How do I put rectangles in a group (JavaScript)?

Hello,
I have a JavaScript script that draws several graphics rectangles on a page. I would like to put them in a group, the same as I would manually with a selection and ctrl-G.
I have tried many, many approaches but am unable to do it. I would be grateful if someone could either post a code fragment or sketch an outline of what I should do.

You can also use an array. For example, say you had a mix of items that met various criteria, you could do something like this:
myPage = app.documents[0].pages[0];
groupies = new Array();
myPIs = myPage.pageItems;
for (var j = myPIs.length - 1; j >= 0; j--) {
if (myPIs[j].label == "GroupMe") {
groupies.push(myPIs[j]);
myGroup = myPage.groups.add(groupies);
I've just used one criterion here, but you could have as many tests as you want within the loop.

Generally, in iTunes, all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist to keep things together. For older iPods each track from the same album should have the same artist, or be marked as a compilation where appropriate. Are you sure that you are not talking about the Kindle App? I might be missing it, but I don't see an Archive section in iBooks categories.
You can create a section for the books that you have read in collections in the iBooks app.
Tap on Collections, tap New - name it Archived if that is what you want to call it. Tap Done, then tap the bookshelf anywhere. Tap the Edit button, tap the books that you want to move to Archved - tap Move in the upper left and select Archived.

How do I put myself in the staff group?

I have been trying to optimize my iMac 24 ever since I upgraded to OS X Lion. Tons of SBBOD and general slowness. I went through all the basics and things are much better. This included booting in to the recovery partition and resetting my home folders permissions back to the defaults for Lion. I did this because I noticed that the permissions on my stuff in my home folder still had me in the group that was identified by my username - a throw back to a prior version of OS X.
After running the procedure, here is what my home directory looks like:

I did successfully reset all the permissions in my home folder to what Lion expects as above. Popping a terminal, I ran the 'id' command and this what I see:

How do I put myself back in to the staff group? I know that I have to do it via the shell - just don't know to do it. Also, once I do manage to put myself back in to the staff group should I delete the gid 502(hstan)?
I do admit that things did indeed smooth out after I reset my home folder to the default permissions. Just stuck on this last bit of cleanup work.

Realize this thread has been dead for a while, but I was running into permission problems on 10.8.0 and managed to find this fix. I can't remember when I last did a clean install, but it was before the transition to staff as the primary group, so the account is pretty old.
I used Directory Utility to change the primary group on my account (twillis) from twillis to staff as described. I then rebooted into the recovery partition and ran resetpassword to repair the home directory permissions and also rain repair permissions from Disk Utility. Finally, I used chgrp to manually change groups on some things like apps and frameworks that were in twillis (this looked like the right group to use based on context). Process went smoothly and worked as expected with one glitch.
I have now found a few situations where files are still created or changed to the twillis group. According to id I am no longer in that group (as I would expect):

As an example, unzipping a zip file with the Finder creates files in the group twillis even if the zip file and its contents were in staff. Another example involves AlbumData.xml in the iPhoto Library package: I can chgrp it to staff, open Aperture, edit a picture, and quit and AlbumData.xml will be back in twillis on exit (doing a simlar set of steps with iPhoto though does not change it).
Should I have removed the twillis group with Directory Utility too (using the "-" button right under the left column of the window) --- twillis is showing up listed in Users&Groups too in a "groups" section after the accounts, so perhaps I can delete it from there too? Or is there some other state that is still associating the twillis group with the twillis account that I also need to change?

If you "Get Info" on the tracks that are part of your collection, you can use the Compilation option in iTunes.
In iTunes 8 and later, you find the option to mark multiple items as "Part of a compilation" in the Options tab of the Multiple Item Information window.

How to move Tablespace from One disk group to another disk group in RAC

Hi All,
I have 11gR2 RAC env on Linux.
As ofnow I have problem with disk group. I have 3 disk group which is almost full - 98%. I have added one NEW disk group and want to move some of the Tablespace(TBS) from OLD disk group to NEW diskgroup and make some free space in OLD disk group.
Can any one suggest me how to move TBS from one disk group to another disk grup without shutting down the instance.
DB is in Noarchive mode.

2. You're taking tablespace offline
3. Suppose you're moving a file of size 10GB(or any larger filesize) to another disk group
4. Now after moving the file, you're trying to bring the tablespace online............NOW
tablespace will need recovery. if the required data is inside the SGA then it is ok. But if the data has been flushed, then?
if step 2 and 3 has taken significant time, then most probably you'll not be able to bring that tablespace online.

I am trying to install INN, the news server on OS X.4.8 (non-server), but it requires me to create a user and group, both called 'news'.
I know this has something to do with using Netinfo to create them, but I am logged in remotely via ssh and I can't use Netinfo Manager.

The favorites portlet is set up to work this way automatically. You put one version on a page, and the customizations are stored for each individual user. So the same portlet displays different favorites based on the logged in user. At this point, there is no way to define favorites for a group.
