How do I paginate a long table?

I imported a file from Excel that had page breaks in a long (vertically) table, but they did not import. This is a common exercise in Excel, but I cannot locate how to insert a page break or properly paginate a long table in Pages.

If you print your long table, it will be divided into pages with margins, headers and footers that you define in the Sheet Inspector. If you want to preview how your printout will look, switch to Print View, as Wayne advises. The reason that you don't now see the page breaks is that the Blank Template you are using defaults to Sheet View, as opposed to Print View. In the lower left portion of your Numbers window you have the view controls:
This single icon indicates that you are in Sheet View mode. If you click it your view will switch to Page View and you will see:
To adjust what is on a particular page can be done by adjusting margins or zoom or by splitting up the table into page size parts. Spllitting the table is far easier than you may guess, but shouldn't be done if you have plans to use Sort and other table-wide features in the future on this data.

How do I make a long table fit on one page?

I do a community newsletter, one page of which is a directory of residents. On this page, I have a table with 3 columns: name, address, and phone. There are 61 rows, which is too big to fit on an 8 ½ x 11 page. As people move in and out, I need to be able to change the name for the particular address and re-sort by name. Retaining this ability, how can I make this fit on one page? Ideally, I would be able to "break" the table into two parts of 30/31 rows each, with each part side by side on the 8 ½ x 11 page. I can't find a way to do this. Any help would be appreciated. I am working in Yosemite 10.10.1, and Pages 5.5.1. I have also created a Numbers 3.5 version of this table, but still cannot find a way to do what I want to do.

Do you have to print it, or are you sending this out via E-mail/PDF?
The fix below, should work, either way:
If you are actually not printing it, and are E-mailing/posting online, Export as PDF, and E-mail address will still be active...
If it must fit on a smaller page, for printing or for whatever reason, drag the aforementioned PDF into a 8.5 x 11 document, open Inspecter to Metrics, click to not constrain proportions, resize to fit then Export again as a PDF. The E-mail addresses will remain active. Here's screenshot of one with 61 rows, I made in less that 2 minutes as a mock-up. Links/E-mail still works.

How can i split a long table (forecast 2013 - 2043) and import it into pages?

I have a problem with numbers 09. I made a business plan including a cashflow forecast for 30 years. Now i need to split the table to export it into a pages document. Everytime I tried to cut or copy only parts of the table, the formulas dont work anymore.
I would really appreciate suggestions!!!

Try copying the whole table, then paste into a new (temporary) table using the menu item "Edit > Paster Values"... then copy this to Pages as needed

2) I have to upload the extracted Project and it sub object data to ECC 6.0 system , i am able to achieve this by using BAPI's BAPI_PROJECTDET_CREATE, BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN and BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN. I am not able to load the longtext for the same, is there any way to load the long text .

I don't think there is any BAPI to do it.
We are doing it by read_text & edit_text . required fields for text name can be fetched by following select

The SQL language has long offered the ability to apply set operations (UNION, INTERSECT, and MINUS) to the result sets of queries. In Oracle Database 10g, you can now use those same high-level, very powerful operators against nested tables (and only nested tables) in your PL/SQL programs and on nested tables declared as columns inside relational tables.
Let's take a look at some of the syntax needed to do this, starting with UNION.
First, I create a schema-level nested table type:

How do I paginate a TextGrid?

I'm working on a textgrid that (depending on a user's search string) can have up to 50,000 rows. The problem is that if a user searches an empty string, all 50,000 rows are returned to be displayed, which obviously takes a very long time. Sometimes, it never displays because the data is just too much. Someone suggested that breaking it up into pages might be a solution, by only loading the rows on a given page the user is looking at and loading the next set of rows (say in groups of 1000 rows) only when the user moves on to the next page. Is there a way to break up a huge textgrid into pages?

I have downloaded the workspace containing the sample application from the address you provided. I have done the following changes to the application:
1. Created AdcsResourceBundle_fo.java in the same package as AdcsResourceBundle.java
2. Configured locale in faces-config.xml

    </locale-config>Indeed the messages are taken from AdcsResourceBundle_fo.java (I've tested the PanelCollection), but the problem with the number inputText is still there.
Test scenario:
Drag and drop DepartmentsView1 from Data Control to showDetailItem 1 in Table.jspx -> Create -> Forms -> ADF Form
When the page is run, the 'Splash' image and 'Loading..' remains on the browser window and nothing else happens. And again, no messages in the server log.
Is there anything else that needs to be configured?

Using tables - wanting to create long table that runs from page to page

I want to create a table to which I can add rows as I work (alphabetizing). The final table will end up being 6-7 pages long. Inserting a page break did nothing--all rows below where the page break is still disappear and do not go onto the next page. This is a Word feature that I'm hoping I can have on appleworks. Does it exist?
I cannot put Word on this computer since I'm not running an OS high enough (I have 10.2.8)

Just wondering if you found your answer. I am having the same issue. I did finally figure out after several days of reading searches how to add pages to your table which is in >Format > document > then select the box for how many pages you want to go down or across in the box to the lower right corner. Then you can insert cells by highlighting the row by holding option key as you drag across the row & in Table click insert cells. Hope that helps. You can determine whether the table is horz. or vert. in > file > page set up. Click on the image of the page/man that displays the orientation that most closely fits your needs.
However, the problem that I'm continuing to have is that the >insert page break command does not appear to work in Tables. It remains greyed out no matter what I've tried. Short of trying some "tell" command that a fellow using 10.4. in Pages suggested. I'm in Appleworks 6 running on my iBook, as you are. I saw a reply from ms Peggy suggesting that there is some difficulty in getting that to work, and so far I would have to agree. Her idea was to add cells such that they would fall over the page break, which you can see using the >page view command in the Window drop down menu. But that would not be so neat with the lines running vertically from the top of page to the first box. I guess it could be squeezed down to the size of the "break". Is that all there is ?

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

If you want to delete the rows in the table control and simultaneously delete it from the database table, then you can implement a 'DELETE' functionality specific to your table control. Have a MARK field (you will find that in the screen attributes of the table control -> give a name for the MARK field, you will find an additional MARK column at the beginning of your table control). You can check whatever rows you want to delete from the table control, call the delete module.

The point is that, I want the user to fill the form inside the Test view and click submit, and when the submit is clicked, I want a new entry in the new table to be created. But first of course I need to create the table. Should I create it using SQL query
through MySQL workbench? If yes, then how can I connect the new table with my code? I guess I need some DB context but don't know how to do it. If someone can post some code example, I would be glad.

I see your code.. there is no other way than using for all entries for your situation.. how ever i saw ur code and a small recommandation in the change of code.

How to send data from internal table to the shared folder in ABAP

Hi experts,
My requirement is to transfer data from a file to shared folder. i just did reading data from a file to a internal table. Now i want to send this internal table data into a shared folder which is "
xxx\y\z....".
I do not have any idea on how to send data from internal table to the shared folder path.
can anybody please help me out how to do this?

Where that folder is located, its on presentation server i.e. desktop or application server.
If its on presentation server, use FM GUI_UPLOAD.
If its on application server, then use DATASET functions. Have a look at below link.
