How do I move text in apple pages for icloud

I'm trying to highlight text and then click and drag it to another location in my document. Doesn't work. Does the icloud version work differently than the download program? Thanks.

double click selects a word
triple click selects a paragraph
Once selected you can hold down the cursor momentarily and drag and drop it or you can command c copy, command v paste to where you want it.
Move the cursor with the arrow keys.
Add option to jump words/lines.
Add shift to select as you go.
command shift down arrow selects to the end of the document
These are all standard Mac keyboard shortcuts so worth learning, they become second nature.
Look under the Help menu for a full set of Keyboard Shortcuts.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you delete the existing account you will get an option to keep the iCloud data on your device.
Before deleting the account, save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll.

As soon as I posted, Ifigured this one out on my own by going into user settings and changing the default there. Then I was able to delete the default @mac account. Thanks!

How do i move an image in pages? I copied and pasted it onto the document but when I try to drag it, it just jumps back to where it was.

All you have to do is command click out side the text zone and make sure there is no clicking line to wright text, and then just go insert/choose/ and then choose the image you want. It should then let you move it around. Hope this helped.

Hi,
You need to create main Window on second page also.
And in Form Attributes..there is an option for Next page.
So there you mention the next page name.
This will solve the problem.

Where are these movies? what format do they have?
You'll need to Import them into iTunes, and sync them through there if they aren't in itunes already.
Yoiu may need to convert them to a playable format for the iPad. If its a video format itunes support, you ncan make playable versions for iPad from within iPad.
Alternatively if you find a Video App such as Moli Player you can import them into the App through iTunes File sharing as well without having to change their format. Moli player is capable of playing many types of videos and audio formats.

How do I move all my ipad photos to icloud? Since the last software update none of my ipad pictures upload to the cloud. i just want to empty all the picture to the cloud and free up the ipad.

You turn iCloud Photo Library on in Settings > iCloud > Photos. However it doesn't "empty" the pictures to the cloud. The most you can do to free up space using iCloud is to turn on Optimize Storage to keep a smaller device-sized version of the photos on your iPad.
