Here's my dilema. I have an Ipod Touch and a Nano gen. 6. Both of these were doing great with iTunes until I started using iTunes Match. I had moved my iTunes library over to an external hard drive to save space on my older lap top. I was happy with the set up until iTunes Match came to town. After an auto sync with the Nano, the playlists got all screwed up and the lap top shows the same playlists as the Nano. Now I understand that iTunes Match doesn't work with the Nano. Wish they would have made that clear before promoting and selling me that piece of junk. Some of the playlists are doubled but when I go to the "songs" column instead of having the 860 plus songs that I had before, now it says that I only have 187 songs. What happened, and how to do I recover my songs and playlists? My Touch still has everything from before, but I'm afraid to let it sync with iTunes now because I don't want it to get screwed up and lose all of my music. I have turned off iTunes Match and have no intention of ever using it again. What can I do now?

The last Firefox version that runs on Mac OS X 10.4 is Firefox 3.6.28.

You should call Apple Support and give them your Apple ID so that they can verify how many photos you actually do have backed up in iCloud...
Also, are you able to do an iTunes backup at all? Because that would save all of the photos and allow you to get them onto the new device.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

Did you delete the library ?
If no, press the Option/alt key when you open iTunes and you should see a message and be able to choose a library.

Contacts are not a part of back up.
Contacts are sync with a compatible programme on your computer depending on your operating system (Windows or Mac). For example, Microsoft Outlook (for both Windows and Mac), Windows Contacts (for Windows) and Addressbook (for Mac).
Or contacts are also backed up in iCloud (depending if you chose to do so).
So, sync back the contacts from any of these programmes. If you have not made a backup of your contacts in any of these progammes, then they are gone.

It's difficult to say whether it's stuck or not as the time to restore a backup can depend on many factors. You'll have to decide when you think it's just not continuing. You could try turning the phone off (hold the power button until you see the red off slider, then slide to turn off), then back on to see if that would get it going again.
When you're convinced it's just hung, you can go back to settings and tap Stop Restoring iPhone to stop the restore. You'll then have to try restoring it again (Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup). Be sure it's connected to your charger and wifi while it's restoring the backup.
You might also try the approach posted here by ezjules: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. This seems to have worked for some people who had trouble restoring their photos from an iCloud backup.

you can get your apps back by looking at you download history after signing in in itunes.
for the songs if they were purchased from the itunes store, same method.

Here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information] (copy your whole profile folder).
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!
