Hi,
I had troubles finding out how to make a menu bar, so I went: insert>image objects> Image Placeholder, I uploaded a button I made at a website.. the image works fine, but somehow I have a blue bar around the image... How do i solve this? Also, how do you insert an interactive image (a button that links to another page on my website?

In your CSS add:
a img {
border: none;
and the blue box will go away.
Did you read that post yet? The purple is just the default color for a visited link, but that code in your CSS will remove all borders from the images with links.

And then when you reply to a post you click the camera button at the top of the post window to attach an image.
From your description it sounds like you are adding an event to iCal and it is syncing (which is what its supposed to do). If you see something in iCal on the Mac and you don't want it there, click on it once and then go to Edit > Delete.
If you still can't delete that event:
1. First make an iCal backup: Click on each calendar on the left hand side of iCal one at a time highlighting it's name and then going to File Export > Export and saving the resulting calendar file to a logical location for safekeeping.
2. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
3. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
--- NOTE: To get to "Home > Library" in Lion: Click anywhere on the desktop and then click on the "Go" menu at the top of the computer screen while holding down the "option" key on the keyboard. You will see "Library" in the menu.
4. Launch iCal and test.
If the issue persists:
1. Go to iCal > Quit iCal
2. Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches > com.apple.ical
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache if present)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)

What happens if you print from Illy?
Your printer (driver) may be overly helpful and performs a bit of colour management all by itself. You may have a look and disable any such management in the printer (driver) options.

This is not the standard link problem. I have already put in: a img { border : none; }
That took care of not having a blue border around the image all the time.
My problem is that when I actually click on the image, it flashes with a red outline then turns bright blue and stays there untill I click off the image. Then it turns normal.
I have gone through the CSS and put (border: none) on everything I can think of. These images are in the sidebar, stacked vertically. Each is a link to a page and they are all doing the same thing.
I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

CS6, How do I get rid of the blue box with blue lines through my art.

This is definitely something small but very annoying, Only happens sometimes when I receive art from customers. This issue prevents my Mimaki / Fine cut plug-in from tracing the actual art itself to plot. Instead it just traces the bounding box.. Any help would be awesome. Also just an opinion on this software in general- It would be nice to not have to make 10 steps to do something very simple like removing a box and just leaving the art?

Sorry for not getting back to you guys, I figured it out. All you have to do is hit "EMBED" on the top menu and then you are free to manipulate the art. Thanks for your time though.
Also, It is a printe/ cutter mimaki cjv30-130 prints and plots on one machine. I will use the image and trace it/raster, Then select or draw my cut paths

If 10.7.0 or later...
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences
