How do I target class elements within a symbol within a Symbol?

HI, any idea how I would change the below code to target elements with individual classes within a symbol within a symbol?
var countries = $(".UK,.Ireland,.Hongkong,.Switzerland,.USA,.India,.Japan,.Netherlands,.Spain,.AUS");
//var countries = sym.getSymbol("Countries").$("UK");
var charts = sym.getSymbol("Piecharts").$(".UK_Chart,.Ireland_Chart,.Hongkong_Chart,.Switzerland_Chart ,.USA_Chart,.India_Chart,.Japan_Chart,.Netherlands_Chart,.Spain_Chart,.AUS_Chart");
var chartstext = sym.getSymbol("Piechart").getSymbol("PiechartText").$(".UK_pietext,.USA_pietext,.AUS_piet ext,Hongkong_pietext,.Swizterland_pietext,.Ireland_pietext,.India_pietext,.Japan_pietext,. Netherlands_pietext,.Spain_pietext");
var textwindows = sym.getSymbol("Textwindows").$(".UK_text,.Ireland_text,.Hongkong_text,.Switzerland_text,. USA_text,.India_text,.Japan_text,.Netherlands_text,.Spain_text,.AUS_text");
var stanbuttons = sym.getSymbol("Stanbuttons").$(".UK_Stan,.USA_Stan");
AdobeEdge.reset = function(){
countries.each(function(){
//$(this).fadeOut();
$(this).css({'display':'none'});
charts.each(function(){
$(this).fadeOut();
chartstext.each(function(){
$(this).fadeOut();
stanbuttons.each(function(){
$(this).fadeOut();
textwindows.each(function(){
$(this).fadeOut();
function isSame(myObject,str){
var obj = $(myObject)[0].classList
for (var i=0;i<obj.length;i++){
if(obj[i]==str){
return true;
return false;

Answered here
Can anybody help me set this code into an array?

  • How to find target class/method

    Hi,
    I am new in OAF. I am opening a page from form.
    In Application -> Function that function name has HTML Call as below
    OA.jsp?akRegionCode=WFNTFDETAILSFNPAGE&akRegionApplicationId=601&OAFunc=FND_WFNTF_DETAILSURL on opened web page is
    https://host:port/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=16181&resp_id=51043&resp_appl_id=20003&security_group_id=0&lang_code=US&params=4XiL5F17oKK5MU.FgMDZFWoDyPgv5Ejey36oYszIUcg&oas=9SqEGPzammZ4QL08DZ-W9A..Here OA.jsp is redirecting to RF.jsp and this page invokes a RunFunction inside jsp.
    I need to know what class this RunFunction invokes further to show the page?
    Also in which directory I can find Java source codes?
    Thanks and regards,
    Kuldeep

    Hi,
    1) To enable 'About This Page' link, we need to set profile option "FND: Diagnostics" value to "Yes".
    2) To call an OAF page from AOL function we need to mention the page name and path in the 'HTML Call' property (e.g. page name and path: OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/xxx/xxx/xxx/webui/xxxPG). Here OA.jsp takes care of showing the page.
    3) All the event handling of the page is taken care by controller class. Regarding this I have already shared some info.
    Refer DevGuide for furthur info.

    Hi All,
    How do i create a target class to target it to a Rule or monitor.
    When we create a rule or monitor we target it to a specific class or classes of objects. Like in the example of the below screenshot.
    I want to know how do i create my own custom made target for specific servers and point them to that target so i can select that when i create a rule or monitor.

  • How to make a class an array

    Hello, i am very confused as to how to make an array inside a class and use it from another class. For example, when making a "Book of hotties" where i would create entries in a book(objects) of hot women ,with parameters
    name, last name, phone number, and rating, and i am supposed to make a class for the book itself with a Person [ ] blackBook, and also a separete class called Person where i would create each person. How would i go about creating this array and where would i create it? and from that how can i access it in order to perform methods like sorting and checking entries? Tnx in advance.

    You probably need to start here: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/java/nutsandbolts/arrays.html
    There is also a Java collection called ArrayList which is suitable for storing and retreiving objects such as BlackBook, Person etc...
    To access elements of an array within a class you would most likely use a public getter method. eg.
    public class BlackBook {
       private ArrayList<Person> persons = new ArrayList<Person>();
      public ArrayList<Person> getPersons() {
         return this.persons;
      public Person getPerson(int index) {
        this.persons.get(index);
    };etc..

