How do I make a Spry menu work on an iPod?

Hi there,
As the Spry menu will only appear on hover, it is not accessible on an iPod/iPhone - is there anyway to make them work differently so that when you touch them on the iPod screen, the drop down menu appears instead of taking you to a new page?

I have inserted a Vertcal Spry Menu on this page. It functions perfectly in Safari, Firefox and IE 8. However it does not appear in previous versions of IE.

You will have to update your spry code (do not know how (possibly in editing the css), but it is causing the problem).
If you have CS3 or 4, you can use the spry updater extension from -

Delete your old spry files then apply the spry updater by selecting, Site - Spry Updater - then select the options req'd.
Check your page works, modify the spry css as required, checking the site in the browsers after every change.

I want to be able to use my old iPhone like an iPod touch, but when I ran a sync it wouldn't let me do anything without a sim card and now it's useless and empty. There's ways to activate your phone to use it like an ipod, not available thru apple. It's really easy to do, if all you want to do is activate it without a SIM. Try googling for it.. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post a link or anything or if that's against the rules because it's not supported by apple... PM me if you want I guess and I can help or answer other questions.

I have had this same problem for weeks now with my 4S. I just got a new 5S after being extremely frustrated and the same thing - no sounds. After searching posts all over, I couldn't find a solution. I just told my friend of the issue and he asked "Do you have the Do Not Distrub on?" I didn't even know such a function existed. Upon looking that was exactly the issue.
To resolve, go to Settings> Do Not Disturb> Manual. If it is green, turn it off. You will now get phone calls and text alerts.
This functionality is also on your quick access utility menu (slide up menu). I assume this is how it was enabled on my phone.
I will post on other sites since I searched for weeks for this solution and didn't see it anywhere. Good luck!

HTML forms don't do anything. You need a form processing script to gather and process form data. Which server-side scripts does your web hosting plan support -- php, asp, asp.net, perl? This will determine which scripts you can use with your form.

I am using the accordion feature on all my pages as a
navigation aid. It has three panels. When you refresh the page the
panel goes back to the default pane... Is there a way of
controlling this so that the browser can remember the pane that is
open (say set a variable, cookie, other?)

Vertical Spry menu works in IE7 but not Safari

My vertical SPRY menu works well in various versions of IE
but when I preview in Safari it has an odd way of creating the

i just figured the problem and has nothing to do with changing those integers. in the audio MIDI setting (app in utilities folder) for the c920 make sure the format is set to 24000hz, and it will finally work. if its set to 16000hz or 32000hz it wont work. i actually went backand put the integer settings to its original settings. 24integer for mac and 16 for c920.

Can you make a Spry Menu Bar a snippet?

Is there a way to make a Spry menu bar a snippet so you can
edit the snippet and have it updated on all pages?

The include method is good, but make sure to use root
relative links in the menu so that if you place the menu on a page
in a sub folder of your site that the links will still point to the
correct place.
If you are using Dreamweaver, it may be possible to place the
menu into a non-editable region of a template and updates will be
made in all of the child page. Or you might be able to make it into
a Library item (again with root relative links), and then changes
to the library item will update throughout the site. With both of
these options, you'll need to upload the changed pages, so these
aren't as quick and easy as the include method that V1 Fusion
suggests.
If you edit the Library item and the include file, you'll see
in Dreamweaver that the menus are not styled, that's because the
file that you're editing does not have the CSS file(s) linked to
it. You should be able to add a Design Time style sheet ( IN CS3:
Text -> CSS Styles -> Design-time... ) to assist you in
seeing it like what it would look in Dreamweaver without the
library/include option.

So I think that's ok? For the rest, all I changed in the spry menu is that I multiplied the z-index twice (menu and submenus) by 10. But that can't be the problem...
