How do I remove these warnings?
Hello:
I have these clases:
public class CLayoutPanel extends Panel
static final long serialVersionUID = 42L;
//Something else...
abstract class CPanelConsult extends CLayoutPanel
static final long serialVersionUID = 42L;
public abstract CLayoutPanel CreatePanel();
class ConsItiner extends CPanelConsult
static final long serialVersionUID = 42L;
public CLayoutPanel CreatePanel()
CLayoutPanel DataPanel = new CLayoutPanel();
return DataPanel;
} NetBeans [6.0] shows a warning: "Field hides another Field" (referring to serialVersionUID ) in ConsItiner, but not for CPanelConsult, which indeed does have a serialVersionUID field, despite its superclass (CLayoutPanel) also does.
If I remove serialVersionUID from ConsItiner, NetBeans warning goes away, but I get a compiler warning:
warning: [serial] serializable class ConsItiner has no definition of serialVersionUID
Curiously, if I remove serialVersionUID from CPanelConsult, warning goes away for its subclases, but I will get the compiler warning for this class. And I can't use @Override for the field.
1-Is there any way to remove both warnings?
2-Also, why do I get the "Field hides another Field" warning for ConsItiner, but not for CPanelConsult, if both have the base class serialVersionUID?
Thanks!

And I can't use @Override for the field.The 'hiding' warning is coming because the fields are not defined as 'private', so they are, indeed, being hidden. Remember, a subclass inherits everything that it can 'see', and all your classes are in the same package (in fact in the same file, by the looks of it).

How can I remove these Warnings?/
Hi all,
I am getting these Warnings in my Report:1)"Field string ZERTAB is not referenced statically in the program".
2)"No read access to field L_DUMMY"
Please help me out in this,How can I remove this warning??
Regards,
Shashank.Hi Shashank,
Don't worry about these warnings, still you can activate your program and run. There will not be any difference in the your output.
1) "Field string <field1> is not referenced statically in the program", you will get this warning if you declare any variable and you are not using that variable in any part of your program. The solution for this is you can remove that variable if it is unusual or
Sol1: declare the variable like this
DATA : ZERTAB LIKE (or you can use TYPE) ERTAB. "#EC *
"#EC * is used to suppress the SAP warning messages
Sol2: declare the variable like this
SET EXTENDED CHECK OFF.
DATA : ZERTAB LIKE (or you can use TYPE) ERTAB
SET EXTENDED CHECK ON.
2) "No read access to field L_DUMMY", for this use "#EC NEEDED in the line of declaration (or) use SET EXTENDED command as above.
Hope this will help you.
Regards,
Venkat. -

I keep seeing a dialogue box asking me to sign in to iTunes accounts that are not my own. How do I remove these other accounts from my phone?
Try signing out of your iTunes account (scroll to bottom in the app), then sign in again.

For some reason, when my Macbook Pro starts up now, all of the MS Office applications open. This was not happening when I first purchased the laptop, and I never added these apps to the startup menu. How do I remove these apps from startup?
By default Mac apps do not close when you close the window you were working in. Unlike in Windows when you click the top right X icon in any program is closes the window and the program shuts down. On Mac OS X clicking the X in the top left hand corner only closes that windows and leave the program running in the background. If they are left open and you reboot they will restart with the system and load a window for them.

In the upper right hand corner of desktop I continually receive gray boxes with text asking me to accept/deny access to website access. "Do you want to allow connection to www.habbopromor7.blogspot.com". How do I get these removed permanently?
Sounds that you have security software that doesn't trust Firefox and blocks internet access by default, so you need to check that out and make sure that Firefox gets full and unrestricted access to internet.

How can I remove these icons?
I have a BR burner I've added to my MAC.
I use a combination of Roxio or Adobe Encore to burn to the BR burner. The discs come out working fine but these leave an icon in my finder and I cannot get rid of them. I've attached a picture.
The icons are the blue folders at the bottom. How do I get rid of those? I cannot, option+click, command+click, right click... nothing I try will give me an option to remove them.
Thanks
DrewBrilliant... worked like a charm.
Thanks!

My question says it all. In addition, this started to happen yesterday. Initially all I did is download the file. However, before I installed it, I checked with Google about it. When I discovered the file is a virus or malicious malware. So, I never installed it. I have run PC Tuneup Maestro several times now and fixed issues. However, this prompting from uplayermediaplayer-setup.exe keeps coming up on my computer screen. I do not install it. I want to rid my computer of this prompting from this file. I have Norton 360 Internet Security. I have checked my status with N360 too. I do believe via Internet Options on Internet Explorer 8 that I have cleared my computer cache ( I'm not sure if this is the correct procedure for doing clearing the computer cache?). This is a very annoying problem. I've wasted a lot of time trying to rid my computer of this supposed prompting to download and install this file. Earlier this morning, I tried to call in to N360 support, but the representative did not give me direct answers, wasted much time, and really did not give me a feeling of knowledge of this file or how to remove the prompting to download and install it.
Oh, just one more thing, I have the VLC media player on my computer. I am happy with it. It has also been updated to the most recent version 2.1.1 This is also why I questioned why uplayermediaplayer-setup.exe was even coming up on my computer screen in the first place.

I've downloaded something that is allowing Pop Ups. How would I remove these?
Is there a Program to remove Pop Ups?
The instructions mean, from the desktop, so that the Finder is showing at the upper left of the menu bar as the foreground app, you click Go, then move down nearly to the bottom of the drop down menu that displays and choose Go to Folder. Or, since it has an assigned keystroke, you can skip the mouse method of getting there and just press Command+Shift+G.
Be aware that these manual instructions may not help. Apple doesn't exactly keep on top of all of the various types of adware that appears. So the type of adware you installed may not even be part of the removal instructions. -

Does anyone know how I can stop this program from looking for files? Every time I restart PREVIEW gives two errors while it's searching for image files that are no longer there. FYI this is a lingering problem related to the replacement of my hard drive (under recall from apple), iphoto had to be totally rebuilt many times through technical support. Now there's just this program still trying to open phantom images.
If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/04/show-library-directory-in-mac-os-x-lion/
You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after I installed 10.8.2. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible. -
Hopefully someone here can help me...
My iCloud always shows my backup as being 4.8GB, even with EVERYTHING turned off. After downloading iOS 7 I figured out the problem: I have 4.8 GB of "Messages (Saved)". This is even after deleting ALL my messages. I'm not sure what this could be. I tried PhoneCleaner, i FunBox, and everything else I can find, but I can't find a way to access or view these messages to delete them. Could someone help me? I can't back anything up to iCloud with it like this.
Note: this was happening even before i upgraded to iOS 7.iOS 7 is not an upgrade. It is beta software, not yet fit for public use, and only available to developers. Get used to your iPhone being unusable.

about a week ago or more I added all the Firefox addons to prevent tracking on facebook and google then when I was sharing a picture from my "my documents" under the files in the "my downloads" on my desk top and I didn't download them. Is there a way to remove those files and prevent a third party from downloading to my files? I can not remove the folder as its the one with all my downloads like family pictures?
What were the names of the files? To my knowledge there is no way files can automatically download themselves unless they are told to do so by a addon, virus or malware. Are you sure another family member didn't download those files?
It may turn out the files are not dangerous.