  • How to get the last element of a structure in a textfield in DesignStudio

    Hello,
    how can I get the last element of a structure within a bex query?
    Within the structure we are working with dates that dynamically are buiId (input date - offsets for several months).
    I have to show the last value in a single textfield within DesignStudio.
    Regards

    Hi Frank,
    in DS 1.3 you can use forEach function to get the last element of BEx structure (or n-th element in general using if condition)
    var array = DS_CROSSTAB1.getMembers("DHGY5D6XEFO1K45SB00BXFH7A",10);
    var lastMember="";
    array.forEach(function(element, index) {
           lastMember = element.text;
    TEXT_1.setText("Last structure element: "+lastMember);

  • How to convert a class file to exe file and how to cteate a class file to d

    how to convert a class file to exe file

    Hi Bhaskarq,
    Hi,
    It is not at all possible.
    But it is a really worst method.
    Please go through it.
    This is a very common question asked in the comp.lang.java newsgroup. Its often useful to have an
    executable application when deploying your
    applications to a specific platform, but remember to
    make your .class files available for users running
    Unix/Macintosh/other platforms.
    Microsoft provide a free system development kit (SDK),
    for Java, which includes the jexegen tool. This
    will convert class files into a .EXE form. The only
    disadvantage is that users need a Microsoft Java
    Virtual Machine (JVM) installed. If your target
    platform is Win32, you can either redistribute the
    virtual
    machine, or raise the level of your system
    requirements, to include Windows 98, or Windows 95
    with
    Internet Explorer 4. Systems matching these
    requirements will already have a copy of the Microsoft
    Java Virtual Machine installed.
    Note : You must specify all of the class files your
    application needs (except for standard java packges)
    as a parameter, so if you have third party libraries,
    you'll need to include them as well. You can use wildcards * though, and you don't need the original source code.
    Also please see this Forum which will give a good idea
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=31&thread=149733
    I hope this will help you.

  • How to instantiate a DOM Element in Forms to call Web Service?

    Hi All,
    I need to call a Java Class that has been converted into PL/SQL in order to run a Web Service.
    The PL/SQL function looks like this:
    -- Method: GetPIValue (Lorg/w3c/dom/Element;)Ljava/util/Vector;

    JNI.ADD_OBJECT_ARG(args, a0, JNI.GET_CLASS('org/w3c/dom/Element'));
    RETURN JNI.CALL_OBJECT_METHOD(obj, mid, args);
    END;
    where "a0" is of org.w3c.dom.Element argument that is passed into the function as an obj_java.jobject.
    How can I create an ELEMENT object and call this function by passing this Element and its related Attributes. I have tried the following so far but I am getting this ERROR "Unable to call out to Java, Argument 1 can not be null.

  • How to bind a UI element to the context

    Hi Experts,
               I have a problem binding UI element to the context. In my code i have to create TabStrips dynamically and under this tabstrip number of UI elements would be there. For this i have a code like this..

       Can any body tell me how to bind a UI element to the context if I understood the exceptions correct..

    HI,
    lets say Ctx is your context attribute,
    IWDAttributeInfo attrInfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo.getAttribute("Ctx");
    then , as per your code,
    IWDInputField in = (IWDInputField) view.createElement(IWDInputField.class,"in");
    <b>in.bindValue(attrInfo);</b>
    if your contex attribute is child of some other node then do like this,
    IWDAttributeInfo attrInfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo.getChildNode("SalesOrder",0)getAttribute("Ctx");
    //this is when Ctx is child of node SalesOrder, and we are taking Ctx from its 0th element
    then ,
    IWDInputField in = (IWDInputField) view.createElement(IWDInputField.class,"in");
    <b>in.bindValue(attrInfo);</b>
    include this in your code ,
    let me know if you face any problem

  • How to completely delete Photoshop Elements from my computer??

    Hi
    I am trying to completely remove Photoshop Elements from my computer.   So far, I have failed in my attempts to do this.   The reason I'm doing this is b/c for some reason that I can't fathom, the folders in My Pictures -- the folders named by shot date -- contain random duplicates.When this happens, the file names folow the convention of DSC_0222 and DSC_0222-1. Exactly the same file size and metadata.  In some folders, every picture is duplicated. In other folders, only selected pitcures within the folder are duplicated.   I can't figure out how they got there -- e.g. it doesn't seem to bear any connection to the photos I've edited, which was one theory I had for a while.   Is Elements responsible? Or is this some sort of bug in the download process from the camera (I have a Nikon D40).  Anyway, I've given up on trying to sovle this problem and decided I would go back to the beginning and reload everything from my camera.   So, my real question here is about how to completely uninstall Elements.
    Here's what I did:    I uninstalled Photoshop Elements through the Add/remove programs utility.  I got no errors during the uninstall process.   Then I completely deleted the My Pictures directory (don't worry -- I have it backed up in multiple places!!).   So, at this point there are *no* pictures on my computer at all.    I reinstall Elements, open it up and -- you guessed it!!! -- the catalog is still there with all the thumbnails of the pictures that i deleted from my hard disk.   Of course, each thumbnail is flagged as "Missing File".
    So, how do I uninstall/reinstall Elements and get it to forget all memory of the previous catalog?   Why is it "remembering" it in this way when the pictures aren't even on the computer anymore?  Isn't this a bug???
    I've been working on this issue for much longer than I care to remember-- if anyone can tell me how to get myself truly back to ground-zero so I can start over I would be deeply grateful.   After upgrading to Elements 9 (from 7) to try to solve this problem I am close to just abandoning Elements entirely.....
    WHile we're at it, if anyone has any idea where the duplicates pictures are coming from and how I prevent that from happening, I'm' all ears!!!!
    Thanks!

    Hi
    Thanks so much for the response.   So, Help/System Info says that the catalog is here:
    Catalog Location: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs\My Catalog\
    but no such file appaers to exist.  In fact, I can only get as far as All Users.   Then there is no directory under that called "Application Data".
    i'm still seeing the thumbnails when I got into Elements tho'....   :-(

  • How to create an UI element dynamically on action in drop down?

    Hi,
    How to create an UI element dynamically on action of selecting a value from the  drop down?
    help out with the steps i need to follow..

    Hi,
    <u><i><b>Dynamic UI Element creation</b></i></u>
    We can create it only in the WD Modify View.
    Get the instance for the Root UI Element Container.
    Create the UI element Ex: Input Field, Text View etc.
    Bind the UI Element to the Attribute Value.
    Now bind the UI Element to the Root UI Element Container.
              IWDTransparentContainer root =(IWDTransparentContainer)view.getRootElement();
              IWDDropdownByIndex DdbName = (IWDDropdownByIndex)view.createElement(IWDDropdownByIndex.class,"DdbName");
              IWDDropdownByIndex DdbAge = (IWDDropdownByIndex)view.createElement(IWDDropdownByIndex.class,"DdbAge");
              IWDDropdownByIndex DdbGender = (IWDDropdownByIndex)view.createElement(IWDDropdownByIndex.class,"DdbGender");
              IWDNode Mad =wdContext.getChildNode("Person",0);
              IWDAttributeInfo NameAtt = Mad.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Name");
              IWDAttributeInfo AgeAtt = Mad.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Age");
              IWDAttributeInfo GenderAtt = Mad.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("Gender");
              DdbName.bindValue(NameAtt);
              DdbAge.bindValue(AgeAtt);
              DdbGender.bindValue(GenderAtt);
              root.addChild(DdbName);
              root.addChild(DdbAge);
              root.addChild(DdbGender);
    <u><i><b>Dynamic Action Creation</b></i></u>
    Create the Action in the Action tab.
    Create a Button.
    Get the reference for the created action (Through the Event Handler).
    Bind the Action to the Button.
    Bind the Button to the Root UI element Container.
    IWDButton ButGo = (IWDButton)view.createElement(IWDButton.class,"ButGo");
    IWDAction ActGo = wdThis.wdCreateAction(IPrivateStartView.WDActionEventHandler.GO,"Click");
    ButGo.setOnAction(ActGo);
    root.addChild(ButGo);
    Now write the required code for the Event Handler that is associated with the Action.
    //@@begin onActionGo(ServerEvent)
        IWDNode Mad = wdContext.getChildNode("Person",0);
         wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(Mad.getCurrentElement().getAttributeAsText("Name"));
         wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(Mad.getCurrentElement().getAttributeAsText("Age"));
         wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager().reportSuccess(Mad.getCurrentElement().getAttributeAsText("Gender"));
    //@@end

  • How to transport the text elements in  Reports?

    need answer to this question.
    how to transport the text elements in the reports?
    Edited by: venkata kumar on Feb 18, 2008 1:33 PM

    Hi Venkata,
    Text Elements are a component/part of the SAP script and are not individual ABAP objects within the SAP environment hence they cannot be transported independently.
    You would need to make changes in your text elements in the SAP script which would result in the SAP script being saved under a transport and moving the transport across the landscape would result in the text elements also getting transported.
    In short: Move SAP script - to move text elements.

