How to deploy the custom java application for self regaistration in portal?

hi,
I have created a custom java application in NWDS for Self Registration of new users.I am working on EP 7.02 and the standard self registration application is a Web dynpro java application.
How can i deploy my custom java application built as a par file in place of the Web dynpro java application?
Thanks,

Hi Amarys,
If you have developed the PAR file in NWDS then you can deploy the PAR in the server with NWDS ( [Check Required Settings |NWDS 7.0 does not deploy PAR;) or in server directly (system administrator > support >> portal runtime >> administration console)

    Hi Sujana,
    For deploying Web Dynpro for Java application, J2EE_admin correct password must be stored in the scured area of config tool.
    Your error show that J2EE_admin information is not correct.
    So, Please ask your basis team to update new J2EE_ADMIN password or you can do it in scured area of config tool.
    Hope this will helps you.

              It should be a very simple question for most of you, however, it seems a bit tricky to me: how to configure the Weblogic 9.2 workshop so that we could keep the generated java files for the compiled jsp when we ran the application within WL 9.2 workshop?
              <p>
              I try some configurations, but not working. Also, where are the generated java files stored?

    Hi Kundan,
    First create a WD abap component and then you have to integrate in the portal.
    Refer this article [Integrate a Web Dynpro Application into the SAP Enterprise Portal|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/7bfea990-0201-0010-44a7-84a74971b795&overridelayout=true].

    Hi Experts,
    how can I deploy the adf application that is build using 11g on OAS 10.1.3.4
    is it possible to do that
    we are unable to fine the OAS connection wizard in 11g
    Thank
    Gayaz

    Hi Gayaz,
    Since we got stuck in the same swamp I can tell you what our local Oracle Support told us: there is no other choice but to buy new license of Oracle WebLogic Server Standard or Enterprise Edition.
    Even with maintenance license you cannot upgrade to Oracle WebLogic server 11g... a very bad news for developers... but maybe Oracle is preparing something new - but this is the question for Oracle Support Staff

  • How to deploy the wrapped Java Bean on PowerBuilder

    Using the JavaBeans Bridge for ActiveX Packager, I could generate the .tbl and .reg files for my Java Bean. Since I am a 100% Java guy and don't have much knowledge of PowerBuilder, I don't know how to deploy this on PB. When I try to register an OLE, PB looks for the files with an extension .ocx but not .tbl. Please let me know how I can see my wrapped up Java Bean on PowerBuilder or on VB.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    I found it, I have to update the system registry with the .reg file and then the java bean automatically gets listed in the controls list in PB.

    HI Murali,
    Clearly it is stating that Null Pointer exception is wdDoInit() method of WeborderView at line number 145. Check what logic you have written there and try to rectify it. Still if you are not able to do so, copy the logic here. I will try to help you.
    Note: Inorder to enable line numbers, go to Window-> Preferences->Workbench->Editors->Text Editor->Show line numbers

    How you create your .xml file.
    Have you created your .xml file using New->web tier->OA Components->Page.
    If in this way you would not get your specified Error. Could not find the main class.Progarm will exit.
    I think you are running any java file. either controller, VOImpl.java or any else.
    that do not have main function.
    if still this issue exist on your side. let us know all the steps in details to us.
    Thanks, Avaneesh

  • How to upgrade the extended web application for FBA from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010?

    Hi All,
    Currently my farm version is MOSS 2007 with SP3.
    I have a web application on port 80, and is based on windows authentication, and i extend it on the port 90, and the authentication is FBA with SqlServer.
    I know that SharePoint 2010 has a new claims based authentication, and in a single web application you can do both windows authentication and FBA.
    Now i want to know, when i migrate the MOSS 2007 port 80 and port 90, which method should i choose?
    1. in SharePoint 2010 farm, Create  a classic based web application on port 80, and extend it on port 90, enable FBA on port 90. It is the same as MOSS 2007.
    2. in SharePoint 2010 farm, Create a claims based web application, and enable both windows authentication and FBA.
    Thanks.

    FBA requires claims so you'll need to create a claims based web application. Whilst you might extend the site to give you a FBA portal the web application itself will have to be claims based.
    I would definitely be looking at using a database attach upgrade path in your case to give you the opportunity for testing as moving between authentication providers can be painful.

    Hi,
    I have run into the same problem with SOA 11.1.1.5 version. In my case after fixing the following two errors it seems to work fine.
    If you have followed the guide, there must be some errors:
    First the java code if copied then contains an extra enter value:
    Instead of:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
    System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization
    Administrator");"
    Use the following:
    "try {
    System.out.println("Prototype for invoking an OIM API from a SOA Composite");
    System.out.println("RTM Usecase: Self Registration Approval by Organization Administrator");"
    The other error is that you should not use <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-manifest.jar, but the <BEAHOME>/oracle_common/modules/oracle.jps_11.1.1/jps-api.jar in jdeveloper. After these the deployment to the application server works fine for me.

  • Error targeting server for the EJB module while deploying the sample banking application

    I am currently having a very difficult time attempting to deploy the
    example banking application that I downloaded from the BEA website. I
    have followed all of the steps in the "Hands On: Deploying the Sample
    Banking Application" document, and I do fine until I get to the next to
    last step. When I attempt to target the server for the EJB module, the
    deployment process generates the error that I have included at the end
    of this message.
    I can get to the login.html page under "http://localhost:7001/banking/",
    but after that I can't go further.
    Any suggestions. BTW, in case you haven't figured it out, I'm brand new
    to BEA WebLogic server.
    Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

    The deployment process invokes javac internally to compile some generated classes.
    Do you have javac installed and in the path?
