How do I deploy a custom plugin jar in OVD11.1.1.5

Hi all,
I have created a custom plugin and build the jar. how do I deploy the plug-in jar in OVD11.1.1.5.

Thanks for the suggestion...I did read up on the count function, but I don't think it will give me what I want. I need a a counter that increments for each payment made to a supplier, not a total of the number of payments made to that supplier.
Any other suggestions, please?
Tam.

    Is it an AccessGate, or an authentication plugin? The procedure for adding custom plugins for use in OAM authentication schemes is described here:

  • How to deploy a custom plugin in OVD 11g/ODSM 11g?

    Hi,
    I created a sample plugin and trying to deploy it using ODSM. Looks like there is no facility to do it as we used to do it using OVD Manager GUI. I copied the plugin jar file under the existing pluigns directory. Restarted OVD servers, ODSM but i am still not seeing the custom plugin in ODSM. Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ramnath

    Ok, I found a work around for this issue.
    I developed the plugin using OVD MAnager (10g), deployed it in OVD 10g server. Copied the deployed plugin into OVD 11g environment and it works!. So it is the only way to develope custom plugins in 11g by using OVD10g environment? Any other work around not involving 10g is highly appreciated.

  • I get an error while deploying a custom Plugin

    The preferred credentials are not set for ora80.carfax.cfx:1831
    I get this error after I have uploaded the plug-in into the Grid Console while trying to deploy it to an agent.
    I have set the preferred credentials for the host both the normal and privileged usernames.
    I have also tested those credentials on that page.
    I have looked for a way to set credentials for the agent, but can not find one. I am deploying to a 10.2 agent.

    What is the version of the Agent(5 numbers: 10.x.x.x.x)?
    Is the Agent a typical, full install?
    What is the version of the OMS?
    Was this a beta install?
    On the Preferred Credentials page, the table lists how many of each target type you have on the system, does it have Agents recorded in the system?
    The fact that you can't set the credentials on the Agent target type is a problem. It means that something wasn't loaded into the repository correctly somewhere along the way. This error may have been recorded in the emoms.trc or emoms.log file in the OMS Oracle Home.

  • How to deploy the custom java application for self regaistration in portal?

    hi,
    I have created a custom java application in NWDS for Self Registration of new users.I am working on EP 7.02 and the standard self registration application is a Web dynpro java application.
    How can i deploy my custom java application built as a par file in place of the Web dynpro java application?
    Thanks,

    Hi Amarys,
    If you have developed the PAR file in NWDS then you can deploy the PAR in the server with NWDS ( [Check Required Settings |NWDS 7.0 does not deploy PAR;) or in server directly (system administrator > support >> portal runtime >> administration console)

  • Simple Question - How do I deploy custom taglibs to Oracle 9iAS r2?

    Simple question.
    There are lots of simple examples on JSP custom tags that have
    a .tld file, a .java file with the handler class, and a .jsp
    file that calls the custom tag to test it.
    My question is, lets say I have a .tld file, a .java file and
    a .jsp file for a tag example. How do I deploy them to
    Oracle 9iAS r2? I'd like to code an example and deploy it,
    but I'm stuck. I'm using Jdeveloper 9i, and have compiled the
    .java file and included it and the .tld in a Custom Taglib JAR.
    How is this JAR deployed to Oracle 9iAS, considering that the
    Enterprise Manager only deploys WAR and EAR files? How do
    a configure a web app to use the custom tags...
    This should be simple -- maybe its too simple so I'm stuck!

    check out ojspdemos which comes with the product.

  • How to import custom java jar/class into oracle to be used in java proc ?

    Hi
    I would like to know how to import custom java jar/class files into oracle to be used in java stored procedure.
    I am developing a oracle pl/sql procedure to call java program. The java program will be created as procedure and will be published.
    But, my question is that I do have a other external jar/class file that need to be imported into this java program.
    example
    raise_sal.java
    import java.util.*;
    import oracle.sql.*;
    <<reference other java programs >>
    import cmpmsgsvc.xxxx.* ;
    import cmpmsgsvc.yyyy.* ;
    import cmpmsgsvc.zzzz.* ;
    how do I import the cmpmsgsvc jar/class file into oracle so that I don't have any
    compilation errros on raise_sal.java program ??
    what are the steps to import/compile and validate to do this?
    thanks for your help in advance.
    Thanks

    Problem is that, I have 6 jar files that are needed to be included in the main java program. And, there are more than 50+ classes, propertiers in those 6 jar files.
    It might be not good idea to have all those 50+ classes in the production database.
    Is there anyway that I keep all those 6 jar files in unix box (our's is oracle erp installation with oracle being installed on unix box) and just refer them in the main java program. I mean database will be loaded with main java program and it should able to refer other 6 jar files from unix.
    if we create a directory and keep all jar files in there and include that directory in classpath variable, does this works? or what is other method?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks

  • How to deploy a bunch of jar files

    All,
    I am just after downloading iPlanet App Server and have been trying to find information on how to deploy a bunch of packaged jar files.
    Basically if anyone can help it would be great, my problem is that I have a number of jar files that make up an application that I developed a while ago, I was using the 9ias app server but have decided to try out the iPlanet app server. Now what I need to know is how do I put the jar files onto the server for deployment???I had a look at the deployment tool but it would not allow me to deploy any of my jar files????Also a couple of the jar files I want to put into the class path, so where is that?
    Any help would be fantastic
    Thanks in advance
    J

    the first thing, that I suppose you know, is that iPlanet needs an extra xml file. If your jars have this exta xml file , the only thing is to use the iasdeploy command line to deploy your jars fles

  • VBAI Development Toolkit, Custom Plugin: How to get TCP data / connection ID configured in VBAI Communication Manager?

