One way would be to open the PDF with Acrobat XI Pro. Then from Tools - Pages use the feature that supports page extractions to a new PDF.

Color of Hyperlink Changes When I Convert a Document Created in Pages to a PDF

I am currently using Pages 09 to design an eBook. When I convert my Pages document to a PDF some of the hyperlinks change colors from medium to dark blue. I am currenlty using the latest version of Adobe Reader (9.46). I have been to Apple store to try and address this issue, but they can not correct it. If I open the document in Preview or Safari, it works fine. There is only a problem when I open the document in Adobe Reader. I would greatly appreciate your help in getting this fixed. Does anyone know what the problem is here and how to fix it? Thanks in advance for your help!

I used to be able to convert Pages document easily to iPhoto before I upgraded to Lion. Used to be able to go to: File > Print> PDF (bottom left corner of print dialog box)>Save as PDF to iPhoto.
Now if I do that I have option to save as PDF to iTunes but not to iPhoto.
The advantage of saving Pages to iPhoto was that it was very easy to send email of collages of photos created in Pages.

Only Pages, Preview, Pages for iCloud beta, and Pages v2 or later on IOS 7 can open native Pages v5.2.2 (.pages) documents. Sending a Pages v5.2.2 document to someone without Pages v5.2.2 is futile.
If you are using Gmail or Dropbox, you will need to right-click on that Pages document, and then choose compress from the contextual menu. You can then attach filename.pages.zip, because it appears as a single document, and not a folder.
Pages v5.2.2 has a Share button on the Toolbar. Providing your document is already in iCloud storage, you can Send a Link to iCloud via the following:
The Share toolbar icon also allows you to Send a Copy to Email, Messages, and AirDrop. This will present you with the document export sheet, the same one you get if you chose to File > Export To menu item, as the alternative.
If you are sharing document content with an MS Office user, then the document you want to send them is either a Word .docx, or .doc. If they want just a read-only view of your content, send a PDF, for improved cross-platform exchange.

Your going to have to work at it. First You going to have to save it as an Excel file then you can save as a PDF. Works was put out before Acrobat was even a gleam in someone's eye. And Adobe never did support the file type. Works died on Mac Platform about 10 years ago and probably didn't last many years longer on PC.
Works first came on a Mac as direct competition to Appleworks. This was back in the day when MS was making every legal effort it could to kill off anything Apple.
MY very first ever application for my First Mac an SE/30 was MS Works Because Apple hadn't come out with the Apple IIe Conversion yet. I wouldn't be ready for another couple of Months. I suppose Works was the Daddy to Office.

Document files need to be associated with an app that will read it. I use documents to go, but there are others out there, paid and free.
those apps will either have file transfer protocols that work within iTunes. Some also have the ability to upload and download using services like sugar sync or dropbox. Docs to Go has a desktop program that you can use to sync documents over wifi outside of iTunes.
Another way to get documents onto your ipad is to mail them to yourself, open that mail, 'send' the document to your app and then view it that way.

The pages contain text and I want to be able to copy parts of the page into separate different pdfs. It would be really nice if I could split up the page into the required sections by highlighting all the different sections on the page and then save each section to individual pdfs all at once. With the number of pages you are talking about, there is no real easy solution. However, try extracting the page(s) you want in a new file. After the extracted file exists, try using the object select tool to remove the parts you do not want. You might find using the redaction tool to zero out the parts you don't want might work better. Unfortunately, a PDF is not a word processor type data file and the editing is likely not going to be easy.

I typically create a TEST folder on the remote site. Upload new pages and dependant files there for debugging and testing purposes. Then using a 3rd party ftp ware (filezilla, cute ftp or Ws_ftp pro), I move the new site files & folders over to the root directory. If you have used the same filenames as were on the old site, new pages will overwrite the old ones. If you used a different naming convention, you will need to delete old files from server.

Same problem here (no graphics in header or footer) and the problem has been reported months ago. It is another bug/feature lost when Apple moves from 09 to the iCloud-compatible versions. Complain to Apple, you may have better chance than me and they may finally listen to their users....
