How do I determine o and ou for an individual SearchResult?

I am doing a search of an LDAP directory on o=company. When I display the results, I would like to see such things as ou and dn, but they aren't showing up in the results. Is there anyway to derive this from the SearchResult? Thanks.

Question is not very clear to me. Whatever i understood, i guess you want to find th eOU and DN from the search result. In any case just iterate thru th eSearch Result and get each object inside it. User getName() to print the name. You will get a relative or absolute DN depending on you search criterias. If you want to see the OU then get the OU attribute for each entry.
Guess if you can write more clear I may give more answer to this.

Hi,
System follows some search criterial to determine the requirement type
1. First, an attempt is made to find a requirements type using the strategy group in the material master.
2. If the strategy group has not been maintained, the system will determine it using the MRP group.
3. If the MRP group has not been defined, the system uses the material type instead of the MRP group when accessing the corresponding control tables.
4. If no requirements type is found here, the system assumes a special rule and attempts to find a requirements type with the aid of the item category and the MRP type.
5. If this is not possible, a last attempt is made to find a requirements type with the item category only.
6. If the last attempt fails, the system declares the transaction as not relevant for the availability check or transfer of requirements.

How to configure the runtime and consolidation for a track in CMS.
I can see the track exists in CMS but the same doesnt pull up in the NWDS in the development configuration perspective.
I compared the given track with the one which gets pulled up in NWDS. Theres something called runtime system and consolidation which isnt defined for the track which is invisible.
Please advise , what are these required for. And how can we configure the same.

The runtime systems are defined for a track to setup the Transport path for any code changes....the Consolidation system is usually defined as a Virtual system for the track and used for comparison and fixing any broken or Dirty DC's ....that means it's not used as a Runtime System for Deployment as compared to DEV,QAT and PROD used for Deployment...

How do I determine expected output size for System Exec vi

I am running a DOS exe from a Batch file using the System Exec vi. My exe is programming software for a microcontroller and passes data to the programmer via the serial port. When I run the batch file externaly to LabView it works fine. When I run the same batch file using the System Exec vi I get an error from the programmer app (DOS app). Not every time but usually within 20 attempts. I reduced the execution priority of my vi's to give more time to the DOS window. This seems to have helped but hasn't solved the problem completely. I read in the help file that LabView will run more efficiently if you specifiy the expected output size in the System Exec vi, but how do I determine it? Is the expected output
size the size of the bat file I call?

If you think it is due to timing, and you wish to yield to the DOS app,
don't just lower the priority of LV, but use Wait ms to put overeager
diagram elements to sleep and limit their loop rate. Use the task
manager or performance monitor of the computer to determint if this is
the issue.

How do you determine StringBuffer and List capacity?

hi all,
I'm curious and would like to post this query that how to determine the StringBuffer and List capacity after read some of the Java Platform performance book. Some of this performance books simply tells number of capacity brieftly without telling what and how does the capacity stand for.
First, the book mentioned StringBuffer(50). Note, my question is that what is this 50 stand for? 50 Characters? or any. Can someone help me to rectify this?
Second, List. ArrayList(0.75). And what is this 0.75(by default) stand for? A heap space? Then how many of them? How many objects that can be stored for not to "exceed 0.75"?
Please help. :)

I think the capacity is the CURRENT size of a container. But it is not equal to the number of elements that container currently hold. Just like, a house can have 10 people within, but problably only 3 people at some time. Also, the capacity is not equal to the maximum size, because container can grows automatically.
For example, a container whose capacity is 50, currently has 30 elements in it. If you add 10 elements more. That is only an addition operation. But if you add 30 elements to it. Then the container first enlarge its capacity according to some arithmetic(a enlarging rate), secondly carry out the addition operation.
Now that the capacity is the size, it should be a number standing for HOW MANY elements.... In the case of StringBuffer, it should be how many chars; in the case of ArrayList, it should be how many Objects. I do not think 0.75 can stand for a capacity. Prabaly, it was used to describe the enlarging rate when containers need to contain more elements than its current capacity. ( From JDK API, you can see the type of capacity is int ).
For containers and alike, the questions "how many I can hold" and "how many I am holding", "Do I can enlarge"? are helpful for understanding how it works.

How to measure signal duration and statistics for each pulse

The attached vi has data for the maximum value of six different cutting tools while machining a part for 48000+ consecutive cycles. How would I measure the length of time each tool was used before being changed??(when profile makes a large negative transition.) Since the first three tools are related to the same holes in the part, I would also like to be able to get statistics(average) for each individual peak to see how the life of one tool affects the other tools. I am not sure if I need to do some more averaging or a differentiation to detect slope change points?? The peak detection vi's did not work real well since the peaks are not a constant value each time. This is a version 7 file.

Judging by your graphs, what you need is a differential operation:
Break the wire going from the MEAN output to the graph.
Insert a TIME DOMAIN MATH block (from the ARITHMETIC AND COMPARISON palette)
Make sure it's set for DIFFERENTIAL.
Wire the output to your graph.
See all those negative spikes? That's the transitions in your data. Put a threshold on those, and you'll determine where the changes are.

I know this is possible using the BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE, but this bapi is using to much ressources on the system.
I'm trying to get the correct price and condition WITHOUT using that BAPI.
Does anyone know how it is possible ? As said before : I have the customer, material and a date.

You need it because it's possible to have a complex pricing procedure, and you can't do it with a simple select on a table. Think that you can have pricing requirements, formulas (ie: VOFM) and so on in your pricing procedure (tcode V/08).

How to manage one wsp and dll for multiple clients in farm environment

1. There is a product which is developed using C sharp , jquery,CSS and sharepoint object models which have been packaged into .wsp file. Whenever we introduce new functionality to the product we used to branch the
previous code as a version , say Version 1.0 and new functionality of the product will in another solution. This is how we are managing the code in TFS as versions. Each newer version will have new functionalities. We do not give latest functionality for all
the clients. Each client is having its own version of functionality. Technically in order to access the functionality, the wsp solution should be present in the solution repository which is available in SharePoint central administrator site. This solution
will be deployed on the client’s site. We are following the above process in SharePoint standalone installation where we used to purchase dedicated server per client and installed sql, SharePoint foundation 2010 as standalone installation and adding the client
related version of the code to the solution repository. Later host on the site which is created for that client purpose. This process is same for all the clients where we purchase individual server for each client .
Now we want to host our product in farm environment of sharepoint foundation 2010 where we are going to try 3 level architecture.
• SQL Server-In this sever we are going to install sql server 2008R2 standard edition. Which should serve the database service for all the web applications/sitecollections which we are going to create in Web front end server.
• Application server- In this server we are going to install the sharepoint as farm and will install search server express for serving search functionality for our product
• Web front end server- In this server we are going to add this server to Sharepoint farm which we have created in application server. Here we are going to create web applications and site collections for all the clients.
In this scenario how to manage multiple versions of same wsp solution?
Another major issue w.r.t the architecture of the product and new approach for client deployment as follow.We have CSS, jquery files for serving the functionality.These files have been mapped to 14 hive folder.If any changes we do one of the jquery file or
css file which is meant for latest version and not for old version, then how to manage this new functionality for that particular css or jquery file in 14 hive folder, since there is only one 14 hive folder. What is the best practice to make this happen? Another

It sounds like you have a farm scoped solution at work. In that case you can only have a single instance of it per farm, you'd have to branch each version so they appear to be seperate solutions entirely (thus ruining your clients upgrade process).
Bluntly i don't think a single farm can manage all your user environments.
