How do i Display RSS page as text, xml, or html varient?

I'm writing my own C:\ HTML for my home page.
I'm looking for a way to display RSS or ATOM feeds in a DIV or iFrame as either text or garbage HTML (the rest i can do with java or vb scripting).
But the Subscribe Now Live Bookmarks function is in the way. how do i disable the "Ask Live Bookmarks Subscription" thing and just get the raw XML to display?
(as plain xml, plain text, or <html></html> wrapped)

On a main web page I'm trying to display formatted data from an ASP page that generates XML on-the-fly from a query.
When I run the ASP page from the browser, the XML formatting of the data works. But when I run the main web page, the data doesn't display.

Thanks, but no; I'm using the correct case and folder.
With this code on the main page, The region flashes the table column header names
and the code as written for the spry repeat; then instantly disappears from the screen.

How can I convert 300 pages of Text to a PDF?

What product would I need to convert a PDF file (300 pages of text) back into a Word 2007 document? How would I load it onto a computer that is not online? Would I lose all the PDF formating? Thank you.

no, you wouldn't necessarily lose pdf formatting when converting to a word document. i'm not sure you'll be able to edit everything in word, though.

How can we display dynamic fields from a XML CLOB?

Jdeveloper Version : 11.1.1.4.0 (11g)
We are calling a database package.procedure from a page VO and it returns a result set. The result set is mainly a XML CLOB. Within XML CLOB, we have various sections which we need to parse and display those on JSF page. Couple of sections within XML are having dynamic fields which means the number of fields returned under that section may change depending upon data conditions. We need to find technical way of displaying those dynamic fields (field name and its data – both are part of XML).
Please suggest how can this be achieved.

I have been experiencing similar problems with the HTML Editor and have managed to find an answer that should start to answer some of my questions. The Apex HTML Editor Standard is actually an HTML editor called FCKeditor. The FCKeditor has a Javascript API that can be found at http://docs.fckeditor.net/FCKeditor_2.x/Developers_Guide/JavaScript_API. Unfortuately this doesn't seem to give the whole answer and I found more at http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/thread.cfm/threadid:49607.
I needed to get the text entered within my html editor standard (e.g. P1_MYTEXT) and use it within my javascript function. I did this by using the following script

As per the configuration, when exception is thrown out of the application, container tries to display systemError.jsp page. If we want to include the JSF tags in systemError.jsp page, the request should pass through FacesServlet, so in the <error-page> <location> tag systemError page is specified with the extention systemError.jsf though it's actual extention is .jsp
When exception is thrown from the application container invoke the error page but, while rendering systemError.jsf page exception is thrown saying "Exception processing error page "systemError.jsp" "
To solve this problem i've gone through several forums, materials.
In one forum a guy said, JSF1.1 spec has some problem in displaying error pages. To solve this don't write <f:view> tags in the error page, use <f:subview> intstead. By reading this, i again changed the contents of systemError.jsp page replacing <f:view> by <f:subview>. But the error is still repeating.
Finally what i found is, when we use Ajax4jsf in the application, its AjaxViewRender class is throwing exception while rendering error pages configured through web.xml.
So what i did is i changed error page extention from .jsf to .jsp in the <location> tag. Now jsf won't come in the picture and remove JSF related tags from the systemError.jsp page.

The information as to which file extensions are associated with which mime-types is stored in the xdbconfig.file. You can add an entry using the following code

3110 Classic ... How do I display the date a text ...

I've checked the manual ... I've rooted through the phone settings ... I've read the site's FAQs ... I've searched these discussion boards !
Can any kind soul please tell me - how do I persuade my phone to tell me the date a text was received ?
It cheerfully shows the time - which is fine if I remember to check the phone on a daily basis. However, if I've omitted to check for a few days, knowing the time, but not the date, is less than helpful.
Am I just having a blind spot ... or is a date stamp for received texts not available on this model ?

Believe it or not ... I had tried looking under Message Details.
What I hadn't thought to do - until prompted by your reply - was to "arrow/scroll down" to move to the next section of the screen !

