When I print out a page from Numbers the Grid lines do not appear. What do I need to do to correct this?

Add them in using the border formatting tool. select the table:
Then open the formatter:
Now do the following:
1) select the border style
2) select the border weight
3) select the border color
4) select which borders

Numbers does not have the 'Set Print Area' feature. Numbers is designed around several tables, each with a purpose. For example, Input Table, Big Database, Intermediate Calculations Table (all of which you may not need to print) and a final Summary (Presentation) Table that you may wish to print. The Summary Table can be on its own Sheet. Arrange objects (Summary Table, Charts [graphs] and whatever) on one Sheet and print only that Sheet.

You can style a table to remove grid lines and only show an "outline" around the table itself.

Hi, I'm using JPA to invoke stored procedure in database, a segment of the sproc is like below:

     print 'create type must be either ''a1'' if you pass in A1 ID, or ''a'' if you pass in User ID'
     select 0 as "Result"
     endI can get the 0 as the result, it means business operation failed currently, but how could I get the message of 'create type must be either ''a1'' if you pass in A1 ID, or ''a'' if you pass in User ID'?
That information is important as it indicates why the operation failed.

A procedure executes whatever code it contains. That code could contain many queries that produce many row counts.
Does your procedure take one or more IN, OUT or IN OUT parameters?

How do I get the printer to work with AirPort?

I have had my printer connected via USB cable to the AirPort for a while, but recently when I had to disconnect the printer for some home improvement, I ended up with problems.
Upon reconnecting the printer to the AirPort, I started receiving this message:
USB Power
A device connected to this Apple Wi-Fi base station's USB port requires more power than this Apple Wi-Fi base station can provide. Plug the device into a power supply if possible, or connect it to a powered USB hub.
My printer is connected to a power source, but I still cannot print to it. I can see the printer when I send something to be printed, but it will not actually print.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get my printer to work again?

Thanks for the detail. The dash separates the "main" and "guest" network.
There are a number of settings that are 2.4 GHz on both networks. The only time the dash separates 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz is on the last 3 settings.
Since the printer specifications available on the HP site show it is a b/g device only, I suspect that the printer does not like the current guest setting of 802.11 b/g/n you are currently using, which is also what it would be if the AEBS was set on Automatic.
Try the following setting:
802.11n only 5 GHz - 802.11 b/g
It's really the only choice that would keep the 5 GHz that you want on the "main" network and possibly allow the printer to connect. Unfortunately, the optimal choice for range and speed is not the setting that you may need to work with the printer.
If the printer still won't connect, I would call it a day and when it comes time for a new printer, look first for an ethernet device or at least an "n" device that will handle 5 GHz if you want a wireless printer. The advantage of an ethernet printer would be that it would also work over your wireless.

I can not print because I am told that I am offline? How do I get the printer online?

I have an HP officejet pro L7580 all-in-one printer and I recently took my laptop away on business and although I can get on the internet, I can not print. I am using windows 7 operating system. When I trouble shoot it states I am offline but when I go to printers and devices the printer is ready with 2 messages in the queue!

Hello JohnLutkenhouse, You might try going to the Control Panel, Devices and Printers, click on the HP Officejst Pro L7580, and a window should open. The printer should have a green check mark on the icon which shows it is the default printer.
When you click on the printer icon, another window should open. Look at the top of this window for the words Printer Offline. Click on this line of text and another window should open. Click on the Printer in the upper left corner and another menu will open, where you should see the menu item Use Printer Offline. Click on this line.
Now just close out of all these windows and see if the printer will now work as you want.

I get emails with attachments of a document that someone has taken a picture of with their iphone (a bill, a receipt, etc). I finally got the HP software to give me a print option, but when I try to print, the printer gives the error message that you must use colorlok paper. When you open up the email attachment that you need to print, which program are the attachments opening up in that are not allowing you to select a different paper type? I have an older machine (hp psc1210v all in one)The copier has been working, but I want to use the printer and scanner portions. I do not have an operating disc.
