How do I hide the microsoft agent character and have only the balloon with audio show up

I would like my LabVIEW program to show only the Microsfot agent balloon with audio but hide the character. Is that possible?

I played with the Agent a while ago and it seems there was a couple characters that were audio only. Of course you could display the balloon text also. But I dn't seem to have them any more.
You might try posting to the Agent news group at microsoft.public.msagent Somebody there is sure to know.

I have had the same problem. It was cured by turning computer off and/or restarting it. I am not sure if once was enough. I think shutting down must cut out whatever it is that blocks bluetooth. Good luck

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

You might have swiped it into another icon by error if you were moving things around. You can find these easily as they have a black background.
Also, to see if you rae running an active Safari, double click on your bottom button and all of the active applicatiosn will come up. You can scroll through these to see if Safari is running (and not lost).

I recently updated to the latest Mac OS, and in the process I seem to have lost the capacity to create PDFs from my HP scanner.
With each prior OS, I could scan and immediately save any scanned file in PDF format. Now it is not allowed, and creates a file
that has nothing but noise, even though the scan software seems to show that each scan is captured correctly (in the scan window,
before I ask it to save the file). When trying to save to PDF, I get a message that tells me that this is a read-only file, which I don't
quite understand, since the same scanning / saving process always created a PDF in the past.

Thanks very much for the response. I checked for new HP software, and learned there is no new version. I also noted when reading about the new OS 10.9 that all driver software is now part of the MAC OS and no longer supplied by the vendor of the printer / scanner. I suspected this is where the trouble is located.....but I did not know how to ascertain what could be done to restore my PDF creation capabilities. Drop Down Box Choose A Name and Have only the first name show up

I am creating a form for health care.
I have a drop down box with names of Physicians... their full names so they can be easily identified. And then subsequent fields that will be populated based off of the choice. However What I need is that after the full name from the drop down list is selected than only the Dr's First name shows up in the box to be distributed through out the file. All the rest of the information is already in using this Java:

How can I get the Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver installed on Win7 LC master?

We recently migrated from a Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012 print server. When recomposing a linked clone pool with the old 2003 server, drivers were taken care of for the printer when the user printed for the first time after desktop recompose. With 2012, any printer using the Point and Print driver doesn't seem to obtain the driver again from the 2012 server. All of our clients are running Windows 7 which means the Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver is not installed in the OS natively.
I apparently need to figure out a way to get this installed on the host image so it trickles down to snapshots when recomposing the linked clone pool but I haven't been able to dig much information on doing this. Does anyone out there have any insight on how to accomplish this? If I recompose a pool now for a user who is using a new Point and Print driver, they get the following message that is resolved by removing the printer from their account and re-adding it:
"The 'Microsoft enhanced Point and Print compatibility driver' printer driver is not installed on this computer. Some printer properties will not be accessible unless you install the printer driver. Do you want to install the driver now?"
I figured the easy solution would be to just install a printer using the Point and Print driver and then remove it...leaving the driver behind (unless it cleaned up after itself). The problem with this is in my testing, even after removing and re-adding a printer that set off installation of this Point and Print driver on the client, any other printer that was using it still required the remove/re-add process in order to work, else I got the same message. That tells me that the driver may be custom for each printer installed?
Color me a little confused. I do NOT like the way that Server 2012 handles printers. I've come across a few other issues as well (such as duplex capabilities not being remember on the print server for a printer) that I never had with the 2003 server.

To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

Each time I restart this exchange server, the Information Store and System Attendant don't start. If It try to manually start the services, I get the follow errors:
Event ID 5003:
Unable to initialize the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service because the clocks on the client and on the server machine are skewed. This may be caused by a time change either in the client or the server machine, and may require a reboot of that machine. Other than that, verify that your domain is properly configured and is currently online.
Event ID 1005:
Unexpected error The clocks on the client and server machines are skewed. ID no: 80090324 Microsoft Exchange System Attendant occurred.
The clocks on the domain controllers and the exchange server are set to the same time zones. As well, all three clocks are in sync down to the second. Any ideas on what's causing this and how to fix it?

Run this Command from the Exchange Server
Net time \\ADServerName /Set
and confirm the action,
and then you need to restart the service
Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service
and confirm you are not getting the Error 4001 in the event Viewer.

I am trying to import data from an excel spreadsheet which is save on application sharing server. When I try to save same file locally (On my desktop) my package has no problem to read it. Problem comes when I change the file path to the share location

I am trying to run this package as an sql server agent job and server is installed on my Machine. I have created proxy account with my own credential to execute it. I have full excess to the spread sheet and can open it in an excel program. Please
suggest what could be the reason why sql job is not able to access this spreadsheet. I can think of below reasons
File is password protected and I am not using its password to unlock it?
My domain account is a part of It Admin group with high previllages
when I installed my SQL server I installed it as a standalone instance of SQL server?

Based on the error message that "The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file ''. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.", there are two causes:
The account that SQL Agent is using does not have the correct permissions for the file or for the folder that contains the file.
Another process or user has the file open.
The following resolutions correspond to the previous list of causes:
Since you use a network path to the file (UNC), check the account permissions on the share, the file, and the folder.
The "another user" may be Microsoft Visual InterDev. Close any Visual InterDev projects that contain a data connection to the file. Please close all instances of excel file and re-run the package.
Besides, we can use a tool like
SQL Server Profiler to see what is happening when you run the package.

Reformatting, will i be able to keep Microsoft Office as I have lost the CD

I want to reformat my MacBook to how it was when i bought it, but I have lost the CD to re-install Microsoft Office once I have reformatted it.
Is there a way I can keep Microsoft Office without the CD's to re-install it once I have restored my Mac?

I don't think you mean "reformat" You probably mean you want to reinstall Leopard.
You must have a backup before proceeding, a SuperDuper clone is perfect.
You seem to indicate that you want to erase everything and install Leopard from scratch. You will lost everything on your HD that way unless it's backed up.

Backup and use the migrate tool after installing Leopard. But you might be asked for the original CD when you transfer Office.

The "Microsoft Store" app and local account

With Windows 8.1 Update,
I use some local account.
When I log on to one of them, I open
the "Microsoft Store" app and
I access through a Microsoft account.
At this point, I noticed that my local account
is completely switched to the Microsoft account.
How come? How do I prevent this?

Hi Balubeto,
Firstly, follow these steps to disconnect the Microsoft account:
1. Open change PC settings;
2. Click Accounts link in the right navigation bar;
3. The below screen appear:
click Disconnect , you will switch to the local account.
After that, if you want to access Windows Store, follow this method to avoid making the whole PC switching to the Microsoft Account:
Click Sign in each app separately instead (not recommended) link at the bottom of the page, you will connect the Microsoft account just to this app.