  • How to define current flow element and more

    Hi all. I've just started with text layout and I have a lot of questions, will be thankfull if smbdy can help me.
    1. How can I get the flow element according to mouse position over it, for exmple highlight the paragraph element on mouse over.
    2. How to implement drag&drop behavior to text flow elements, for example for images.
    3. How can I get the element in which the blinky "add text here icon" is located?
    Thanks.

    1. How can I get the flow element according to mouse position over it, for exmple highlight the paragraph element on mouse over.
    Probably the most efficient way is to listen for the updateComplete from the TextFlow, and when it comes walk the flowComposer's TextFlowLines for each paragraph to get the paragraph bounds. Once you have a list of bounds, doing the roll over on mouse move should be very quick.
    2. How to implement drag&drop behavior to text flow elements, for example for images.
    Good question. The container that holds the text will be getting events for mouse down, mouse move, etc. and handles them by passing them along to the interactionManager (class name SelectionManager). The interactionManager handles them by making a text selection. If you want to handle the mouseUp by inserting the image at the selection, that should be pretty simple. There's a method for that in IEditManager (the interactionManager is also an IEditManager), so you can just call interactionManager.insertInlineGraphic.
    3. How can I get the element in which the blinky "add text here icon" is located?
    Easiest way is to call
         ElementRange.createElementRange(textFlow, textFlow.interactionManager.absoluteStart, textFlow.interactionManager.absoluteEnd);
    That creates an element range which will have the leaf and paragraph elements in the selection.
    Hope this helps,

              }catch(Exception e)
                   e.printStackTrace();
    But its giving class cast exception. Please help on this..

    Do you mean "two different layers" as in separate JVMs or "two different layers" as in functional areas running within the same JVM.
    In either case, if the first class is actually semantically and functionally the same as the second (and they are always intended to be the same) then import and and use the first class in place of the second. That's beyond any question of how to get the data of the first into the second if and when you need to.
    Once you make the breakthrough and use one class instead of two I'd guess that almost solves your problem. But if you want to describe your architecture a little that would help others pin down want you're trying to do.

  • How to create a container element?

    Hi,
    Could somebody please tell me how to create a container element and how to create a multi container element? How is this element used in the fork step?
    I am using a fork with 3 branches but the agent assignment is a problem.The workitem does not go to the user set in the agents tab.
    Regards,
    Monica.

    Hi Monica,
    Within your Workflow Builder, there is a box on the left hand side that (Workflow Container). You should have an option (in change mode) to right-click and create or double-click on the <Double-Click to create> tab.
    Or you can go to the Workflow Container "Goto -> Workflow Container" and click on the "Create" <F5> icon.
    Same theory applies to creating a container element in your task. Go to your task and click on the "Container" button and select "Create".
    When creating your container, you can specify if it is a multiline container by checking "Multiline" under the container attributes.
    In a fork step, you would really only use your "Container Element" in the "End Condition" of a Fork step.
    Please advise what the "Agent Assignment" is referring to when you're using it in your fork? Which step in the fork?
    If you are assigning agents in one step of the fork, you cannot expect these agents to apply to your other 2 fork steps. The forks work independently of each other (to a point).
    Please provide more information if you need more help.
    Kind regards,
    Tom

  • How do you change the colors of individual cells within a 2D array?

    How do you change the colors of individual cells within a 2D array of numeric indicators?
    I want the VI to check a data value and if it is failing, white out a square at a specific index coordinate.  I have it working with color boxes, but I'm not sure how to use the property node function, to change the color of individual cells, by coordinates.
    I have attached the VI using color boxes. If you run the VI, the box corresponding to the Step control should turn white.
    I want to do the same thing, using numeric indicator boxes inside the array.

Why do you create a boolean array if you later only look at the last element (Yes, the FOR loop does nothing useful, except in the last iteration because your outputs are not indexing. All other iterations are useless, you only get the result of the last array element. My guess is that you want to color the index white if at least one of the numbers is out if range. Right?
    It is an absolute nightmare to manage all your numeric labels. Just read them from a 2D array. Now you can simply find the index of the matched elements and don't have to spend hours editing case structure conditions.
    Attached is a simple example how you would do what I meant (LV7.1). Modify as needed.