    Hello,
    I would like to create a custom plugin using the VBAI Dev. Toolkit. I'm using VBAI 2010 with LabView 2010.
    In this step I would like to send a TCP message over a TCP connection defined in VBAI Communication Manager. How can I get the open Connection ID? Or do I have to open the connection in the Plugin? In this case, how to get the defined TCP data from the Communication Manager?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards,
    Yellow

    Yes you could. You can even create a simple VBAI inspection that uses the TCP step and then migrate it to LabVIEW to see how VBAI opens the connection and uses it in the TCP step. It may be more involved if you want to allow the user to configure all the TCP settings (IP Address/port) and have all your custom steps use the same settings (maybe save them to an INI and have all steps use the same INI to get the settings).
    Hope this helps,
    Brad

  • How do I deploy an external JAR file

    Hello,
    How do I deploy an external JAR file?
    I am grateful for every hint.

    Hi Manuel,
      If you read my blog mentioned in the beginning of the thread, you will note that such solution is not supported in our engine due to number of reasons.
      Please, read the blog and use application library shared among these two applications. You will achieve the same effect. Please note that the using application will need run and deploy-time dependencies to the shared library.
      You should not add files to any of the folders manually or manipulate engine's classpath in such situations.

  • How to deploy ear file with jar file and war file with different names

    Hi,
    As part of weblogic migration from WL 6.1 sp3 to WL 10, Iam facing some problem.
    Problem:
    I have one ear file(abc.ear) to deploy which contains one jar file(xyz.jar) and one war file(pqr.war).
    In config.xml file of WL 6.1, it was mentioned as :
    <Application Deployed="true" Name="abc" Path="./config/mydomain/applications/abc.ear">
    <EJBComponent Name="xyz" Targets="myserver" URI="xyz.jar"/>
    <WebAppComponent Name="pqr" Targets="myserver" URI="pqr.war"/>
    </Application>.
    The above is working fine.
    But in config.xml file WL10,I cannot mention the same.
    I need to have different application anmes for ear,jar and war.If I deploy as a ear file,the jar and war files are deployed with the same ear file name.
    I tried the following options:
    1) Deploying as a ear file by adding <sub-deployments>
    2) Deploying both war and jar seperately which is not recommended in my application.
    Please provide the content I should place in the config.xml so that everything works fine correctly.
    Any help is appreciated.

    How you create your .xml file.
    Have you created your .xml file using New->web tier->OA Components->Page.
    If in this way you would not get your specified Error. Could not find the main class.Progarm will exit.
    I think you are running any java file. either controller, VOImpl.java or any else.
    that do not have main function.
    if still this issue exist on your side. let us know all the steps in details to us.
    Thanks, Avaneesh

  • Fusion Applications 11.1.7: Deploy a custom ADF page to Fusion Applications

    Hi,
    I am trying to create and deploy a custom ADF page in Fusion Applications(in premise) which will allow search, create and update operations on a custom table. I have been going through a pile of documents and this forum but I still have the following questions.
    I have a PageA based on the UIShell. This page is linked to the taskflow TaskFlowA which provides the search functionality. TaskFlowA calls TaskFlowB and TaskFlowC which provide the create and edit functionalities.
    I have enabled security from Jdeveloper (Application>Secure>Configure ADF Security)
    Question#1: Is this step required?
    To deploy it I will generate the ADF Library JAR for the Model and ViewController. The ADF Library JAR for the model will be placed into the <ExplodedEarDirectory>/APP-INF/lib directory of an existing application(say HCM). The ADF Library JAR for the UI will be placed in the <ExploadedWarDirectory>/WEB-INF/lib directory.
    Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
    I will then add permissions for the page by following the steps in How To Configure Security For Custom Pages/Taskflows Added To Fusion Applications(Doc ID 1486524.1). This document lists the steps for configuring authorization policies using APM.
    Question#3: While specifying the resource type in APM, I will select RegionResouceType and set the Name to PageA. I understand that I need to provide the full path of PageA in the form xx.xxx.xx. But how do I get the full path?
    Finally I will add a new menu entry in the Navigator menu using the setup task “Manage Menu Customizations” by adding a new item.
    Question#4: What will be the value of Focus View Id for the new Item? Will it be the Focus View Id that I provided while creating the menu file in JDeveloper?
    Question#5: What will be the value of Secured Resource Name? Will it be the same as what I provided in Question#3 above?
    Thanks,
    Sujoy

    Question#1: Is this step required?
    Yes if you want to test the security in the integrated WLS .
    Question#2: Are any other steps required for deployment.
    Yes. Please follow up our earlier post ADF How-To #12: Deploying Customizations to Standalone WLS
    For question #3, #4 & #5 please first review our other post ADF How-To #10: Replacing A Bounded Task Flow  This won't answer completely what you asked but would definitely be a step in that direction.
    I would also recommend you to go through other posts starting with title ADF How-To #.
    Hope this helps
