How do I emulate the "save file as" from IE on Firefox? I have a web site that instructs me to right-click and "save file is".

IE has an option of "save target as".

I am wondering if its possible to create a flash button that
says 'save as' when you right click one of the pictures in flash.
Just like in HTML how you can easily right-click and save a
picture, I want to be able to do the same thing but in flash. Is
this possible? Would I use something like dynami pictures that are
outside the flash file but in the same folder and will be placed in
the flash movie when called upon? I very curious, please let me
know of any ideas you may have.

Call the button "target" (instance name) than your photo
image1234567.jpg
and paste it to timeline frame.
If you right click Target Movie clip, you will have the
download option.
Need to upload and test online, won't work in working

Do you mean saving a password?
If you clicked "Never" then you have created an exception that you need to remove.
Remove site(s) from the Exceptions:
* Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Exceptions
* https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Remembering+passwords

I cannot download a PDF file by right-clicking and "save link as"

I think that previously I could do this, and I still can in IE (ugh!), but in Firefox, when I try to "save link as" from a Google search, Firefox tries to download "url."

I don't know why it says that I use firefox 4... When I check in my About window it says 18.
I do ignore the message about the plugins. But I've started to get a little bit annoyed that I have to move up and press the little x every time I navigate to a site that needs something like flash. It eats up the size of about two text rows... it feels so unnecessary that it's there. If I want flash I will install it... The browser doesn't have to inform me about it every time.
I really hoped for a better answer. Hopefully the firefox crew will add an option to not show that kind of messages in the future.

I have several web site that I visit and for the past few weeks, some part of the page look blank.

This started as just a small section was blank, but now many more sections are blank. Some of the blank spots contain links to other sections, and if I click on them, the do work. I was hoping some of the new updates would solve the problem but no luck. I have updated all my drivers and even with a new video card, no luck. I tried FF with and without add ons, tried rebooting countless time of both computer and FF. I'm using Win 7, FF 33.11, 8 gig ram, AMD 8 core cpu.
If I use Explorer, the site works fine, but I don't want to do that if I can get around it.
I was considering reloading FF, but I'm not sure how much of my stuff (bookmarks, etc.) I would lose.
Any suggestions ?

File -> Export. Set the Kind to Jpeg. The Jpeg quality option will have most effect on the file size.

Yahoo mail won't download .bmp files when you right click, it saves as html.

I use yahoo mail and a lot of my groups send pictures imbedded. I can right click and save image with .jpg files, but .bmp files save web pages instead of bitmap. I can use Internet Explorer and save image (as .bmp files) when I right click.
I'm using Windows XP if that makes a difference.

I have the Apple Configurator. If it has the ability to block printing from an iPad, I was not able to find it. I might check out the windows version. Do you know if the windows woek on iPads (It is called Apple iPhone Configurator)?
1) Apple never renamed "Apple iPhone Configurator" after the iPad come out. Name should be something like Apple iOS Configurator. Apple iPhone Configurator will work with the iPad.
2) Doubt there is a functional difference between the Mac & Windows versions.
3) Check with iOS 6. Some resrictions have changed.

Right Click To Combine Files

Hi every1. This is a very small problem but one that is quite
annoying to me.
When I highlight 2 files (.doc,.xls etc) then right click on
them, I have the option to "convert to .pdf" using professional. No
worries. It works, everything is fine. It converts them into two
seperate pdf's.
However if my boss does this on his PC, he not only has that
option, but also the option to "combine in .pdf" which will then
convert the two docs into one PDF.
I can still do this by going into adobe and combining
mulitple files, I would just like to know how I can get that option
when I right click on 2 files. It saves a little bit of time and I
would be gratefull if anyone has any ideas.
If it helps the boss is running windows XP i beleive, and I
have vista.
