how do i remove a description on a replicat? It shows up in 'ggsci, info all' and i want to remove it. It looks like this:
REPLICAT STOPPED namexxx 00:00:00 00:00:04
Description "(null)"
I tried this:
GGSCI (qlxdodsr001.qaapollogrp.edu) 3> alter replicat namexxx description null;
I get this error:
ERROR: Missing begin quote for DESCRIPTION entry.
So i tried this: alter replicat namexxx description "(null)"; and ended up with above.
You have to use double quotes to add a description so something has to be listed, but how do i get rid of it?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The description is now empty... but it's not the same as creating the replicat without description (in this case you haven't got the description line. I don't know how to do it

Let me see if I've gotten this right! You want to remove an account from BOTH machines? Do this for your new machine first, then for the other.
Click the Apple logo on the top left of the screen, System Preferences, Users and Groups (under Systems), unlock the lock in the window if its locked (you need to know the password), select the user that you wish to remove, and click the - sign next to the + sign for Login options. A window will pop up with some options. Select Delete this user and securely, and click 'Delete user'.
After this, do an update from the App Store.
Thats all there is to it.
For the other machine repeat the process except for one thing. Before you delete the user in this case YOU, you will have to give Administrator priviledges to your son bu checking the box 'Allow user to administer this computer'.
Do NOT do anything from Finder ... if you dont know how to fix the consequences of the problems caused.
There is no need to unauthorize your iTunes account on your new machine. Do it on the old machine though.

No, not unless it is simply a network connection.
How is your IPTV being provided.. if it is using a separate vlan or separate vpi/vci in the adsl connection. Who is your ISP?
Is the TP-Link ADSL?
Is the IPTV using a separate voice channel on adsl?
Or a different vlan.
Sorry but it is something where a definite answer is not possible unless you provide all the details.

I found some resources that I think might help with the visibility of your IMAP email folders on your iPad and Mac.
On your iPad, you may need to follow the steps in this article to make sure your folders are visible:

On your Mac, I am not sure if you have the sidebar enabled, but you can enable it using the steps in the article below. When this is showing, you should see your email account listed near the bottom with a triangle next to it. When the triangle is pointing down, it should show your folders:

When I had Photos issues I was able to find the old pre-upgrade photo library using finder in the same location as the new library and used the open with option and chose iPhoto.

I was running quicken 2010 on my iMac using Fusion. I upgraded to Lion and my version of Fusion is not capable of running on Lion. I want to copy my Quicken data files onto portable medium but i can't seem to find them using Finder. How can I find these files?

As stated, the Quicken files are inside the virtual machine's "hard drive". If you still have Fusion 3 installed, you might be able to mount the virtual hard drive directly:

The catch is that the version of MacFUSE that is installed with the version of Fusion you have may not be working on Lion. If you're willing, you could update MacFUSE and the mounting of the virtual hard drive will work.
Probably simpler to download and install Fusion 4. It has a trial mode so if you just need to extract the Quicken documents, you'll be able to at least run the virtual machine for a few days.
Note: If you do run your virtual machine in the trial, but are not planning to purchase Fusion 4, when prompted, do NOT upgrade your virtual machine. If you do upgrade the virtual machine, you won't be able to start your virtual machine in older versions of Fusion.

Select each photo in the smart collection with the missing question mark icon. Use Cmd+Click or Shift+Click on the first and last if they are all in a consecutive block. Then click top left on the Catalog tab and choose All Photographs. Confirm from the information strip (above the filmstrip) that you are in All Photographs and the number of photos you have selected and then use the menu:
Photo >> Remove Photos From Catalog

Q: How to set the error description/error message, If we don't have address info. for the requested EmpId?

Hi Sara,
You would have mapped the response mapping from the result of the JDBC select to the outbound message type.
In the response mapping, if you can check if the value of the resultset is "null", which means there is no address for the ID. In that case you can change the result to be some custom error message.
You would be needing to use the standard boolean function "if" and a standard "Constant" function, where you would enter your custom error message and map the output of the if condition to the source/outbound element node.

Open the itunes app on your mac and sign into your account (Store menu.) Clcik on your Apple ID in the upper left corner and sign in again to view your account information. Change your country and provide a new payment method, both sections are found in the account information.
