How do I find out if my orange iBook OS9 has enough memory to install OSX?

I got an orange iBook at a garage sale and it works and functions perfectly but I'm only familiar with OSX Tiger and Leopard. I want to basically erase the hard drive and start fresh but I don't know how to do that. Also, how can I connect wirelessly? Network card? I don't see a slot for it. I have an airport base station for my home iMac (2007) but I don't know what the iBook needs to use the network or if it even can.

96 MB is said to be the absolute rock-bottom, but it will not be useable at that size. 256 MB is okay for 10.2 Jaguar or 10.3 Panther, 512 MB is more like it for 10.4 Tiger. There is likely to be 32 MB or 64 MB soldered in, and ONE slot for a SO-DIMM. The 512 MB SO-DIMMs are much more expensive than the 256 MB ones, and a firmware upgrade may be needed, and must be installed from a disk-based OS 9, not from a CD.
6 GB Hard Drive is the realistic minimum, and even then, you must selectively reduce which optional items are installed.

This will update the internal table with the edited values. Then we can go for internal table comparison.

This is a tedious solution, which is stupid! And some users report an inability to reauthorize a computer after an "en masse” deauthorization. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t provide a list or menu to find out which computers you’ve authorized! Obviously, APPLE knows (or else they couldn’t tell us how many computers we have authorized)--so why can’t they give us access to that information about our own computers??!!!
And for an already-authorized computer with a hard drive that’s since been replaced and upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite, would it be recognized as a “new computer” and require authorization? Would its previous incarnation (i.e., with the old hard drive and OS) be considered a separate computer? Some users report they can’t authorize a computer after an OS upgrade because of that. How can I find out the dpi of an image in Acrobat. I have tried the pre-flight option but I really don't understand the pixels width x depth information that I get. I basically just want to know at dpi of a single image. Is there other program that will read my pdf file and tell me this information.

Thank you, tylerdurdain! That was ridiculously difficult to find. Not sure what version of Acrobat you're using in your image, but for those using Acrobat Pro 11 (in Mavericks), it's buried under View > Tools > Print Production.
That opens a panel on the right.
To keep from having to chase it down this way each time, right click on "Output Preview" and choose "Add to Quick Tools Toolbar". That adds a button to the top right of the toolbar.
Now you can call up the inspector with one click. Choose Object Inspector as tylerdurdain shows above, then click on the item displayed to get its properties.

Sounds like you want your administrative password on the Mac so can install? For starters, you'll want to ask in a Mac forum. I know you used to be able to reset it using the install disk but haven't tried that for years.
