  • How do i set the background of the table( not of cell / row / column).

    How do i set the background of the table( not of cell / row / column).
    What happens when i load the applet the table is blank and displays the background color is gray which we want to be white.
    We tried using the setBackGround but it is not working maybe we are not using it properly. Any help would be gr8.
    Thanks in advance.

    I don't understand very well, but i guess that the background is gray when the table content's empty, isn't it?
    When the table model is empty, the JTable doesn't paint, so its container displays its background (often gray).
    In this case, what you must do is force the table to paint, even if the model is empty. So, you have to create your own table and override three methods :
    public class MyTable extends JTable
    //specify the preferred and minum size when empty
    myPreferredWidth = 200;
    myPreferredHeigth =200;
    myMinimunWidth = ...;
    myMinimunHeigth = ...;
    public Dimension getPreferredSize()
    if(getModel().getRowCount() < 1)
    return new Dimension(myPreferredWidth, myPreferredHeigth);
    else
    return super.getPreferredSize();
    public Dimension getMinimumSize()
    if( getModel().getRowCount() > 0)
    return new Dimension(myMinimunWidth, myMinimunHeigth);
    else
    return super.getMinimumSize();
    protected void paintComponent(Graphics g)
    if (getModel().getRowCount<1 && isOpaque()) { //paint background
    g.setColor(Color.white);
    g.fillRect(0, 0, getWidth(), getHeight());
    else super.paintComponent(g);
    }

  • Can I invoke a SubVI in an event? and how do I set the background color of a pipe to #0000ff?

    When I click an image or a glass pipe(which belongs to Industry/Chesmitry category in palette), I want a SubVI to be invoked.
    The purpose is to fetch an OPC-UA data from a web service and to write to it via the service.
    We are building an HMI solution which displays an interactive water plant diagram.
    When users click pipes and motors in the diagram, clicked devices should be turned on and off and change their animations or colors accordingly.
    OPC-UA is for communication with devices.
    I couldn't even set the background color of a pipe to "#0000ff", but setting it to "Red" or "Blue" was possible, and I don't know how to invoke SubVIs in event scripts.
    The documentations in NI.com are confusing and lack depth.
    Even silverlight references are confusing.
    How do I do all of these?

    Hi iCat,
    Can you provide some more information about your current implementation so that we can help to answer your questions. Some questions I have for you are:
    Are you creating this project in the NI LabVIEW Web UI Builder or in LabVIEW?
    How are you publishing your webservice? Is this also in LabVIEW?
    How is your webservice interacting with an OPC-UA server?
    How is the certification set up with OPC-UA so that you can communicate between the server and the client?

  • How do I set the background color of a page_item?

    I've been pasting "background-color:#5CD65C" in a number of places, like "HTML Table Cell Attributes" under the Label and the Element tabs, but get no results. Can anyone tell me how to set the background color of a cell, please?

    Hi Doug,
    Dynamic Actions is an alternative also, especially if it is conditional.
    Action Set Style
    Fire When Event Result Is True
    Style Name background-color
    Value #5CD65C
    Selection Type DOM Object
    DOM Object your item name
    Set your Condition Type and you have it.

  • How do I set the background on the Secondary Desktop?

    I just upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and connected a Secondary display.  Computer is a Quad-core Mac Pro.   I have a 27" Cinema display as the primary, the secondary is a 22" DVI monitor connected to the second Mini DisplayPort using an Apple adapter.
    The problem is that I can not set the Secondary Desktop.  It defaults to "Aurora" and refuses to budge.
    If I go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver, a window titled "Secondary Desktop" opens up on the secondary display, but no matter what selection I make the background on the secondary display does not change.
    Same results (Secondary desktop does not change) if I right click the secodary display and select "Change Desktop Background".
    This is not a complicated setup; no TV, no MacBook Pro used as a monitor, etc., just a Mac Pro with two monitors.
    It seems like this should be easier.

    Does this Graphics/Displays report from System Profiler look correct?
    I'm surprised that the Connection type for the secondary monitor is not
    showing up.

