How do i match a color exactly from an .eps file?

How do I match a color in pages exactly from a jpg or eps file?

The Color Selector has an eyedropper tool, the magnifying glass next to the color field at the top. Click on it and anywhere on screen to pick up a color.
Why not just open the eps in Pages, which will convert it to a .pdf?
.eps/ai/pdf files may have spot colors and they can't be matched exactly in Pages but will print through from the .pdf file as a separate plate.
jpegs do not have an "exact color", they are made up of a cluster of different colored pixels.
Also there will be differences depending on whether the color you are selecting is RGB or CMYK.

  • How can i get the all values from the Property file to Hashtable?

    how can i get the all values from the Property file to Hashtable?
    ok,consider my property file name is pro.PROPERTIES
    and it contain
    8326=sun developer
    4306=sun java developer
    3943=java developer
    how can i get the all keys & values from the pro.PROPERTIES to hashtable
    plz help guys..............

    The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();
    InputStream is = new FileInputStream("tivoli.properties");
    props.load(is);

  • How can I create multiple QR Codes from an Excel File?

    Hi there,
    I am currently trying to set up business cards with a QR Code on the back of each card. Therefore I have an excel spreadsheet, which contains all the data necessary for the business card like name, function, e-mail adress,... the data is then filled in automatically by using the standard function with tags for each column (e.g. table column name is filled in as <<name>> in the specific location on the business card and once executed it is matched with the data from the excel file).
    Is there anything which could help me to automate the personalization of the QR Codes?
    All the best

    For free? Not at the moment. CC does have the ability to create QR codes but only one at a time. In CS6 (perhaps earlier versions?), regular poster/advanced scripter Jongware devised a script to prepare a QR code but again, could only do one at a time.
    However, someone did build on Jongware's QR code to do this from an InDesign file that had the necessary information in tagged text boxes and would prepare QR codes accordingly. However, it would leave them in the InDesign file (e.g. not separate EPS/PDFs).
    So, a long workaround would be:
    install the script and read the thread on the adobe forums (jongware's QR code plus the additional improvement): http://forums.adobe.com/message/4787823#4787823
    data merge the current data into the indesign file using the similar structure as the fourth poster in that post had written
    once all the QR codes are written, create a PDF of the file and then use one of various methods to break up the PDF into single page files: http://colecandoo.wordpress.com/2013/07/13/breaking-up-is-hard-to-do-indesign-files-into-i ndividual-pdfs-that-is/
    It's a lot of work to generate multiple QR codes. A paid solution offered by either Meadows DPS or Woodwing (two companies I have no affiliation with whatsoever) or any other plug-in provider for that matter: http://www.adobe.com/products/indesign/indepth.displayTab3.html may be an alternative that is worth pursuing.

    I know if we use UTL_FILE.get_line we can read the whole line...but i need to read the tab separated value separately.....If it's a text file then UTL_FILE will only allow you to read it a line at a time. It is then up to you to split that string up (search for split string on this forum for methods) into it's individual components.
    If the text file contains a standard structure on each line, i.e. it is a fixed delimited structure, then you could use external tables to read the data instead.

  • How do i remove the exif metadata from my jpg file produced with a digital camera photo?

    How do i remove the exif metadata from my jpg file produced with a digital camera photo?

    The excellent and free utility Irfanview has the option to remove the EXIF data.
    Simply open and the file and do a Save, or Save As with the original name.
    Surprisingly, the default is to not keep the original EXIF data.

  • When I export an indesign document the graphics are missing from the eps file.

    When I export an indesign document the graphics are missing from the eps file.

    The why it isn't working can be a number of reasons. While I never have exported an EPS out of ID before, I just tried it and it worked fine.
    What "graphics" are missing? I used bitmaps, native drawn ID vector, lines and a placed EPS file. Came into AI as an opened EPS fine.
    Links up to date? For items not hitting the EPS, are they on a layer set to non-printing?
    In the export dialog,General tab, PostScript Level 3? Data format set to ASCII? On the Advanced tab, Send Data set to All? OPI off?

    I've tried various methods with no success.
    And those were...? You need to be specific. Generally though one would simply install the profile file rather than jump hoops to extract it from an image, where it may be incomplete or lack other critical info like other profiles or specific printer or monitor information it may reference.

  • How do I remove e-mail addresses from a csv file referencing a numbers doc

    Greetings! I hope someone out there can help me. I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to numbers...
    My Issue:
    I'm attempting to sending out a large e-mail blast via software called hoolie, it seems to be working amazingly well except for the fact that I've reached our Gmail accounts daily limit which I had zero idea existed.
    So about 1100 emails were sent and I still have to send about 1500 emails left to be sent. The software has no ability to resend to the failed e-mail addresses, so I'm left to my own devices...
    My Goal:
    I want to be able to subtract out the 1100 e-mail address from the csv file I have with all the addresses. Once I subtract out the e-mail addresses I can then resend the blast and throttle it so it takes a day or so and won't freak out google gmail...
    How can I accomplish this? I have the orginal CSV file with all the names and e-mail addresses and I have a new numbers doc in which I pasted the e-mails that were succesfully sent...
    Thoughts? Suggetsions?
    thanks in advance!

