How do I get back from "Back?"

I created an object, colored it and sent it all the way to the back as a header for my page. I then created a text box with the title and put it over the object. Now, however, I want to copy the object I created to post on another page...but I can't select it. How do I select my object that all the way in the back? The only thing Pages lets me select is the text box.

If your object has been sent to the back and is behind the 'text flow' on the page, you have to select it by click-dragging from the margins.
Once you have another object that is locked to the page selected (not an object inline with text) , you can work freely with any other object that is locked to the page, front or back, by shift-clicking on them.
If the first object you select is inline with the text then you cannot select any of the objects that have been sent to the back.
Now, all this just handles the selection of objects. If I understand you right, you want to copy an boject and have it on every page (or multiple pages) You can do that by sending it to the master. Then it will be in the same location on all pages within a section, and if you want to change it, you only have to change it once. Read up on the Master Page in the Pages Manual for more information on how to use this useful tool.