  • How I can set the background image in Muse for the menu I have in PSD

    I have design a layout and I want to get them converted from PS to muse. Can someone know how I can make this.
    I am trying to set the menu's top and bottom image in muse.
    Let me know how I can do it better.
    Thanks
    kristina

    Hi Kristina,
    You need to cut up the image you pasted above and also create an on/off state for all menu items. Actually, there are 4 states: Normal, Rollover, Mouse Over and Mouse Down, but you'll usually use two images as some states share the same image. Then you need to use the menu widget and supply your cut up images for all states in that widget. Check this link http://www.adobekb.com/building_your_first_website_pt4.html at around this section:

  • How to set the Background Color of a Text Field in a Tabular Report.

    Hello,
    I tried to set the Background Color of a Text Field in a Tabular Report.
    But I was not able to change this colur.
    In the report attributes --> column attributes
    I tried already:
    1. Column Formating -- >CSS Style (bgcolor: red)
    2. Tabular Form Element --> Element Attributes (bgcolor: red)
    but nothing worked.
    Can anybody help me?
    I Use Oracle Apex 2.2.1 on 10gR2
    thank you in advance.
    Oliver

    in "Report Attributes" select the column to move to the "Column Attributes" page. In the "Element Attributes" field under the "Tabular Form Element" region enter
    style="background-color:red;"
    I will also check if there is a way to do this via the template and post here again
    edit:
    in your template definition, above the template, enter the following:
    < STYLE TYPE="text/css" >
    .class INPUT {background-color:red;}
    < /STYLE >
    (remove the spaces after the < and before the >)
    change "class" to the class that the template is calling
    (I'm using theme 9, the table has: class="t9GCCReportsStyle1" so I would enter t9GCCReportsStyle1)
    A side-effect of using this second version is that ALL input types will have a red background color--checkboxes, input boxes, etc.

    How can I change the background of a running webpage on my own. Example Facebook I want to change its background color from white to black just in my view, not for all. Cause I really hate some site with white background because as I read for an hour it aches my eyes but not on those with darker background color.

    You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

  • How can i set the alternating colors for a table rows

    Dear All,
    Please any one help me how can i set the Alternating colors for Table Rows.
    i created a theam there i set the background alternating color to brown and i set the table design properity to alternating. but it is not reflecting.

    Hi,
    The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
    Please see the API below:
    design
    Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
    alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
    standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
    transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
    Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.
    Regards,
    Jaya.

  • How do I set the aspect ration for 4:3  or for 16:9?

    How do I set the aspect ration for 4:3  or for 16:9 in Adobe PE12?

    PulcinellaNM
    What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated from 12 to 12.1 Update via a project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so. That is all background information for now.
    As for the question that you are posting....
    I think we need to go a lot deeper into what you are doing. Here are some considerations
    The aspect ratio setting is in the import settings. In Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace, the project automatically sets the project preset based on the properties of the first video file that you drag to the Expert workspace Timeline. If your video's properties include a 16:9 flag, then the project settings will have a 16:9 flag (aspect ratio). If you do not want the project to set the project settings automatically, you can set the project settings yourself manually with File Menu/New/Project and then import your source video.
    If a problem exists where imported 16:9 video is presenting in Premiere Elements as 4:3 instead of 16:9 (typical of the JVC .mod file issue), then you can set the pixel aspect ratio under Interpret Footage feature inside the project workspace.
    At this point, I think it best for you to give more details and background behind your question so that we can be sure that we are giving you the information that you need to succeed in your projects.
    If you need clarification on anything written, please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.
    Thank you.

  • How do I set the default size of a new folder?

    I have finder sized the way I want for existing folders and if I do Finder > New Finder Window. These preferrences, however, do not seem to apply to new folders. Everytime I create a new folder on my desktop, and open that folder for the first time, the window size is really small and the sidebar is narrow. This is incredibally annoying. How do I set the default size for all new folders? Is there a plist file I can edit to fix this? Or an AppleScript I can run automatically in the background that fixes this? I am running Mavericks 10.9.1.

    If you use the Finder's New Finder Window command (command N) to create a new window, resize it, place it where you want, and set it for icon view or however you want it. Then close it. Closing it is what sets these as the default. That should become the default for every new Finder window you create using the new window command. But if you have lots of windows open at once and then close them, the last window you close will set a new default.
    There are lots of utilities that control Windows - their size and placement. I use one called Moom but there are many more.