CFERROR type = "REQUEST" -- How to dynamically display ERROR page?

I applied the cferror tag in Application.cfm:

The CF error template does not dynamically show variables
except the error message (I'd like it shows header, menu bar,
footer, etc.) . Is any way to display the error page with CF
variables / URL variables / form variables?

Using an onError function in an application.cfc file will
give you more flexibility than using a cferror tag.

I am doing exactly what you are talking about.
On load of each jsp page, I check to see if I am still in session. If i am not, i redirect the user to the login page saying his session has expired.. This works perfectly fine in the sense that after I log out, if I directly type in the url or click on any other link from history, it redirects you to the login page.
But my problem sitll remained that after logging out, if i clicked the back button, it would still take me to the previous page even though none of the links on that page would work.
So i added all the response.SetHeaders that are mentioned in this discussion.
Now the scenario is such that, when i press the back button after logging out, it tells me that the page has expired and i have to resubmit the form.
There are two problems with this
1. at this point , if i refresh my page, it still gets the details from the server and even though i am invalidating the session and all the user details, and checking to see if the session is invalidated,it still somehow manages to get all the details(i dont know where that info is stored)
2. even if the person has not logged out. ie in the middle of a perfectly valid session and clicks on the back button, he is warned that the session has expired.

How do i display multiple pages on the iMac screen in safari

When I open a new web pages in Safari, it closes the current page. I want to be able to open another (i.e., split screens) in safari without closing the current page so I can work between the pages. I'm new to the iMac, but I had this feature on my Windows PC.

Thanks for the information. Although this allowed me to open multiple windows, they are all show in a format too small (large thumb nails) to use. I'm looking for a way to do a "split-window" function where two windows are shown (at the same time) larger enough to move between the windows and perform functions such as copy, paste, edit, or drag data from one to the other.

Randomly, FF 7.0.1 displays a page in text only, no graphics, but if I refresh F5, it loads graphics okay . Any ideas?

Clean install of Vista Business SP2, (it did this before, though).
No html or images, only pure txt. Sometimes I have to refresh 2 or 3 times, and then it displays the site the way it should. It does it on many sites, but happens randomly.
Seacoastonline.com is one site it happens often, and it just happened trying yo go to Hootsuite.com.

I want to use a applet to display some images retrieved from intermedia OrdImage Object.
Now ,I know that a applet can display some image objects or some images with their own filepaths. But we can get ordimag objects from Oracle database.And we can image data or image properties by ordimage java mathod. It is in html/Jsp environment. So how can I transform from ordimage to applet?? I appreciate someone who can help me!

Do you mean applet or Servlet?
An Applet is java code that is downloaded over the web and runs in a web browser environment. Is this what you are doing?
I suspect you are really talking about servlet/JSP environments, and the ability to include images from the database in a web page.
In either case (applet or servlet), you want to be able to access images via a URL. For a Servlet/JSP/web page, this URL will be specified in a HTML <IMG> tag with a key as a parameter to the image you wish to view. Images are not in-line downloaded in a web page. They are access after the HTML is loaded, and are accessed with URLs, sometimes relative URLs rather than fully specified URLs.
To deliver images to the web from the database using the PL/SQL gateway and iAS, where the procedures are generated by a wizard, see:

You can create a simple servlet (JSPs can not deliver binary data) that delivers database images using java classes. See:

How to Get the Total Page Count in XML Reports?

we have a requirement where we have to print Page X of Y(Total Page Count of the document).
But whenever my header group resets the total count is also reseting.
for e.g.
I m getting the page 1 of 4, page 2 of 4, page 3 of 4, page 4 of 4 for my first record.
same way i am getting page 1 of 3 ,page 2 of 3, page 3 of 3 for my second record.
But the requirement is to display page 1 of 7, page 2 of 7, page 3 of 7, page 4 of 7 for the first header record.
And page 5 of 7, page 6 of 7 and page 7of 7 for the second record.
Is there any way to achieve this?
