How do i list all word.docs for deletion of selected items

want to clean out hard drive and want to isolate all word docs, excel sheets, etc.

Search for them in Finder.
If not already set, open Finder Preferences and set it to search the current folder (Advanced tab).
Select the top-most folder you wish to search and type word into the search field.
Select Word Document from the provided tokens.
You should get a list of all your Word Document. You can do with them whatever you like from those search results.
Ooops. I missed the rest of the story in the text:
To get all the types, you can add multiple kinds to a search.
In Finder, type Cmd-f
In the row with Kind selected, hold down the Option key and click the button that has the ellipsis in it (…)--it was the + button.
Add rows and change the to Kind is Other and enter the Microsoft document “kinds"
Delete the first criteria row above the Any list

Yes, there is. Type cmd-I (Get Info), select Pages from the list (or navigate to it), then click the Change All button. That's all there is to it.

Hello Christian,
If you are referring to the DOWNLOAD on an interactive report that is set to download a blob (for example), you can change the word Download to be anything you wish in the Download Format Mask. The very last entry is the Download Message.
DOWNLOAD:TABLE_NAME:BLOB_CONTENTS_COLUMN:PRIMARY_KEY_1:PRIMARY__KEY_2:MIME_Type_COlumn:FILENAME_COLUMN:LAST_UPDATE_DATE:CHARACTER_SET:CONTENT_DISPOISITION:DOWNLOAD_LINK_TEXT
For example:
DOWNLOAD:TABLE_Of_CONTENTS:TOC_PAGES:BOOK_ID:::PDF_FILENAME:MOD_DATE::ATTACHMENT:Click Here To Download This Book
The message "Click Here To Download This Book" will appear for each link.

How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?
I saw a note, which says the following:
"WebLogic Server does not support multi-domain interaction using either the Administration Console, the weblogic.Admin utility, or WebLogic Ant tasks. This restriction does not, however, explicitly preclude a user written Java application from accessing multiple domains simultaneously."
In my case, I just want to list all the domains, is that possible by using any scripts?

If you use WLS Node Manager and the Config Wizard was used to create the domains, then the list of domains should be in a location like this:
<MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.domains
Enterprise Manager Grid Control also has support for multi-domain management of WLS in a console.

If you select a word file in the Finder and do File>Get Info you will see a section in there where you can specify which application should be used to open files of that type.

I don't think any conversions are needed, just get yourself an external USB 3.5" floppy drive and drag the documents onto your iMac's HD. You should be able to locate one on Ebay or maybe even Amazon. To open them you will need something that reads .doc files like Pages, MS Word for Mac etc..

You can sign into iCloud.com from a web browser on your PC.
Open Pages and drag the Word document in or click the Gear on the top right and upload.
This will convert it to a Pages document. It will be accessible to you through iCloud and the Pages app on your iOS devices. You can always redownload the file from iCloud as a Word document.
As with any document conversion, this may alter the formatting.
