Here's the message I get:  "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."   Any help would be appreciated!

What buttons do you get to click on with this message? What browser are you using (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer...)

  • I downloaded the recent Adobe reader to my Mac, but I can't open PDFs. They come up as blk screen.

    help

Safari 5 should open PDFs in the browser by default. The reader installation has probably changed that.
I'd recommend removing Reader using AppZapper.
It completely removes the app and all associated preference files.
I used it exclusively on my iMac and MacBook. You can download a trial version that works fully, but IMHO it's worth the $12.95 price to buy it.
Once it's gone Safari should open PDF in the browser window again.
If not, we'll look at your preferences.

How to convert an adobe reader file to word.doc

    Hi masharif,
To convert a PDF file to Word format, you need ExportPDF, or Acrobat. ExportPDF is an online service that converts PDF files to Word, Excel, and RTF format. If you're only interested in converting PDF files to the formats I've mentioned, then ExportPDF is the most economical option.

  • How do I add adobe flash player to my Ipad

How do I add adobe flash player to my Ipad

You can't, it's not supported on any iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Apps such as Skyfire claim to support flash, but their reviews are mixed. Some websites (especially news sites) have their own apps in the App Store, so you could check to see if your favourite(s) have apps.

  • How do I install Adobe REader? Their instructions for Firefox say to "Click on the 'Edit Options' button in the yellow bar at the top" but there is no yellow bar or 'Edit Options' button.

How do I download Adobe Reader 9 in Firefox? Their instructions say to begin by clicking on the 'Edit Options' button on the yellow bar at the top. I have no such bar or button on my Firefox start page.
    == This happened ==
    Just once or twice
    == About 1/2 hour ago.

The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.

  • How to Modifying the Adobe Reader Default Save Location

In Adobe Reader XI:  When I try to "Save As" a (.pdf) file [I was sent over the Internet] it automatically defaults to the Temporary Internet Files/Content.EI5/ (one of the many XYZABC folder).
This means I have to press in many buttons and mouse moves to hunt for Libraries/Documents/My Document Files Location.
I'd like to change that default folder to my own special folder (i.e.:  Libraries/Documents/My Documents.  How can I do this?
As an alternate, is there an easy way to get to "My Documents" directory in one (1) click so I can pick the sub-directory I what to "Save As" the .pdf file?

    Hi try76,
Per your request: my OS is Windows 7 Pro,
    the computer is a Dell 457T (i7 x64 w/ 8 Gb memory),
and The browser is Internet Explorer 11 (this may change to Foxfire).
I hope I can do as you mentioned and "OS you can add a direct link to the Documents folder to the Places Bar on the left side of the Save dialog."
Now I find the need for step-by-step instructions to do anything with computers - like a beginner.
It seemed that Adobe Reader used to be able to "Save As" *.pdf files easier.
As an aside:  I am an old guy, learned DOS and early Windows and was quite good at it and have forgotten much of it over the years.  Mostly because every time Microsoft has Upgraded their programs they take away parts I used and changed the menus so I can't find items I might want to use, as time went by I grew tired of re-learning how to use a program instead of being productive at work.
If your method of moving *.pdf files can be done with my OS and IE it will be greatly appreciative.
Thanks in advance to any answers you give.

  • How do i install adobe reader without installing products from google.

i dont like google, i dont like a bunch of worthless taskbars crowding my browser. so how do i install adobe reader without installing google products when you dont even give me the chance to say i dont want them?
It is unethical to force onto people products of any nature that they do not want. i do not want google products so by your installation for adobe reader automatically installing google products without my consent is unethical.

I don't understand the "forcing" part; the bundled software is clearly optional, and can be unchecked before the download.
Or using the download link that Michael provided earlier (which is posted at least a dozen times every day in this forum).

In your case select one of the "Use Adobe Acrobat" actions.

how do i install adobe reader on a flash drive?

I don't know if this will work; it will certainly not create a "portable" Adobe Reader.
But it may install on the flash driver, to be used only on the computer that installed it.
Download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
On the Reader setup panel, click on 'Change Destination Folder' and select your flash drive.
Let us know how that goes; I am curious...
