How do I build a table in muse?

How do I build a table im Muse?

Hi John!
Good Question that has been asked many times before...
I am actually surprised that this feature was not added in the latest release of Muse! The only way to add a table (that I am aware of) is to add the table html code through the "Insert HTML" function. You could create and style your html in Macromedia - making sure the css is included in the code - and then add the code to your Muse project as explained above. Muse is supposed to help avoid coding, but the "insert html" menu item at least helps to implement features that are not native to Muse yet. After all software development can't create all features imediately (;
The other option is to build seperate text blocks and align them next to each other. This way you retain full sytle control within Muse.
Hope this helps!

  • How can I build a table with the time values of a timer from a while loop

    Hi:
I have a question concerning building a table:
Every 100ms I read a value from a sensor (while loop with a timer). I would like to build a table with the actual time and the concerning value. For example:
    0msec         1V
    100msec     2V
    200msec     3V
    300msec     4V
    etc.
If I use the Express VI for building a table, I always get the date and time, but I don't need the date and the time is in the following format: HH:MMS, which is nonsensical for me as I can't differentiate within msec. Can I change the format anywhere?
Can I also save the table to a file or even to an Excelsheet? How can I do that?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Craig:
thank you very much. To solve the mystery : ) :
I want to drive a stepper motor with a specific frequency. To get the current degree value of the motor I would like to measure the current time (from the beginning of the move on). (With a formula I get the degree value out of the time)
Concurrently I would like to get data from a torque sensor and from a pressure sensor. That's why I asked you about the time and the table. The measurement should start with the movement of the motor. How can I do that? Right now I have different block diagrams (different while loops) (see attachment) and I would like to put them in one.
I haven't done the block diagram for the pressure sensor yet, so there is only the one for the torque sensor and the one for the motor.
I also would like to set a mark in the table when the voltage value of an analog input gets under a specific threshold value. Is that possible?
I'm sorry, I'm a novice in LabVIEW. But maybe you can help me.
    Thank you very much!
    Steffi

  • How to automatically build a table with 2 alternated font colors for the lines ?

    Hi,
I'm looking for a way to automatically build a table with alternate background color and alternate font color for the lines.
I have this particular project (a list of companies of an industrial area) and it is updated twice a year :
I managed to set an automated alternate background color of the lines so this works well (white/blue/white/blue...)
But the font color does not automatically alternates... and I do not know how to set this up...
All the companies are ordered alphabetically so when I have to insert or delete one, the whole text of the table under the modified line is messed up. Then I have unreadable white text on white background and blue text on blue background...
Does anyone have an idea on how to automatically alternate the font color ?
    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    G.

    Hi,
I know this [JS] code is awful but it works. If  someone wants to correct it …!
At the beginning, you have an Excel file. You play a little with it [doing concatenations] to get, after importing it in ID:
    Then, just run the .jsx:
    Done!

  • How do I build a table that can be filled in by the user?

I'm trying to build a form where the user can easily add a qty to order a size. I haven't been able to do this other than adding a text field for every option. Can you build a table that would do the same thing (see my sample below)? Even better, is there a way to get it to total? All ideas appreciated!
    Small
    Med
    Large
    XL
    Total
    Style A
    Style B

    Hi,
You already have a good start at generating the table. All you need to do is change the cells from static text to either a numeric field or text field. You can do this by dragging a numericField from the Object Library and placing it inside the cell.
Once you have the numeric field in place, you can edit the properties, font, alignment, currency, validation, etc. Then copy and paste the field into similar cells and change the names, for example A_small,  B_small etc.
The "Total" numeric field could have a Formcalc in the calculate event:
    $ = A_small + A_med + A_large + A_xl
This is on the basis of a static table where you design all of the rows that will be available to the user.
You can also set up dynamic tables where the uer can add additional rows. There are plenty of good examples in the LC help and on the forums.
    Good luck,
    Niall

How can I create a table with muse?

Muse doesn't natively support building tables at this time.
However, you can add HTML table through Object -> Insert HTML option as a way around that.
    http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp
You could even try aligning a few text boxes with/without Stroke applied to create an editable tabular look in Design mode.

  • How to build a Table of Contents from a Sitemap

I have a large 250+ page website for which I need to build a Table of Contents so that visitors can see the site as a whole based on the Title information. Is this possible in DW CS4?  Or can it be built through a Sitemap?

Thanks, I do understand what a sitemap is. But I was trying to find out how
to generate a hierarchical list with *titles* and URLs of all the pages on
    the site.

How can I build view with two columns for user name ( one create and the other
    Can change also )
And to display full name ( the user name is the key but not display  ) ?

    Hi,
    Creating View
    •     From initial screen of data dictionary(T.Code: SE11), enter the name of object i.e. view.
    •     Select view radio button and click on the push button.
    •     Dialog box is displayed for types of views.
    •     Select the view type.
    •     On the next screen, you have to pass following parameters.
    •     Short text
    •     In the table box you need to enter the table names, which are to be related.
    •     In join table box you need to join the two tables.
    •     Click on the TABFIELD. System displays the dialog box for all the table fields and user can select the fields from this screen. These fields are displayed in the view fields box.
    •     Save and Activate: When the view is activated, view is automatically created in the underlying database system. As long as the table exists in the database, the view also exists (Unless you delete it).

