How do I disable IPv6, which got installed DHCP by default?

I'm showing two net0 interfaces, one IPv4 and one IPv6. I've tried using netcfg to clear ipv6-addrsrc and got told it's read-only. I tried ipadm and all I was able to do was partially corrupt the IP address, not delete the interface.

I think this is done by:
# ipadm show-addr
ADDROBJ TYPE STATE ADDR
lo0/v4 static ok 127.0.0.1/8
aggr0/v4 static ok 10.0.0.10/24
lo0/v6 static ok ::1/128
# ipadm delete-addr lo0/v6
# ipadm show-addr
ADDROBJ TYPE STATE ADDR
lo0/v4 static ok 127.0.0.1/8
aggr0/v4 static ok 10.0.0.10/24
Then unplumb the interface using what you posted ..
# ifconfig lo0 inet6 unplumb

What I would recommend is not to set implicit or redundant parameters:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
There is no need to disable the "default" interface, since it is already included in the "all" statement.
I do not know, but there could be a possibility that such statements disable the network card in question, but in turn enable every other. In such case, your 2nd statement invalidates the first. Perhaps that was was part of the problem when using your other configuration.

If you mean the built-in functionality of Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash, it's different mechanism for both.

It seems that we can't configure this setting via native policy.To configure IPv6 settings,
we need to download ADMX files for IPv6. However, per the following article, the IPv6 settings that can be configured are:
Enable all IPv6 components
(Windows default)
Disable all IPv6
components (the setting you probably want)
Disable 6to4
Disable ISATAP
Disable Teredo
Disable Teredo and 6to4
Disable all tunnel
interfaces

I am not quiet understanding your question, could you clarify your question, as far as I know, an answer file is an XML-based file that contains setting definitions and values
to use during Windows Setup. In an answer file, you specify various setup options, including how to partition disks, the location of the Windows image to install, and the product key to apply. You can also specify values that apply to the Windows installation,
such as names of user accounts, display settings, and Internet Explorer favorites. The answer file for Setup is typically called Unattend.xml.

In EPM System Release 11.x, you can use the lsinventory command to OPatch to find the release and patches that are installed in an Oracle Home. For example, enter the following command on one line:
Windows:
opatch.bat lsinventory -oh <EPM_ORACLE_HOME> -jdk <MIDDLEWARE_HOME>/jdk160_29
You can also check the Patch levels by;

My iPad is disabled and I cannot get it working, not even in recovery mode. It has a password and now it won't unlock . I've never backed it up and never had the need to connect to iTunes. How do I get it working again? I don't mind setting up again. But it's not clear what happens if I erase all contents, will it remain locked? It's not lost or stolen, it locked itself by accident in my bag.

How do I disable IPv6, it will not cooperate

I have tried to disable the IPv6 using system prefs. It says the service is disabled but my console log says otherwise. I don't use it, I don't need it. It doesn't interrupt other services. Below the console message:
"3/9/10 8:01:29 AM kernel IPv6 packet filtering initialized, default to accept, logging disabled"
I had similar problems disabling my Bluetooth. I finally just removed the kext and edited the .plist file to finally remove it from the startup.
Is there another safe way to disable this, using Terminal or editing a startup plist?

there is no other method nor should it be necessary to have one. doing it via system preferences should work. something is wrong with your system.
first, delete the file /Library/preferences/systemconfiguration/preferences.plist and restart.
if that doesn't work i would reinstall 10.6.2 combo update and repair permissions. sometime that fixes such problems.

How to connect to mysql which is install in server

I already download the "driver" for mysql ( NetDirect). But face problem when want to run the driver.
I use :

How I got started with redoing things, is that I ran Namebench to see if I could get better DNS addresses. It showed me three newer and faster DNS addresses that include one from Google, OpenDNS and one from CHSI. So, supposedly, now I have the fastest DNS addresses that I can. The Cube still gets an IPv6 address and the G4 doesn't. After my initial post, which happened as a result of a null search in the forums, a bunch of things popped up that I read through. After the fact is just like Apple. In one it talked about changes that were made to 10.5 and that IPv6 was in essence "broken". That would explain things.
Just tried and experiment. I have 10.5.8 on the Cube also. Rebooted to it and . . . no IPv6. I guess IPv6 is "broken" in 10.5. Or at least not as "free operating" as in 10.4.9.
