How do i move EVERYTHING from iTunes on my home computer to my new macbook?

I want to move the entire library, apps, and everything so that i can just sync my iphone to my new macbook and have everything stay the same. i need this ability because i am moving away to college.

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

You should be able to download a codec that will allow Windows Media Player to play non-protected AAC files from the iTunes library. I believe this function is built in to WMP for Windows 7 and 8.
