How do I back up all of my pictures that are saved on to my iPod touch 4th generation?

I have looked through nearly all of the setting on my iPod touch 4th gen. and I can't find out how to back up all of my pictures. Are they automaticly updated to the cloud and if so how do i get to the cloud?

Camera roll photos are automatically included in your iCloud backup.  However, if you delete them from your iPod and continue backing up, the backup that contains the deleted photos will be overwritten by one that doesn't, and the deleted photos will be lost.
The safest thing to do is to import them to your computer while they are still in the camera roll, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • The songs that I bought first with my iPod touch (4th generation) have randomly deleted themselves. How can I fix this?

I first got my iPod about two years ago and recently when I got an iPhone 5s, I noticed that some of my songs have been deleted, randomly. I looked under my purchased songs and there is no trace that I previously bought these songs. Another problem that I am dealing with is that some of my songs are being cut off. The song will start out fine, a few days later it will be cut off, and a few days after that the song will be cut off even more! I went through iTunes to see if I would be able to rebuy the songs (ludacris, I know), but each song is labeled as purchased. Are there anyways that I can fix these problems?!

Do you have any Restrictions set that would prevent those songs from being listed under purchased? Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and check/change.
    Otherwise contact iTunes.

    For skiping:
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Unsync all music and resync
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • HT1689 how do i delete the yellow capacity what is that cause by i have an ipod touch 4th gen

i have an ipod touch i want to rent a movie but its not letting me cause its telling me i dont have enough storage space and my itunes on my computer telling me that in the capacity its showing yellow in other what does that mean?how do i delete it ? i have an ipod touch

If the "other" is greater than about 1 1/2 GB  usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.  Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
    To restore from backup see:

  • I updated my iPod touch 4th generation from the latest iOS 4 update (i think maybe iOS 4.3.5 or something like that) to iOS 5.1.1 and my Photos, Videos, contacts, music, App data, etc. was deleted. How can I all the data back?

I updated my iPod touch 4th generation from the latest iOS 4 update (i think maybe iOS 4.3.5 or something like that) to iOS 5.1.1. I updated to iOS 5.1.1 on a Windows XP Home Edition with the Service Pack 3 installed on the Windows XP (which I believe is the latest version). After updating, I unplugged my iPod from the computer. I saw that all my photos and videos were on my iPod, but there were no apps. A window popped up and told me to enter a passcode for my iPod. I entered a passcode. I then locked my iPod and entered what I thought to be the correct passcode, but my iPod remained unlocked. Desperate, I tried many passcodes with failure. After a while, my iPod became disabled for a long time. I decided to reset my iPod. After I reseted it, I chose to reset from my earlier back up. After reseting, my computer loaded on all my apps. But, when I started using my iPod, I realized all my photos, videos, music, app data (like game saves and high scores), etc. were gone! I have no idea what to do and I am very stressed about this! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET ALL MY STUFF BACK!!!!!!

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

  • My ipod touch 4th generation is disabled do to incorrect passwords  how do i restore it without loosing all of my stuff on it

please help me my ipod touch 4th generation is disabled because of my brother trying to guess my password how do i restore it with out loosing all of my stuff

You need to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes.  You may need to place it in recovery mode. For that see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
You can restore from backup and get you app data back till the time the backup was made.  That is the way it works.  It is a security feature.

  • I just got an iPod touch 4th generation for my daughter. I already have a iPhone 5 setup with iTunes. All I want to put on her iPod is music and apps. How do I set the iPod to only get that information using my iTunes?

I just got a new iPod Touch 4th generation for my daughter. I have a iPhone 5 that is already set up on iTunes. The only thing I want on her iPod from my iTunes is music and apps. How do I set her iPod up so that it only gets that information? Do I set it up as a new device? If so will that alter my iTunes?
    Thanks.
    llfit

You can set up more than one device on your computer, and iTunes will remember the settings for each of them:
How to use multiple iPods, iPads, or iPhones with one computer
But you'll have to use your Apple ID to sync bought media to her device. Disable all other things you don't want to sync like photos, contacts, etc.

  • I recently received an I Pod touch 4th generation. I synced it to my computer and now all my pictures that I have ever taken are now on my Ipod. How do I delete pictures that are not taken by the Ipod but were synced onto the ipod?

I recently received an Ipod Touch 4th generation. I synced it to my computer and now all the pictures that I have ever taken are on my I pod. How do I delete pictures that have been synced from my computer?

    Hi megan21,
Connect your iPod to iTunes, click on your device, and then click on the "Photos" page. If you don't want any photos on your iPod, make sure the "Sync photos from [photo application]" checkbox is unchecked. Or, you could select specific photos in that page to sync to your iPod.
    Hope this helps,
    O.C.

  • I have an ipod touch 4th generation, 8gb. I tried to update to ios 6.0.1, but it reset my ipod to factory settings instead. How do I get everything back? Help please!

Hi! Today I tried to update my ipod touch 4th generation to ios 6.0.1. But the final result was my ipod being reset to factory settings. I don't know what happened. Does it mean I lost everything on my ipod? How do I get everything back? I had backed up my ipod on my computer before updating. Will that help? I don't know what to do now. I'm not very good with anything electronic, so now I'm afraid to touch anything in case I make it worse...

The backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music. Se the following for what it does contain.

my ipod touch 4th generation, is stuck on the apple turn-on screen where you turn it on, but all you see is the apple. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    No app is required.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    iCloud: Find My iPhone
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
