How do I add a signature to the bottom of the photo?
I have created a signature, but it centers in the photo and I need to just professionally sign my photos with small area to the bottom right of my pictures.   HELP!!

Hello, wecome to the forums! the easiest is to use the watermark panel that Russell Brown made: scroll down or search for Watermark on http://www.russellbrown.com/scripts.html
You will find a script, and a video that explains how to use it.
If you want to do it yourself, crate an action where you will use the layer>align>... Menu entries to place your signature where you want it.
    Hope this helps!

I hate having to add and address and then having to find the address and then add it to a group. thanks
no, there is no way to do that, sorry. you need to control-click on every email address one at a time and select "add to address book". if an email is in the address book already that option will not be there.

  • How to programmatically add rectangle to a pdf file ?

How to programmatically add rectangle to a pdf file ?
There is several page pdfs, non-vector, black and white.
Users are color blind and have disabilities.
To train them, one adds a rectangle at a certain lower-left point and width, height specified for a page.
The idea is to give the script the page and coordinates and size of rectangle to be added programmatically. Green rectangles are acceptable as the cones are most sensitive there.
Also, additional feature to add bookmarks on the left in the order these rectangle data is provided to the script.
The script could be "hard-wired" by a list of the rectangle coodinates, and page number, pasted inside acrobat and run or entered into acrobat in some way.
Your script would help many disabled people who are distributed through out the world.
Feel free to contact me by email if you wish.
    Dying Vets

    P.S.
This rectangle does not have to be a full annotation rectangle which needs user, date and a lot of info.
Something minimal like this would suffice
    1 0 0 RG % red for stroke color
    200 300 50 75 re
As you can see that the native unit of the pdf file is the "point" having 72 in an inch.
The file dpi would be given. However, one could assume that pixel for the rectangle lower-left and width/height are given.
From the pixels and dpi, the points could be calculated if desired.

How do I add pages to a PDF in the iPad version of Acrobat reader

    You don't.
Adobe Reader is a reader application. You can't use it to do editing.
If you have Adobe Acrobat on Mac or Windows, you can add pages.

    Searched Watermark in Manual
    Adding a Watermark at Export
A watermark is a visible graphic overlay that is applied to an image. Photographers often use watermarks to indicate that images are protected by a copyright and discourage others from inappropriately using their images.
You can import a graphics file and add it to your images as a watermark.
To add a watermark image to your exported images:
1 Select the images you want to export.
2 Choose File > Export > Versions (or press Command-Shift-E).
3 In the dialog that appears, choose Edit from the Export Preset pop-up menu.
4 In the Export Presets dialog, select the export preset you want to use to export your images.
5 Select the Show Watermark checkbox.
6 Click the Choose Image button.
7 Select the image you want to use as a watermark, then click Choose.
8 Choose where you want the watermark to appear on the image from the Position
    pop-up menu.
9 To adjust the opacity of the watermark, drag the Opacity slider to a new position.
10 If you want the watermark to be scaled in proportion to the image’s output size, select the “Scale watermark” checkbox.
11 When you’re satisfied with how your watermark appears in the watermark preview area, click OK.
12 Navigate to the location where you want the exported images placed.
13 Choose a name format for your exported files from the Name Format pop-up menu.
    14 Click Export Versions.
Your files are exported with the watermark you created.
    *Tips for Creating High-Quality Watermarks*
Use the following guidelines to create high-quality watermarks for your images:
Â Save your watermark as a .psd (Photoshop) file with a transparent background.
Â Create multiple sizes of your watermark so that you can select the one that is the best match for the output size of the exported image.
Note: If a watermark file is larger than the image you want to export, Aperture
automatically scales the watermark down to fit the image. (Aperture does not scale watermarks up.)
Â After you create a watermark, save it as part of an export preset so you can reuse it as often as you need.

I have multiple emails for different companies I work for, how do I add a different signature for each one, it seems like I have to use the same one for all of them

Thanks.  I think I'm on the right track.  I added the email address to my contacts and double clicked the image icon to change it, but it only lets me snap a new picture or select an image from another location.  What is the folder location of the stock icons that come with Mac OSX?

Hi and welcome to the forums vero83!
A couple of places for you to visit: Blackberry 101     Tips & Tricks
I don't believe there is a way to set that up for texts as you can for your email on the BIS site.  You could, however, use Autotext as a "shortcut" to insert a signature.
    Happy to have you here!

  • How can I add a signature and insert pages?

The security settings only let me either add a signature OR insert, rotate or delete pages. I need an option to do both. Is there a way to make my own custom security settings?
Basically, what I need is a document that is not editable when you open it in illustrator or other editing programs. Setting the security to allow only adding and rotating pages is perfect except for the not being able to sign it thing...
We work like this: We print a file, add one of the customized "approved" stamps in the annotations pallet, add some other pages to it and send it to the sales rep. They may need to extract or delete pages but have no need to edit them. However, compeitors occasionally will get the file and want to import it into their own system. Which is why we want the security, so they cant.
If theres another way to add some sort of stamp or signature to the file, that would be fine. Its just an iso thing.
Im using windows 7 and adobe acrobat XI pro.

I am not sure I understand what you mean by "security". Do you apply a "Permissions" password to PDF? If so, then remember that Adobe products and some other PDF Viewers obey restrictions that you set for a PDF, but many 3-rd party PDF Viewers do not. So, even if you set the restrictions, it is still possible to not obey them. There are even Web services where you can upload a PDF with restricted permissions and it will return an unrestricted PDF. This whole restrictions thing was put in PDF when Adobe was the only game in town but that was 10 years ago..
You can use certifying signature to reliably restrict what can be done to PDF, but Acrobat UI provides limited restriction choices. Other Adobe products, like LifeCycle provide more restrictions choices but this is probably a too expensive solution for you.