  • How do I go about embedding a jquery plugin into the building process of Adobe Muse?

How do I go about embedding a jquery plugin into the building process of Adobe Muse?

Many of the "Edge" fonts offered in Muse for web font use are available as open source fonts from Google or other sites like Font Squirrel. For example, a company may want to use the Exo typeface in their logo. You can use Exo as a web font within a web site created in Muse. For general graphics work, like creating a logo and other branding work, the same typeface can be installed as a system font from the sources I mentioned.
The newest version of Muse will now allow you to use SVG graphics -a vector-based graphics format for the web. SVG objects can be scaled to any size without showing pixel jaggies. You can create vector-based type objects using any system font in Adobe Illustrator or other similar applications capable of saving SVG. Within Illustrator you can creatively manipulate those type objects, or do subtle things like adjusting letter spacing, then output it as an SVG image. I don't particularly care for the default letter spacing of many web fonts, so SVG is a fairly decent alternative.
Most new web browsers support SVG properly. Old versions of Internet Explorer (8 and earlier) and some older mobile web browsers don't support SVG without user-installed plug-ins. Those web browsers are disappearing quickly.

  • Tables - How to build "Tree-Tables"

    Hi,
Is it possible to build "Tree-Tables" just like expandable tables in ADF, Ice, Tomahawk?
    Thanks a heap,
    A.Gurisatti

You can use ADF or other JSF components in Creator. It will not be drag and drop - like Creator provided JSF components.
If someone can volunteer on writing instructions on how to use ADF in Creator, that would be great. Any volunteers?

  • How to use tables in Muse?

What is the best way to control page layout in Muse? I always used tables in HTML and Dreamweaver but tables don't seem to import to Muse. Is there a way to import tables to Muse or something similar in Muse?

Generally the best way to control page layout in Muse is to arrange things in Muse Design mode the way you'd like them to appear on your website, and let Muse take care of generating the proper HTML to make your site look the same across browsers.

    Hi,
Based on the description, I understand that you want to add subreport in the main report. When previewing the main report, the subreport can be shown in detail. Please see the screenshots on my test:
In Reporting Services, we can create parameters and pass them from main report to subreport in order to control the data dynamically.

  • How do I create a Table of Contents in InDesign CS6 for print that easily converts to epub?

How do I create a Table of Contents in InDesign CS6 for a print book that easily converts to epub?
Can anyone point me to a link for a step-by-step (not a video) on setting up all the elements of a print book properly (pages, table of contents and index) so they will convert and reflow perfectly from print to epub in InDesign CS6. This is not about building an ebook from ground up, but taking 50 backlisted print books (converted from old versions of Quark to InDesign) that now need to be converted to epub formats.
OR could someone point me to the link in the Adobe InDesign CS6 support that explains how to create a Table of Contents for a print book (5.5" x 8.5", 288 pages), one that will convert when the file is converted to ePub (for MAC OSX)?
Just downloaded the 706 page inDesign CS6 reference manual from Adobe <http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/indesign_reference.pdf>  but there's not even a search feature on the pdf file.
Up until this week, we have only done print books, creating the TOC the old fashioned way, as a fixed page, comprised of two columns: page numbers and chapters/subject. The files I have created are taken by our printer and printed beautifully.
However, when I convert the same book to epub in CS6, the character and paragraph styles converted beautifully - but everything else is all over the place! The table of contents is on different pages, the columns split apart. That goes for the page contents as well - everything is all over the place. when it's converted to a pdf -- total perfection. Never any problems converting with perfection to pdf format and reading those on the various readers.
(Thank you so much in advance for any help).

<http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/indesign_reference.pdf> Adobe Digital Reader does have a search feature for reading pdfs. Found the TOC instructions on page 176 of 706 pages.

  • How to Create a Dimension Table in OBIEE11g

    Hello,
Chapter 9, page 221(if pdf) of the Build Repository manual of OBIEE 11g explains following.
    Creating Dimensions in Level-Based Hierarchies
After creating a dimension, each dimension can be associated with attributes
(columns) from one or more logical dimension tables and level-based measures from
logical fact tables. After you associate logical columns with a dimension level, the
tables in which these columns exist appear in the Tables tab of the Dimension dialog.
To create a dimension with a level-based hierarchy:
    1. In the Business Model and Mapping layer of the Administration Tool, right-click a
business model and select New Object > Logical Dimension > Dimension with
    Level-Based Hierarchy.
Note that this option is only available when there is at least one dimension table
that has no dimension associated with it.I am still learning OBIEE, and I can not see the dimension menu item as per point 1 becuse i do not have dimension table associated with it. All I have done at this point is to create logical tables based on few physical tables in physical layer.
How do I create Dimension Tables? using BI Admin tool?
    Thanks,R

    Hi Rich,
If you are new to Oracle BI, you would better start with the Oracle Learning Library; http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=9830:41:0::NO:RIR:IR_PRODUCT,IR_PRODUCT_SUITE,IR_PRODUCT_COMPONENT,IR_RELEASE,IR_TYPE,IRC_ROWFILTER,IR_FUNCTIONAL_CATEGORY:,BI,,,,,
You create dimensions based on your logical tables. In a plain star-schema you would have one logical fact table and at least one or more logical dimension tabes attached (joined) to the fact table. Just follow the documentation and you would be good to go.