    Are you suggesting that it sent it to a random sample of the email addresses, that it did not start at the beginning and go row by row until it failed?  If that is the case, you can import the CSV file into Numbers, paste your list of sent addresses in another column or another table of that document, then use COUNTIF to look for duplicates.
    The best I can do is an example.Your table will no doubt be different so you'll have to rejigger the formula.
    Importing your CSV file will create column B
    Insert two new columns, C and D
    Use Copy/Paste to copy/paste your list of sent addresses from your other document into column D
    The formula in column C is =IF(COUNTIF(D,B)>0,"Was Sent","")
    Once it has done its thing, sort by column C to get all the "Was Sent" rows together. Delete them. Delete column C, Delete column D. Share as a CSV.

  • How to input data into an arraylist from a text file?

    I am trying to take data from a text file and put that data into an arraylist. First here is the text file:
    [item1, 10, 125.0, item2, 10, 12.0, item3, 20, 158.0]
    3
    4530.0

    2
    56088.5
    [item7, 84, 34.5, item6, 103, 0.5, item8, 85, 1.36]
    3
    3065.1The text between the [ ] is the output from my arraylists. I have three arraylists. The first [ ] belongs to arraylist A, the second to arraylist B, and the third to arraylist C. The format of the arraylists is this:
    <item name>,<# in stock>,<value of one item>

    Thanks but I figured it out. Heres a sample of the code i used to solve my problem:

                   BufferedReader inC = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(inputFileWarehouseC));
                   //Warehouse details BufferedReader.
                   BufferedReader inDetails = new BufferedReader(new FileReader(inputFileDetails));
                   //Will hold values in warehouse arraylists.
                   String lineA = null;
                   String lineB = null;
                   String lineC = null;

  • How to remove noisy data points read from a text file

    Reading data measurements taken in from a txt file.  How do I get rid of noise aside from going into the text file and deciding point by point what to delete.

    Well going in point by point and deleting is certainly one way of going about it. Of course that would defeat the entire purpose of having this great programming enviroment that is capable of doing that kind of thing for us.
    Is your text file small enough to upload? Obviously you know what the criteria are for judging whether or not a data point is acceptable so it should be simple enough to program. Give us a bit more information and I can assure you there will be a race between LabVIEW experts to see who can post the cleanest, simplest, and fastest piece of code that will do what you need. My wager is on altenbach, but there are a few others here that are almost as impressive.

  • How can i read all the lines from a text file in specific places and use the data ?

    string[] lines = File.ReadAllLines(@"c:\wmiclasses\wmiclasses1.txt");
    for (int i = 0; i < lines.Length; i++)
    if (lines[i].StartsWith("ComboBox"))
    And this is how the text file content look like:
    ComboBox Name cmbxOption
    Classes Win32_1394Controller
    Classes Win32_1394ControllerDevice
    ComboBox Name cmbxStorage
    Classes Win32_LogicalFileSecuritySetting
    Classes Win32_TapeDrive
    What i need to do is some things:
    1. Each time the line start with ComboBox then to get only the ComboBox name from the line for example cmbxOption.
       Since i have already this ComboBoxes in my form1 designer i need to identify where the cmbxOption start and end and when the next ComboBox start cmbxStorage.
    2. To get all the lines of the current ComboBox for example this lines belong to cmbxOption:
    Classes Win32_1394Controller
    Classes Win32_1394ControllerDevice
    3. To create from each line a Key and Value for example from the line:
    Classes Win32_1394Controller
    Then the key will be Win32_1394Controller and the value will be only 1394Controller
    Then the second line key Win32_1394ControllerDevice and value only 1394ControllerDevice
    4. To add to the correct belonging ComboBox only the value 1394Controller.
    5. To make that when i select in the ComboBox for example in cmbxOption the item 1394Controller it will act like i selected Win32_1394Controller.
    For example in this event:
    private void cmbxOption_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
    InsertInfo(cmbxOption.SelectedItem.ToString(), ref lstDisplayHardware, chkHardware.Checked);
    In need that the SelectedItem will be Win32_1394Controller but the user will see in the cmbxOption only 1394Controller without the Win32_
    This is the start of the method InsertInfo
    private void InsertInfo(string Key, ref ListView lst, bool DontInsertNull)
    That's why i need that the Key will be Win32_1394Controller but i want that the user will see in the ComboBox only 1394Controller without the Win32_

    Hello,
    Here is a running start on getting specific lines in the case lines starting with ComboBox. I took your data and placed it into a text file named TextFile1.txt in the bin\debug folder. Code below was done in
    a console app.
    using System;
    using System.IO;
    using System.Linq;
    namespace ConsoleApplication1
    internal class Program
    private static void Main(string[] args)
    var result =
    from T in File.ReadAllLines(Path.Combine(AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory, "TextFile1.txt"))
    .Select((line, index) => new { Line = line, Index = index })
    .Where((s) => s.Line.StartsWith("ComboBox"))
    select T
    ).ToList();
    if (result.Count > 0)
    foreach (var item in result)
    Console.WriteLine("Line: {0} Data: {1}", item.Index, item.Line);
    Console.ReadLine();
