    On the Mac Air launch iTunes. Then connect either the iPad or iPhone.
    Select the iPad or iPhone under Devices left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
    Then select Apps from the menu on the right.
    If you don't see the apps listed there, from your iTunes menu bar (top of your screen), click Store > Authorize This Computer.
    See if that makes a difference...

    I won't lie, iTunes confuses the **** out of me. I thought I had it sussed though, clearly I was wrong...
    Okay, got a new iMac when my last pc finally died. Synced my ipod to it no worries at all, never lost a song. I assumed it was because I had home sharing or because I'd authorised my new computer using my old apple id?
    Now I have a problem though. This is the first time I've actually had a good look at what happens when I connect the ipod to itunes. It will let me add new music that I've burned from my cds. However, it won't let me save any of the previously burned music on this ipod to the itunes library, even though I used itunes and the same apple id to do it originally on my old pc. I want to do this so I can transfer some of the music to my iphone which has less memory (we have an ipod playlist and iphone playlist because of the memory available).
    Is there a setting I've got wrong or is this because itunes legitimately believes I'm trying to infringe a copyright? I thought my apple id would mean they knew everything I'd done under that id before? Do I have to burn the cds all over again?
    Pls ask me to clarify anything if I've not provided the right info.

    A lot of content is available to down load from the purchased are of Itunes Store on all devices and computers.
    If you do not use iTunes Match, I don't then the computer is your source of your own non purcased content. This you can share with 5 Computers and 5 Devices.
    That is why it is important to keep a backup of this data so it can be restored to that computer or mover to a new one and you can resync it to your devices

    After I got a 27" screen, I had problems with the interface text being too small as well. That can be fixed with Mozilla applications if you set up a userChrome.css file in the profile inside a subdirectory called chrome. The code I used:

    I bought the blackerry curve 9360 (brand new) from virgin media £13 a month (for 2 years),  less than a year ago (about 8 months ago) and multiple times the buttons stop working (but just for the day) it will let me scroll on some things and not others the phone restarts it self and freezes on a daily basis. the battery life was awful it lasted me only a few hours when i would charge it over night everynight. today i woke up and it wouldnt switch on so i took the battery out and put it back in then it wouldnt even let me unlock the phone all the keys wernt working! i have taken the battery out 5 time now and i still havent even unlocked it.  i have never dropped or damaged this phone it still looks new on the ouside! i have tried calling the company about 3 months after i purchased it for theses reasons and they told me to update the phone and if i still have troubles to contact blackberry. with the new updated software the battery life is alot better but everything else is still terrible.
    is it really fair to give someone a phone theyve got too spend 2 years paying for that doesnt even last them a year?  how do i get in touch with blackberry?

    its to my understanding that us users cant directly contact blackberry and all issues with the device should be taken up through the place that we got them from i.e in this instance virgin media should arrange for the phone to be fixed im pretty sure this is the case and they have to deal with it for you. Virgin are useless alot of the time so id suggest asking to go through to retentions office when you ring as they are the people who can really sort any problems out instead of the customer service team

    Downgrading is not supported.
    Here are some basic troubloeshooting tips:
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
      - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)

    Don't waste your time asking for a downgrade of the iOS.  That's not an option.

    I have been waiting for a landline for a number of months.  Every time an engineer visit is arranged, the engineer cannot do anything and on the last visit it was finally explained to me that there is no line capacity available and a new line will have to be carried from the exchange a mile away, and possibly a new pole installed so that the reach is less than 68 metres to the house. I have received yet another message that an engineer's appointment is to be scheduled, but it is obvious to me that this will be in vain as no new pole has appeared.
    Every time I call, I am told that the engineer needs access to the premises and yes, my line will be put in on the installation date and I know that this is not true.  The engineers apologise and are very pleasant, but can do nothing until there is a line to work with.
    I am frustrated that I cannot get anyone to give me clear information on the work that needs to be done and the timelines involved.  I don't see the point in waiting in, and indeed taking time off work, unless the line is available for the engineer to connect.
    It seems that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing - does anyone know who I can contact that will be able to give me reliable information?

    Thanks for this, I did not receive a reference number, or notice it on the screen when I submitted my form.  I do have an existing complaint reference number from earlier in this frustrating process and I have tried to contact BT using this again.  
    They have insisted on booking an engineer for tomorrow when I can see that no new telephone pole has appeared near the house and it is unlikely that a new line has been installed from the exchange.  I moved into this house last December and the struggle to get a landline and broadband is horrendous.
    I understand that work needs to be done, however I don't understand why:
    A) a survey was not done at the outset and a report made of the requirements for a line
    B) Openreach and BT appear not to communicate at all
    C) I am repeatedly told I will get a line and given installation dates and engineer visits when it will be impossible for the engineer to complete the installation
    D) Whenever I call BT the conversation goes around in circles with the operator insisting that my line is due to be installed and me insisting that there is work to be completed according to the engineer.  I can't seem to get this fact through to them and when I try to get information such as an expected date of completion I am on a hiding to nothing
    In the meantime I am spending a fortune on mobile 3g, with a patchy signal, and in cafes with internet facilities.  I need to work from home and after so many months, my employer is becoming impatient.
    Has anyone tried broadband satellite?  It looks as though this will be my only option.

    I have no idea how my reply could be "misleading". I stated the exact situation: there are millions of apps in the iTunes Store, and providing a comprehensive, accurate list of which apps support which version(s) of iOS would be highly impractical. You can perhaps help with your search by going to AppShopper:

    That will give you at least some starting points, but AppShopper is neither comprehensive nor completely accurate. I've found a number of apps listed there over the time the site has existed that either are no longer offered or which have been updated beyond the iOS version indicated. But it might help.
