How do I fix incorrect resolution for Firefox user interface on Retina display Mac?

I have a 15" retina display Mac (roughly a year old) running Mountain Lion. A couple weeks ago the user interface in Firefox seems have switched from using the normal zoom level of every other application to the native dpi of the retina display monitor. This means that the UI elements are all extremely tiny, etc. Is there anyway to reset this without simply reinstalling or reseting the rest of my configuration?
Currently running Firefox 27.0.

You can try to modify the gfx.hidpi.enabled pref on the about:config page (<=0: disable; 1:all screens same res; >1:enable always).

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox (you need to close and restart Firefox).

You can set the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref on the about:config page to 1.0 and if necessary adjust layout.css.devPixelsPerPx starting from 1.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps (1.1 or 0.9) to make icons show correctly.

Photo resolutions for iPad with and without Retina displays

Hello,
I would like to publish an App magazine on the iPad with Adobe DPS Single Edition. When creating the file in Indesign, I wondered about resolutions. The iPads 1 and 2 have a screen resolution of 1024x768 px and that is 72 dpi. The new iPad with Retina display comes with 2048x1536 px I reckon and a 200 dpi resolution. When creating the Indesign document for the folio, do I create the Indesign files with 1024x768 pixels? How does it work with resolution for pictures? I've heard you should have a picture folder with all 72 dpi pics and in that folder is another folder called "HD" that contains all pics in 200 dpi and double the size. When I place the 72 dpi photos into Indesign, how does it work for Retina displays then? Or does Indesign automatically search for my HD folder and pick the HD pics with 200 dpi for the Retina display iPads?
I'm a bit confused with that Retina thingy ...

Use the PDF format for your folio. Set the document and folio to 1024x768 and make sure your graphics have an effective resolution of 108ppi or greater.
The HD folder is only for overlays and quite frankly, it’s overkill for all but the most critical images.

This was first noticed with a product called Confluence that we use in our Tech Support area. Users are having to reenter their password every time they click on a new link in confluence. As long as you are accessing your internal server on http:// or https:// then I would expect the normal rules to apply. To see whether some external requests are being blocked, you might try using Firefox's Web Console, Network tab.
You can open the console in the lower part of a tab using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+k
* "3-bar" menu button > Developer > Web Console
* (menu bar) Tools menu > Web Developer > Web Console
Click "Network" on the top bar of the Web Console.
Then use the address bar or a bookmark to launch Confluence in the same tab. Each request made by Firefox should be displayed along with the result. You can click a row for more details.

However, if Confluence is heavily reliant on plugins such as Flash or Java, that could be a factor because plugins are run out-of-process in Firefox. In that case I suggest checking with Confluence for suggestions.

It is an extension to protect the profile with a password, but being an extension that protection can easily be bypassed by starting Firefox in [[Safe mode]]. 
So do not rely on it. 
If you want to protect content then you have to use methods supported by the OS like a separate user account with a password or an encrypted file system.

If you have got the error on your iPhone saying 'iPhone is disabled', put your device in DFU Mode and re-boot, or if it is still not working, then restore in iTunes.

You need to use the CTU_PARAM options with the call transaction method.This is used if you would like to do a commit work once call trnasaction is done. This has also got very important property, for example if your Screen resolution is different from others then the screen (Application) will be different that is you'll be having say 5 lines in your screen where as your friend will be having 8 or 10 so your program might fail in this case. If you set variable DEFSIZE as 'X' it will always use the default screen size and hence avoids error.
Use CALL TRANSACTION 'XXX' OPTIONS FROM w_ctu_params.( type CTU_PARAMS)
This structure contains the follwing.
DISMODE : Display mode (like the MODE addition)
UPDMODE: Update mode (like the UPDATE addition)
CATTMODE: CATT mode (controls a CATT)
CATT mode can have the following values:
' ' No CATT active
'N' CATT without single-screen control
'A' CATT with single-screen control
DEFSIZE : Use default window size (Here we are handling those transaction by giving default window size)

You are right but you have to adjust it everytime you open a new window in your browser, apart from that the above style includes other tweaks such as link underlining and more to come ( FYI, CSS is really easy to learn )
