How do I remove the links to Apple, Yahoo, Disney and ESPN from my iPAD

I do not want these links, bookmarks or what ever you call them. They are annoying to me and I will never use them. I am only using the Apple bookmark so I can find out how to get rid of it.

Open a webpage in Safari then tap the Bookmarks icon bottom of the screen the tap Edit.

Hello. I have noticed some very annoying adware/malware/bloatware, whatever it is called. I can not seem to get Google, Yahoo, Twitter, and Facebook off of my computer. When I go to empty my cache and cookies etc from Safari these websites come right back into my top sites. What gives? I don't use these sites. How can I get this garbage off of my computer and keep it from coming back? It's like a virus or something with how annoyingly persistent it is.

I’m still confused.
I installed my new Windows 7 SP1 system on the 5 November 2013 and Windows Update subsequently offered a number of updates to .NET Framework 3.5.1 which are all successfully installed.
KB958488, KB979900, and KB982526 are all old updates now and, with the exception of KB958488, have never been offered by Windows Update and are not installed on my system.
As mentioned in my original post, KB958488 is installed on my system but I believe that it was installed without my knowledge by the installation of the Mouse and Keyboard Center or possibly by .NET Framework 4 Client Profile.
If Windows Update had independently determined that my system needed or could benefit from KB958488, your post appears to suggest that Windows Update would have offered
KB982526 instead.
And, of course, I still have no explanation as to why, if KB958488 is an update to .NET Framework 3.5.1, all its files appear to belong to .NET Framework 4 and my update history believes it belongs
to .NET Framework 4 as well.

How do I remove the links underneath the main toolbar (most visited, latest headlines, news, Apple, etc.)?

I have no idea how to remove the links that are underneath the main toolbar (where the back and forward buttons are, refresh, etc.). I know they got there by either Apple default, or by me accidentally dragging something there. I have tried dragging them away, and they don't go anywhere. I tried dragging to the trash, etc.

That didn't help me. I am talking about the bar that looks like this the one in the picture. I know how to remove items from my bookmarks, but the items on this little menu/link bar are not all a part of my bookmarks, which makes me wonder if this is the bookmarks toolbar.

Were there apps that the previous owner bought from the Mac App Store on the Mac when you got it? They should have been removed before passing the Mac to you. At this point those are pirated apps and they can only be updated using the previous owners Apple ID. You should remove all of them from the Mac and buy them using your own Apple ID. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

How can I separate the family's Apple ID account library information from our central iTunes account?

When there was only one iPhone and one iPod Touch in the house, an iTunes account was opened and music, movies and other library content was stored and accessed readily for each device.
A second iPhone was introduced and we managed OK by using Music Playlists using the second iPhone on the same Apple ID.
The third phone came along, and since trying to manage that extra account - which included setting up additional Apple IDs (and the wretched iCloud), we have had nothing but issues!
Now I am thinking that I need to have separate iTunes accounts for each person with devices (we now have three iPhones and two iPads reliant on these accounts) - but want to be able to transfer items from the existing account to the individual accounts. That would be a satisfactory solution for most of the data we have stored - but we would still like to be able to refer to a common library.
Apple Care (or should that be 'don't Care') and the guys in the local Apple Store are of no help whatever - the latter referring me to a forum. Apple don't seem too keen to provide actual assistance in my situation. Can anybody help with this matter? - and how will I know if anybody answers this?

On your iOS device:
Settings > Music > turn Show ALl Music off
This will hide purchases that are not locally on your device.
In iTunes create a Playlist with just your music and sync only that playlist.

I have tried to scroll all the way up but it just freezes and closes out once I get like 2 months back.

Create your text with no fill or stroke.
In the Appearance pallette, give your text a fill and (one) stroke of the color you desire. Make the stroke weight what you want the final surrounding stroke to be.
Then, in the Appearance pallette, with the stroke selected, use the FX menu (see below, circled in red) and go to Path > Offest Path and enter the offset desired.

To print the project. The first 3 times it worked correctly. Now when I try to print it will not use the photo paper.
It will print out on regular paper.

How can i remove the links at the top of the page. When i publish to a folder, and I preview my site in SAFARI or Explorer, the links shows up at the top like a directory.

gman... if it's the navigation menu you're talking about. You deselect them by going to the inspector window found in the VIEW menu in iWeb.
Wen you get the inspector window, click on the page you want to edit in the SITE ORGANIZER on the left of the screen. Then, in the INSPECTOR WINDOW click on the page organizer, it looks like a page at the top of the window. There will be a box there that says "include page in navigation menu"... if you don't want this page to appear at the top of the pages in iWeb, make sure it's not checked.
Save your changes and republish.
